Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer. Tonight, defending Bobbi Kristina. Whitney Houston`s only child is getting some big-time backup against all these wild reports that are suggesting she is headed down a very dangerous road.
Now, it`s been just three months since her mom died. And since then, Bobbi Kristina has had to deal with her loss publicly.
Right after Whitney died, Bobbi Kris was rushed to the hospital for anxiety. And now, she`s on the road to reinvention, taking a role on Tyler Perry`s TV show, getting ready for a reality show and working on her own music.
But there`s still these nagging reports swirling around that maybe, just maybe all is not well with Bobbi Kristina.
Now, her father, Bobby Brown, is one of the strong voices that`s coming to her defense. Watch what he just told MTV`s "Sway" about all the scrutiny about his daughter.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BOBBY BROWN, SINGER: That`s my baby girl.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK.
B. BROWN: That`s my baby girl. She`ll forever be my baby girl. She`s doing what she`s doing, and I`m extremely proud of her. Any parent that has a teenager in their life, they go through things, you know.
They go through phases that, you know, they might not be doing what you exactly want them to do in life. They grow out of it, and my baby girl has grown out of it.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: And with me in New York tonight, the lovely and talented Emmy- Award winning actress, Jackee, who is now starring in the just-released DVD movie, "Brother White." Also, the lovely and talented and very funny, Bill Bellamy, whose new comedy special is called, "Crazy, Sexy, Dirty." It`s debuting on Showtime on June 2nd. It`s great to see you both.
BILL BELLAMY, ACTOR: Thank you for having me.
HAMMER: So listen, obviously, we`re all hoping for the best for Bobbi Kristina.
BELLAMY: Absolutely.
HAMMER: We just saw her two weeks ago on the Billboard Music Awards. She was very emotional when she got on stage. She was very fragile.
Jackee, what do you think? Is it too soon to make a big leap into the spotlight? A lot of people are very concerned.
JACKEE, ACTRESS: Did you see - I know Bobby Brown. I introduced Bobby Brown to Whitney, people. She said "Soul Train," but I introduced at that "Harlem Nights" premiere. She came with me and I`ve got witnesses, "Jackee, can you introduce me to Bobby?"
BELLAMY: Oh, that`s the first time?
JACKEE: Yes, but you know, I`m not responsible for what happened in terms of -
HAMMER: I understand.
JACKEE: But - so I know them. I know Bobby. I love Bobby Brown. He`s cool people, and she was cool people. But Bobbi Kristina knew her mother. She knew her mother just like I knew my mom.
You know, I lived in the project. You don`t know about that, do you? You know your mother. She wasn`t a stranger to her parents. You know, people act like she sheltered. They were from Newark. Come on. They were down, you know.
BELLAMY: Yes, my hometown.
JACKEE: Yes.
BELLAMY: You know, I just think - not to cut you off. I just think that it`s a lot for any child, you know. You lose your mom. That is major, you know. It`s a lot to handle.
I hope that she can handle it all at one time. I mean, she`s still - now, she`s going to do some entertaining and music and all that, and you just lost your mom. That`s a lot.
JACKEE: I think she can, though.
HAMMER: And her dad Bobby just making -
JACKEE: She`s tough though.
HAMMER: The very keen point she`s also a teenager.
JACKEE: Yes.
BELLAMY: She`s young.
HAMMER: Teenagers, let alone being the daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston and having your mother die, you have a lot of issues to deal with.
BELLAMY: Yes.
HAMMER: And look, fortunately, she seems to have a lot of support around her, not just her dad. Tyler Perry today lashing out at all these reports that are floating around about Bobbi Kris.
He posted a message on his Facebook page to his fans about his Bobbi Kris. Let me read to you what he said. He said, "The one thing that I learned after my mother`s death is that you have to keep busy and you have to be around people who you can trust so that when you do grieve, you can do it in the safety and privacy of people that care."
Tyler is speaking out after a report came saying that Bobbi Kris had walked off the set of his show that she`s in, reports that he`s saying they`re just not true. They`re flat-out lies.
But Bill, the truth is, we know it comes with the territory when you`re working in this business that people are going to say, "Hey, so-and-so walked off the set," when it never happened.
(CROSS TALK)
BELLAMY: It could be something so simple where she had to go back to her trailer to get something, and people thought she was upset.
JACKEE: Right.
BELLAMY: And now, with the social media, you know, anything can be blown out of proportion.
HAMMER: He said it didn`t even happen at all.
BELLAMY: Yes. He said it didn`t happen.
HAMMER: There was no leaving any set.
BELLAMY: This is - let`s hope she`s cool.
JACKEE: She`s a cool little girl. She knew her mother. She has that strong family, you know. Her siblings are strong. They`re people. They`re not weaklings. They`re not going, "Oh, baby. Are you OK?"
BELLAMY: She`ll be fine.
JACKEE: But you know, she`s got to deal with all that money. I sure want to call her, "Girl, give me $5." You know, don`t you?
BELLAMY: I love you. Like, "Bobbi, loan me $200."
HAMMER: You got it.
BELLAMY: You got it.
HAMMER: No problem. You go back, so good luck with that. We`ll see if we can work that out for you. But I can`t help but compare Bobbi Kris in certain ways to Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
We`re talking about young starlets all involved with new TV shows trying to reinvent themselves right now. Here`s our SHOWBIZ flashpoint - Jackee, what do you think about this? Is TV the wrong place for an image makeover? Because it seems to be the way these days.
JACKEE: Yes. It`s too fast. And I can tell you for a fact when I started "227," I was just doing a job. I didn`t know it would turn into what it would turn into.
I didn`t think I would be working and get so-called famous. I call it "so- called," you know. But Britney, I mean, she is worldwide. So she`s not really coming back, but she`s trying to grow instead of just being a pop icon.
She`s trying to grow. So for her, maybe so, you know. I think it`s good for her.
BELLAMY: I think it`s a wonderful move. I don`t know why people call it a makeover or a comeback. When you get paid $15 million to be a judge, that is called congratulations. That`s not a problem to me.
HAMMER: I`d like to think so deeply. But the truth is we know with somebody like Britney Spears, there probably are discussions that went on, you know, "This would be really good for your career and your image."
BELLAMY: I think what music stars are doing and like Howard Stern did and all the people that are on these shows - they`re so big.
So you stay in front of the people every week. You know, you come out with an album every two, three years. But if you`re on TV every day or every week, you know, in front of millions of people, when your album comes out, people know who you are. You know what I mean?
HAMMER: Let`s talk about another pop star`s image because Justin Bieber -
BELLAMY: Love the Biebs.
HAMMER: Listen, Biebs was accused of assaulting a paparazzo over the weekend. Some people are saying he`s just growing up. He`s trying to change his good-boy image.
But just days before the alleged altercation, there was this new video that came out showing Justin working out with boxing great, Mike Tyson. Watch this with me.
BELLAMY: Oh, my goodness.
MIKE TYSON, BOXING CHAMPION: Open up on me. Yes, jab, jab. Get crazy on it, baby.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
BELLAMY: That`s an adjustment. Find enough power. More power. Swing, swing left hook, right hook. Swing, swing, hook. I love Mike Tyson.
Let me tell you something. I don`t care how much you work out with Mike Tyson. You are not going to be a hardcore dude, Justin. I`m just telling you.
I love Justin Bieber, but it is out of control, A.J. Listen, this kid is young. He`s rich. He`s famous. Leave it alone. You are not going to be intimidating.
(CROSS TALK)
He probably just pushed somebody. Justin Bieber hit me, I`m not telling anybody. That is embarrassing. It`s embarrassing. You know Justin beat me up. What?
HAMMER: Charles, put up the photo of Justin. He`s not just hanging out with Tyson. He`s also hanging out in the ring with bad boy, Floyd Mayweather. That was earlier this month.
And let`s show another picture. That`s Chris Brown hanging out with Justin Bieber. Jackee, what do you think?" These guys are bad boys. Could they cost Justin his squeaky clean image?
JACKEE: You know, he started with Usher. Usher`s not a bad boy. But Usher, you know, he got him there. He got him in there. But he`s kind of hardened him up.
Justin is going to change his music. I think this is a segue to changing his music. He doesn`t want to do bubble gum anymore. He wants to go and grow.
HAMMER: I mean, do you have to bring in boxers and Chris Brown?
JACKEE: Yes, for him.
BELLAMY: You`ve got to ease your way into that. How old is he now?
JACKEE: Eighteen.
BELLAMY: Seven - seven years old? OK. You`ve got to it ease your way into it, little guy. First of all, you don`t have to be so rough, OK?
Look at his face. He doesn`t even have a mustache. There`s nothing intimidating about the boy.
HAMMER: I`ve got to salute you as we wrap it up. You should be hanging out with Bill Bellamy, clearly. Jackee, Bill, thank you both so much.
Make sure you check out Jackee`s brand-new movie, "Brother White." It`s available on DVD. And tune in for Bill`s new comedy special, "Crazy, Sexy, Dirty," on Show Time. We`ll have it on June 2nd.
You can see Bill live in action, June 22nd, at the Houston improv.
As we attempt to move on tonight, you know, the pen may be mightier than the sword. But in Hollywood, talk is the weapon of choice, at least in the talk show wars.
Katie, Arsenio, Bethenny - who`s going to survive the vicious TV talk show smack-down?
Here`s another name to add to the mix. Michael Strahan - he has been doing an amazing job just co-hosting with Kelly Ripa. Could he replace Regis Philbin.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MICHAEL STRAHAN, FMR. NFL PLAYER: I try not to think about it as replacing Regis. No one can ever do that. And I think if you put in that aspect and you think about, it`s just too big.
HAMMER: Maybe, maybe not. Michael talks Kelly, chemistry and the future in our SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
And now, I have some very exciting news, Saturday, June 23rd, 8:00 p.m. Eastern, HLN brings you live the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: A handwritten letter by Michael Jackson to Lisa Marie Presley won`t go up for auction after all. The letter was written in the `90s, around the time that they were married.
And in it, Michael talks about his desperate need for sleep, a need that ultimately led to his death from propofol.
Well, Michael`s letter was part of the same auction that has Elvis` crypt up for bids. The letter was expected to sell for more than $1,000. It was removed from the auction at the request of Lisa Marie.
Moving on to a question on everyone`s mind, who can replace Regis Philbin?
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STRAHAN: I have been having Kelly withdrawals.
KELLY RIPA, HOST, "LIVE WITH KELLY": Oh, my gosh.
STRAHAN: Really. Really. I wake up. I turn on the TV, and I`m watching you and I`m going, "She`s cheating on me." And in my face, too.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Is Michael Strahan the new Regis? Well, he`s clearly got chemistry with Kelly Ripa. And today, there are brand-new reports saying that he`s the frontrunner to replace Regis Philbin on "Live."
The former NFL star has guest co-hosted with Kelly a staggering nine times. So could Strahan and Ripa be daytime`s new dynamic duo?
Strahan opened up his home to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner where she asked him about the possibility of getting Regis` old gig.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STRAHAN: I try not to think about it as replacing Regis. I don`t know if I can ever do that. And I think if you put it in that aspect, when you think about it, it`s too big.
So I just look at it as an opportunity to go on TV and tell stories and have fun and tame myself and other people and not look at the big magnitude and scope of it.
TURNER: But you get the sense it`s "the job" out there.
STRAHAN: Yes. And you and I sit here talking about (UNINTELLIGIBLE) country and where we come from. And I`m like, well, I grew up in the country. And then, I go to Germany and I came back to the States.
And I play football, then I play football. Fifteen great years and then I`m on Fox now. And all of a sudden, I had an opportunity for this. It blows my mind, too. I don`t get it. I`m just riding the wave.
I`m enjoying it. I ride the wave. I think this show fits my personality. I get along with Kelly great. I`m very hard to get along with pretty much anybody. I get along with her great.
I love her. She`s really a sweetheart. And what you see on the show is what you get off the show, which is very much me. If you see me now, this is what you get.
I`m not trying to fool anybody and be something I`m not, because it`s too hard to live up to those things. And it`s a contrast.
Here I am, this big athlete guy. And here she is, athletic but this little woman. Just the two contrasts. But I think we relate in a lot of ways because of the kids and family and just, you know, life in general and how we move around and things that happen to us.
TURNER: How does it feel though when you hear people say Michael Strahan is frontrunner for this job?
STRAHAN: I don`t think about it.
TURNER: No?
STRAHAN: No.
TURNER: Do you think you`re the frontrunner?
STRAHAN: I try not to picture myself as that.
TURNER: No?
STRAHAN: I don`t want to get my hopes up. I`ve never done that. Even when I was playing, I never did it. I never watched and go back and said, "I had a great year. Let me watch some film of my year."
No. I felt like once I started doing that, then I would go, "Yes, I am pretty good. I need people." Then you slack.
TURNER: Well, you`ve had people. I mean, a lot of people loved Neil Patrick Harris. And he came out and said, "This is a great gig. I love it, but I`m not going to do it. I live in L.A. I tape in L.A." You live in L.A. You tape in L.A.
STRAHAN: I tape one day a week in L.A. I tape one day a week during the football season on Sundays. So for me -
TURNER: So you could do both?
STRAHAN: I could do both, yes, because to me, it`s (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
(CROSS TALK)
TURNER: Would you do both?
STRAHAN: Of course, I`d do both. I`d do both in a heartbeat. I like to work. I love to work. I love to work doing work that I like.
So for me, it would be Monday through Friday, New York, and then I`d come out here and do a show - NFL show on Sunday. And then I go back and do the next show again. It would definitely work.
TURNER: What I read today was sources say "Live with Kelly" officials are getting close to nailing down a deal with Michael Strahan.
STRAHAN: I hope so. You read something Michael Strahan didn`t read, (UNINTELLIGIBLE) so.
TURNER: So if they offered you the gig, you`d be like, "New York City."
STRAHAN: If they offered me the gig, I`d be in New York before the ink dries, of course.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: You`ve got to love his candor. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner joining me now from Hollywood. So Nischelle, Michael certainly has a different tone than other guest co-hosts we`ve heard from in the past.
He`s available, and I think he has too much time on his hands. He says he wants the job. But did he give you any sense that something is definitely in the works? He was being a little coy.
TURNER: Yes, he was, A.J. You know, I asked him that, though. He talked to me about timing and how Kelly`s deal took about a year when she came in. And Michael is hearing exactly what we hear at this point, that they`re going through a process.
But if he`s a frontrunner he`s happy to jump on board. Michael also says, you know, doesn`t feel any pressure. He`s kind of just going with the flow. And if they want him to take the job, he`s all theirs.
And you know what? Full disclosure here. I`m a little biased when it comes to Strahan. I would love it. I love that guy and I think he and Kelly are great together.
HAMMER: Yes. They are terrific together. All right. Nischelle, that was great. Thank you so much.
Jessica Simpson`s baby joy. Jessica`s baby girl makes the debut on the cover of "People" magazine. What`s Jessica`s life like now? How does she really feel about her baby weight?
We go behind the photos tonight. And Tori Spelling pregnant now with her fourth child and rocking this racy swimsuit. Are you looking at this saying, "Rock on"? Or Tori, TMI. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Diddy`s free ride backlash. There`s major outrage over what the son of one of the richest men in hip-hop just got, a free ride to UCLA.
Justin Combs, Sean Diddy Combs oldest son, won`t have to pay a dime of the $54,000 UCLA tuition, thanks to a football scholarship.
Now, to put this outrage in Diddy`s reported $475 million fortune into perspective, Nikki Minaj just performed at Justin Combs sweet 16.
And he had ended the night behind the wheel of a $360,000 Maybach. Yes. What did you get? So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, should Diddy`s son return or donate the scholarship money to someone who really needs it?
Let me bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner from Hollywood. What do you think, Nischelle?
TURNER: Well, A.J., you know what? I`ve got two words for you - Josh Kroenke. And if you don`t know that name, I`ll tell you who he is. He is the son of the Stan and Ann Kroenke who own the Denver Nuggets, St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Rams.
Josh Kroenke, a few years ago, went to the University of Missouri on a full basketball scholarship and nobody said a word. That family is worth three times what Diddy is worth.
So I think this criticism, A.J., honestly, is a little unfair, although if I was Diddy, I`d give the money back. And I`d just pay for my son to go to school and let him walk on and still be an athlete to avoid all this mess.
HAMMER: Yes. I would say the same thing. And I think people really, Nischelle, to my surprise, aren`t calling the school out for this at all.
TURNER: No. I mean, you know what? The school is there to recruit the best players. That`s what they`re supposed to do. And I know the coach who he will be playing for. He doesn`t play favorites.
If you`re a good player, he`s going after you for his football team. So I don`t think UCLA really bears any blame here.
HAMMER: All right, Nischelle. Thanks so much. And now, here`s something that won`t cost you a dime. Join us for HLN`s new "EVENING EXPRESS."
Now, you already start your day with HLN`s "MORNING EXPRESS." Now, there`s a new "Express" ready to welcome you home, whether it`s parenting, education, health, relationships, personal finance.
You have Ryan Smith, Clark Howard and Isha Sesay who have got you covered on HLN "EVENING EXPRESS" which starts on Monday, 5:00 to 7:00 Eastern.
Time for the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Katie, Arsenio, Bethenny - the battle for the talk show supremacy has never been more heated. Who will survive and live to talk about it?
Plus, Tori Spelling giving some people something to talk about tonight. Check out her growing baby bump and this tiny little swimsuit she`s wearing. This picture`s got everybody wondering, flaunt it if you`ve got it, or TMI?
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Big news breaking tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - the million-dollar baby. Jessica Simpson is finally revealing the first pictures of her baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. The brand-new baby pictures that are bringing in a fortune. Tonight, turning cute into a windfall.
Talk show wars. Katie Couric, Arsenio Hall, Bethenny Frankel - the battle to take over daytime TV. Our SHOWBIZ flashpoint - who is going to come out on top in the fierce new war to dominate talk TV?
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Tonight, forget Oprah? Well, there`s remarkable new evidence that Oprah Winfrey`s reign as the queen of talk TV may have had more time to do with her time slot than her star power.
With me in New York, the great Bill Bellamy, whose new comedy special, "Crazy, Sexy, Dirty" premieres this Saturday on Show Time. Bill is out on the road right now doing standup. He`s performing at the Houston Improv on June 22nd through June 24th.
With me from Hollywood, Kim Serafin, who is the senior editor with "In Touch Weekly."
So listen to this, guys. It turns out that a year after Oprah ended her talk show, the shows that took her time slot are actually up in the ratings.
Look at this. Dr. Oz`s show was up 18 percent over last year over what Oprah was doing. "Ellen" up 20 percent. Now, Bill, we can`t take anything away from what Oprah was able to accomplish in her career. But is she still the queen of talk in your mind?
BELLAMY: Well, you know, the numbers don`t lie, A.J. Oprah - it`s a thing where you take off for a millisecond, somebody is going to slide in there and do their thing.
HAMMER: Right.
BELLAMY: Ellen is killing it. Dr. Oz killing it. All that information. All that personality. They`re winning. I still love Oprah.
HAMMER: Of course.
BELLAMY: I mean, she`s still the queen - by respect and what she`s accomplished, yes. But no, there`s a new king and queen, obviously, and you can`t take off.
HAMMER: Yes.
BELLAMY: Look at Beyonce, right? Beyonce had the baby and put the baby in the carriage. She`s not playing. She knows there`s like nine girls sitting right in the wing, going to try to slide in there. Can`t take a day off.
HAMMER: Kim, look into your crystal ball. Who is dominating daytime talk a year from now, Ellen or Oz?
BELLAMY: Oz.
KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Man, that`s a tough one, because they both attract different audiences. Similar sensibilities, but obviously Dr. Oz, an Oprah protege.
But Ellen - she`s got that celeb-friendly interview factor. She gives away gifts like Oprah did. I don`t know. I love Ellen. I`m a big fan of Ellen, so I`m going to say Ellen on this one.
HAMMER: All right. Listen to this because Dr. Oz and Ellen are about to have some more competition for daytime viewers. Katie Couric is launching her chat fest in September. And wait until you hear what she has to say about Snooki.
Plus, another legendary talk show host is making a triumphant return, and that`s in "The Buzz Today."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over) The return of the fist-pump?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Arsenio Hall.
(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)
HAMMER: Fresh off his "Celebrity Apprentice" win, Arsenio Hall might be continuing his winning streak with a brand-new show.
According to "The Hollywood Reporter," Arsenio Hall is in talks to launch a syndicated talk show. Hall hosted the "Arsenio Hall Show" from 1989 to 1994.
Katie`s gym tan Snooki diss. Don`t expect Katie Couric to sit down with the cast of "Jersey Shore" anytime soon.
While promoting the talk show, "Katie," Couric told reporters that while she thinks Snooki is cute and interesting, she would rather talk to the likes of Amanda Knox and Kate Middleton.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
Add to that mix of brand-new talk show wars, reality star, Bethenny Frankel, who`s betting that women will relate to her real life success story. And talk show vet, Ricki Lake - she`s getting back in the game.
The gloves are off, I tell you, for TV talk domination. Back with me, Bill Bellamy and Kim Serafin. So the rookie contender in the talk show war, Bethenny Frankel, may have a tough time keeping up with the TV vets like Arsenio or Katie or even Ricki Lake.
But it`s stopping her at all. Frankel has TV talk powerhouse Ellen DeGeneres behind her new show. Bethenny just shared a first look of her new show on "Ellen." Oh, that`s a nice gig to have. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BETHENNY FRANKEL, TV TALK SHOW HOST: The show is going to about what I talk it to my girlfriends about having a cocktail. I mean, everything from sex to marriage to breastfeeding to, you know, body issues.
And there will be celebrity guests, but I want it to be celebrity guests that, you know, I`m either a fan of or they`ve been part of my life or, you know, just somebody that I have some interest in. It doesn`t have to be the biggest celebrity in the entire world -
ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Right.
FRANKEL: Present company excluded, because when you come on, it will be the biggest celebrity in the entire world.
DEGENERES: In the world. In the entire world.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) Bethenny is betting on this cocktail conversation type style that she has with her girlfriends to fuel the topics for her show. And Bill, she`s got Ellen in her corner. So maybe she`s on to something here. I mean, come on.
BELLAMY: How do you move? I mean, when you have a producer like Ellen behind you, you`re going to get a good opportunity to be successful. They`re going to keep it on TV long enough for people to watch it.
See, that`s the thing that people don`t realize is like when you get a show, you want people to check you out. And you need enough time for the word to get out for people to start to like you.
I mean, look at Ellen`s show. It just got better and better and better. Now, she`s killing it.
HAMMER: Yes. She`s really on top of the game. And then, look who you also have coming back. Bethenny up against TV pro, Katie Couric. And now, Katie is revealing, by the way, the one guest she doesn`t want on her show. "Jersey Shore" star, Snooki -
BELLAMY: No.
HAMMER: Should not count on an invite to Katie`s new daytime talk show. Katie said, yes, Snooki is cute but she`d rather go for big newsmakers like Kate Middleton.
Kim Serafin, let me ask you. Is it a mistake for Katie Couric to rule out reality TV`s big stars like Snooki? They are a part of pop culture in the world.
BELLAMY: You`ve got to have Snooki. That`s Jersey, baby.
SERAFIN: Yes. I think she shouldn`t rule out anyone at all. But you know, I was actually just watching Katie last night on the "Jubilee Queen Special" she did. And you just remember why she`s so likeable, why people love her.
She was really cute and giddy about meeting the queen. She didn`t know if she should curtsy when she met her. She did curtsy. But she was like all of us.
She`s very relatable, very funny. So I`m really excited to see her show. I think this is how people love Katie, want to see her.
And I think she will take that place of Oprah as a go-to interview when a celebrity wants to do that apology interview or the interview when they haven`t been seen for a long time or after something bad has happened. I think Katie is going to be the one that people go to for that.
HAMMER: And then, you have Arsenio Hall. He just won the season of "Celebrity Apprentice."
BELLAMY: Yes.
HAMMER: And he`s making his way back to having his own show on television. Watch what he just told the ladies of "The View" about that.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HALL: I hosted for Piers Morgan on CNN, and I was interviewing Cookie Johnson and Magic Johnson. We were talking about the foundation and "The Apprentice" and him buying the Dodgers.
And there was a moment where it was like seeing an old girlfriend who I love. I want a talk show again.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You need a talk show again.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: OK. Bill, I`m putting you on the spot. Arsenio, Katie, Bethenny - who`s going to win the TV talk show war?
BELLAMY: Well, Arsenio has all the pedigree, but Katie Couric is - I don`t know. I`m going to go with Arsenio. You come off "Celebrity Apprentice." People miss him. He`s probably going to come back so much bigger and fun.
HAMMER: He`s got the momentum.
BELLAMY: Yes. He`s got the momentum right now. But if I had to pick a second place winner, I think Katie Couric.
HAMMER: All right. I just have time for the name. Kim Serafin?
SERAFIN: I`m going to say Katie. I love Arsenio, but I love Katie.
HAMMER: All right. There you go. I say Bill Bellamy and Kim Serafin. You win tonight.
BELLAMY: Yes. Come on. Let`s go, girl!

Plus, Tori Spelling bares her baby bump. Oh, boy. Brand-new pictures of Tori in her mamakini. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask - is it super sexy or just too much? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Well, she may have the most famous aunt in the world, but this little girl just likes spending time poolside with her mom. These are brand-new pictures of Jamie Lynn Spears with her adorable daughter, Maddie, who is turning four next month.
Britney`s 21-year-old sister made headlines when she had Maddie at 17 and has spent the last few years raising her daughter away from the spotlight. Wow, how time flies.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. And tonight, introducing Maxwell. Jessica Simpson`s beautiful baby girl is making her debut to the world on the cover of the brand-new issue of "People" magazine.
Take a look at this. Maxwell Drew Johnson, born on May 1st to her very proud parents, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.
With me from Hollywood with all the details on Maxwell`s arrival is senior writer for "People," Jen Garcia.
So Jen, these pictures of Jessica and baby Maxwell are truly beautiful. I want to know, though, how things are truly going for these brand-new parents.
JEN GARCIA, SENIOR WRITER, "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: You know what? It`s a whole new world for both of them, but it`s something that they`re settling into just fine.
I mean, that trademark ditsy-ness that Jessica Simpson was known for is not found anywhere. I mean, she`s totally focused and she`s happier than she`s ever been. She was totally glowing.
HAMMER: Everybody says it flips a switch. And yes, you see from the pictures Jessica is glowing in the photos.
GARCIA: Yes.
HAMMER: This is it for her as far as you know? We haven`t seen her happier?
GARCIA: No, we haven`t seen her happier. I mean, the two of them just looked so content. This has completely brought them closer.
And you know, they expect to get married by the end of this year is what they`re hoping. And she tells us that little baby Maxwell isn`t it, that they`re really hoping to add to their family sooner than later.
HAMMER: Wow. All right. Well, listen, there was something that was going on while she was pregnant, all this talk about her weight gain. And I thought it was so completely unfair. You just don`t make fun of anybody -
GARCIA: I know.
HAMMER: You shouldn`t make fun of anybody`s weight, period, let alone a pregnant woman`s weight. And now that she`s had the baby and she`s got this deal with Weight Watchers, does she seem to be concerned about losing the baby weight?
GARCIA: You know what? She doesn`t seem concerned. I mean, the baby was huge. She had a C-section and she is not allowed to do physical activity yet.
I mean, she doesn`t care what her hair looks like, if her gut is hanging out. But when the time comes, she will be focused. And she`s already started eating healthy. She`s juicing.
She`s liking things like vegetables and shrimp. And she will definitely be focused on fitting back into her jeans.
HAMMER: Yes. As long as she`s healthy and it looks like she is and happy as well, what`s more important than that? All right. Jen Garcia, thank you so much. The new issue of "People" magazine will be on newsstands this Friday.
Well, the baby bonanza continues now with Tori Spelling`s baby bump. Everybody is buzzing about this brand-new picture. Wow. Look at that. You just don`t see it every day.
It`s a very pregnant tori showing off her growing belly. Tori is sporting a sexy black crocheted monokini that really leaves little to the imagination. So what do you think? Is Tori baring too much?
With me in New York, Emmy Award winning actress, Jackee, who is now starring in the just-released DVD movie, "Brother White."
And actress Sara Rue who is now teaming up with Milk Bone for a great project. It`s National Trails Day to encourage people to get out and exercise with your dogs. You and the dogs. You need your exercise.
OK. So here, we have Tori Spelling, ladies, pregnant now with her next baby. This is baby number four. She does look great. I mean, she looks very healthy.
But a lot of people were taken aback by this photo. So let me throw to you our SHOWBIZ flashpoint - is Tori super-sexy or showing way too much? Jackee, I cannot wait to hear what you have to say about this.
JACKEE: Well, now that I`ve seen it really twice and thrice, I just wonder if that`s her head on top of that body. That`s what I`m wondering, even though they do - anyway.
HAMMER: You say Photoshopped?
JACKEE: Yes, Photoshopped. I don`t know. But I don`t really care. Does is that sound mean?
HAMMER: It doesn`t sound mean. You know, the thing is a lot of people are saying, OK, you`re having your picture taken. She likes being in the magazines. We know that. But let`s get Sarah`s take on this. I mean, do you think it`s too much?
SARA RUE, ACTRESS: Was that a planned photo shoot?
JACKEE: Right.
RUE: Or was she hanging out at her pool? Because if she`s hanging out at her pool, that`s fine. And you know what? Frankly, I`m going on the record in saying that`s fine if it`s a planned photo shoot. I think she looks amazing frankly. But I don`t know. Maybe she didn`t plan it.
HAMMER: Yes. But the thing is, if you`re Tori Spelling, you know you`re going to be photographed. So you know, if you`re wearing this particular thing, I mean, what do you think of that monokini? Let`s talk about the fashion, Jackee.
JACKEE: I like it from the top from here up. I don`t like her thighs.
HAMMER: Would you wear it while pregnant?
JACKEE: I wouldn`t wear that alone.
HAMMER: In your room with nobody there?
JACKEE: No. I would run past the mirror. I would black out the mirrors. But I like it from here up. I think her thighs are not ready yet.
HAMMER: So you don`t think this is going to start a crazy monokini fashion trend?
JACKEE: I don`t think so. But I think there`s some sexy-looking pregnant women there, some very sexy-looking -
HAMMER: No question about that. All right. Sarah, I`ve got to throw it to you. Could we ever see you as a pregnant woman perhaps wearing an outfit like that?
RUE: Me personally?
HAMMER: Yes.
RUE: No, but I won`t look that good pregnant. I know it. I`m going to be pregnant in my butt. I can feel it. It`s going to happen.
HAMMER: Now, let me ask you this. I don`t care, Jackee. This is, you know, your take on this. But let me ask you if you think she at least deserves some credit for pulling it off? I mean, because she does - she had the confidence to go out and do it? No?
JACKEE: I`m just - I`ve known her - I don`t know her at all. I`ve never met her. I`ve met her father, and I`ve always had problems because Tori just keeps metamorphosizes(ph).
HAMMER: She`s changing.
JACKEE: I don`t know. She just keeps going through it.
HAMMER: Not working for you?
JACKEE: There`s got to be a new word.
HAMMER: OK.
JACKEE: Yes. I just want her to act. I would like to see her become an actress and stop just being a - I don`t know - like a reality show person.
HAMMER: OK. Well, let me say this. I think it is safe to say that Kate Middleton won`t be sporting a monokini like that anytime soon.
She sure does love wearing this pink dress which, believe it or not, she`s actually worn more than once. So should the woman, who may be queen one day, actually be recycling an outfit? Hold your thoughts. We`re getting to that next.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: I am back with two very funny actresses, Jackee and Sara Rue. And I could hardly believe the royal mania over Kate Middleton wearing the same pink dress twice. How dare she?
I mean, she first wore this $2,000 a couple of weeks back. She wore it to the queen`s jubilee luncheon, then again, yesterday, to a party at Buckingham Palace.
So let me get right to our SHOWBIZ flashpoint - was Kate`s recycled dress fashion forward or a royal no-no? Jackee?
JACKEE: You know she`s following in Princess Diana`s steps. Remember that white dress that Diana used to wear? It`s a beautiful, off-the-shoulder white full-length gown. She wore it, what, four times. It was always gorgeous.
This woman is gorgeous. She can wear whatever she wants two and three times. But it`s politically correct as well, because times are hard. And it looks like she`s trying to keep up with the people. You know, she`s not all of that and a bag of chips.
HAMMER: It`s not like she has to show for years on end that she will never show up in the same thing twice. Is that how you feel, Sara?
RUE: Yes. Oh, I totally agree. And in fact, I heard about this, and I was like that`s so good because I have so many dresses in any closet I would like to wear again.
(CROSS TALK)
HAMMER: you can`t do it on the red carpet. Isn`t that funny - isn`t that funny that a princess can literally show up, you know, within a short order of time, and you guys on the red carpet can`t?
RUE: And then look at the magazine like, "Oh, look who loves this purse. Look who loves this dress."
JACKEE: But we can borrow clothes.
HAMMER: Kind of makes her more relatable for sure.
JACKEE: It does. It does.
RUE: It really does.
JACKEE: And accessible.
RUE: Yes.
HAMMER: Jackee, I have to talk about your new movie, "Brother White," with my good friend, BeBe Winans. I`m so excited. I love that you did this project together with him. It is called "Brother White," and we`re going to take a look at it right now. Roll it, Charles.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JACKEE: This is what happens when the great white knight sticks his nose where it doesn`t belong.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Aw! She`s right. I`m going to have to learn to fit in if I`m going to have a future here.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Are you OK?
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I`m all right, thanks.
JACKEE: I see a future for you in traction.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: In traction. Perfect. I mean, as long as we`ve known you, I don`t think anybody delivers one-liners quite like you. What is this film about?
JACKEE: It`s about a white pastor who goes to south central L.A. and becomes a pastor in a black church. And the actor you just saw, he wrote it and he actually lived with a family. He`s a Mennonite.
You know what that is? It`s a step above Amish. And he moved to south of L.A. for two-and-a-half years with an African-American family.
So it`s based on a real story. That`s why I wanted to do it. I was with the GMC Network, and they said, "We want you to do a project." And it took five years for them to find something wholesome and uplifting, if you will, you know.
HAMMER: Perfect and funny. And again, working with the great BeBe Winans. Good for you.
JACKEE: Yes.
HAMMER: Thank you so much. So great to have you both of you here, Jackee, Sara Rue. And make sure you check out Jackee`s film, "Brother White." It is now out on DVD. Go pick that up.
Sara Rue is teaming up with Milk Bone for National Trails Day. It`s a great cause getting people out to exercise with their dogs. And make sure you check out Sara in a brand-new show coming to ABC this fall called "Malibu Country."
Moving on now to drama mama. Lindsay Lohan - I`m sure she`s a drama queen - rehab, alleged shoplifting and drunk-driving. But is her mom all about the drama, too? Coming up next, the brand-new reality show that is putting the spotlight on Lindsay`s mom.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Tonight, the drama mama. I`m talking about Lindsay Lohan`s mom, Dina. Dina Lohan is starring in a new reality show called "Drama Mamas."
That`s right. The woman behind Lindsay`s wildly erratic career is going to tell other moms how to make their kids famous.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner is in Hollywood to fill us in. What is this show all about?
TURNER: A.J., here`s the deal. Dina Lohan is producing and starring in a new show about stage moms in New York. It follows a musical headed to Broadway and it shows off a bunch of talented young kids.
Now, Dina`s role is to mentor the kids along the way and to keep their super-ambitious moms in check. So A.J., I`m thinking that is sure a good recipe for some on-screen drama, right?
But is Dina really the best person to be giving some advice here? I mean, I`ll just say it. Lindsay isn`t exactly a model of good Hollywood behavior, right?
HAMMER: No. And Dina Lohan is definitely a high profile mommager to be sure. But Lindsay has been seriously struggling to get roles for years now. I think that`s really Lindsay`s own fault.
She`s the one who`s out there partying. Still, you`ve got to wonder about the choice. And Nischelle, I understand Dina is also going to be on another reality show?
TURNER: Absolutely, A.J. She`s going to appear on a new reality show about famous Hollywood ex-wives. Now, the show spotlights the exes of Will Smith, Prince and Eddie Murphy. And it turns out Dina Lohan is friends with some of the cast members, so she`s going to tag along on some episodes. There you go.
HAMMER: She`s going to be in the spotlight all summer. Oh, joy. Thanks, Nischelle. And another reality star, Kendra Wilkinson, is opening up big- time tonight.
The 26-year-old former "Playboy" playmate is right in the middle of taping her hot reality show "Kendra on Top." And she`s spilling all the secrets about her relationship with her NFL playing husband, Hank Baskett.
Get this - she`s talking about their super-charged sex life. Yes, Kendra is famous for putting it all out there for the cameras. And tonight, you`re going to find out how Kendra is keeping the spark alive in her marriage and how she`s keeping cheating at bay.
Dr. Drew has that revealing interview right now.
