Aired June 05, 2012 - 23:00 ET
THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.
A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight "Teen Mom" tragedy. The struggling "Teen Mom" star asks to go to prison instead of completing rehab.
So why did she beg a judge to put her behind bars? What will happen to her three-year-old girl now that she is heading to prison? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT starts right now.
(MUSIC)
Hello. I am A.J. Hammer. Tonight, worried for Gaga? Lady Gaga is at the top of her game, selling out her worldwide tour, topping 24 million Twitter followers.
But tonight her close friend, superstar Elton John says he is worried about Gaga.
First though, it`s a "Teen Mom" tragedy. Troubled reality star, Amber Portwood, is headed to prison once again, this time on drug charges.
But the big shocker in this chapter of her saga, she actually asked the judge in her case to lock her up instead of sending her straight to rehab. But why?
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over) This is how most people know Amber Portwood.
AMBER PORTWOOD, REALITY TV STAR: I wish I was bigger than you (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
HAMMER: Viciously attacking Gary Shirley, the father of her young daughter, three-year-old, Leah, in front of cameras on the MTV reality show "Teen Mom".
PORTWOOD: I am at the edge. Do you want to (UNINTELLIGIBLE) face?
HAMMER: Now, Amber Portwood`s roller coaster ride of reality TV fame, drug problems and multiple arrests has reached a tragic conclusion.
ALEXIS TERESZCUK, ENTERTAINMENT EDITOR, "RADAR ONLINE": Troubled "Teen Mom" has been sentenced to five years in jail.
HAMMER: Today, a Madison County, Indiana judge ordered her to complete a five-year prison sentence she got for the December arrest for drug possession.
A prosecutor tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Amber had violated her probation by failing a urine test and then lying about it. As a result, she is expected to be locked up for half of that five-year sentence before being released on parole.
TERESZCUK: This is heartbreaking that Amber has had to go this route.
HAMMER: "Radar`s" Alexis Tereszcuk tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the one thing more shocking than Amber`s long sentence is that she asked for it, saying she couldn`t handle the court-ordered rehab.
TERESZCUK: She just has not been able to stay clean. This maybe is the only way that she is finally going to get some help.
HAMMER: From reality and tabloid fame to prison, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has the latest on this "Teen Mom" tragedy.
TERESZCUK: It has been nothing but trouble for her ever since she got on the show.
HAMMER: Amber and Gary were one of the couples featured MTV`s reality show, "Teen Mom".
PORTWOOD: You want make up on, you come to mommy.
HAMMER: Debuting in 2009 it shows young moms like Amber dealing with the pressures of raising a child.
PORTWOOD: Somebody has to be an adult.
HAMMER: But on more than one occasion for Amber and Gary, the pressure has boiled over into violence.
PORTWOOD: Don`t you ever (EXPLETIVE DELETED) come here again, you fat piece of (EXPLETIVE DELETED).
GARY SHIRLEY, REALITY TV STAR: I don`t plan on it.
HAMMER: In a disturbing 2010 episode, Amber was seen viciously and repeatedly beating and kicking Gary.
PORTWOOD: You`re trash.
HAMMER: And in another incident, we actually saw Amber choking and assaulting Gary in front of her family including their then one-year-old daughter.
PORTWOOD: Let me (EXPLETIVE DELETED) tell you something. You don`t (EXPLETIVE DELETED) talk to my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) dad like that. You hear me? You apologize to him.
HAMMER: The scenes were so vicious they caught the attention of local prosecutors.
TERESZCUK: Following this incident, Amber was charged with domestic battery. She worked out a plea deal.
HAMMER: More troubles followed, drug problems, a reported suicide attempt and Amber lost custody of her little daughter.
TERESZCUK: Being so famous so quickly definitely caused problems for Amber.
HAMMER: Amber is not the only "Teen Mom" to have troubles.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I could punch you in your (EXPLETIVE DELETED) face right now.
HAMMER: Janelle Evans also has been a tabloid fixture for drug problems and multiple arrests. As a result, MTV has been slammed repeatedly for taking troubled teens like Evans and Portwood and making them TV stars and gossip fodder.
TERESZCUK: The critics and viewers are so anti "Teen Mom". They say it glamourizes teen pregnancy, that it shows these girls at their worst. Teen pregnancy rates have actually dropped.
So while these few girls seem to have absolutely terrible lives that are caught on camera, across the nation, maybe it is sinking in to young people that being a teen mom is not the way to go.
HAMMER: Whether "Teen Mom," now in its final season, is actually having a good effect on teen pregnancy is anybody`s guess. But one thing is clear. It is hard to see how it helped Amber.
TERESZCUK: She is not going to be a mother to her daughter. She is going to be in jail. She is leaving everything behind. It is really tragic.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: Tragic for Amber and really so tragic for her three-year-old daughter, Leah. With me in New York, Midwin Charles is a criminal defense attorney from Hollywood, and Wendy Walsh is a psychologist and expert for the site DatingAdvice.com.
So like we know, Amber is now being in and out of the court system a couple times for domestic battery and drug possession. And now, she has asked the judge to throw her in prison instead of rehab.
And I`ve got to tell you that seems shocking to me. Midwin, how common is it for a defendant to make that kind of a request?
MIDWIN CHARLES, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Oh, it is rare. I`m going to tell you that. I mean, when you have a defendant facing jail time as opposed to doing anything else, usually they`re going to do anything else.
I think this just shows you how troubled this young woman is, the fact she would choose jail over a court-ordered program to help her deal with her problems.
And it also shows a level of selfishness because if she goes away to jail, who`s going to take care of her little girl?
HAMMER: Well, I have the answer to that and I`ll tell you in a moment. It is confounding to me and the judge reportedly requested that Amber be put in prison rehab in their program, there behind bars.
Amber, I would have to believe, would be desperate to get clean. But Wendy what has to be going through her mind as far as you think to choose prison over rehab?
WENDY WALSH, PSYCHOLOGIST: Well, this may very well save her life. This may be a life-and-death decision for her because we know that addiction is debilitating, and clearly she knows she can`t handle this one alone.
It is tragic, tragic for the daughter, though, A.J. My heart goes out to her.
HAMMER: But Wendy do you think she can get clean in prison? Do you think that is a better alternative for her?
WALSH: I always go back to my favorite example, Robert Downey, Jr. It is possible. And sometimes the court has to act as a parent. The court has to re-parent young adults who have lost control and lost boundaries and the ability to self-regulate themselves and drugs will do that.
HAMMER: It is just so sad. And yes, we`re talking about the fact that her three-year-old daughter, Leah, is now going to be without mom while mom is in prison rather than rehab.
But to answer your question, Midwin, she is reportedly going to be taken care of by her dad, Gary Shirley. She already lost custody. So knowing that, do you imagine that her daughter will be able to visit her mom in prison just like any child of a prisoner would, I imagine?
CHARLES: I don`t see why not. I mean, oftentimes, children of incarcerated defendants do have the opportunity to visit their parents.
Usually, obviously, they`re going to do it with an adult, with someone who cares for the child, who can explain, "Here is why we`re going to see mommy and daddy behind bars. Here is what it means. Don`t freak out."
HAMMER: Yes. Good luck. I mean, she is a young girl. Hopefully, she`s got some strong people around her. Wendi, how is this going to be affecting this little girl, her mom being absent because she is serving a prison sentence, not just because she is not around?
WALSH: This is huge, A.J. And I am telling you, this damage has probably already been done. This is a very vulnerable stage for a young child`s life as far as attachment injury is concerned.
My prediction is she`s going to have a hard time trusting relationships for the rest of her life. And if she doesn`t have consistent visitation with her mother during the next five years, she`s not even going to remember her mother because we have that early life amnesia that happens. It is tragic all around.
HAMMER: It is tragic all around. And obviously, it is a very complicated, layered situation. There is a whole lot going on here, Midwin. But how much, regardless of what else is going on, do you think reality TV fame played a part?
CHARLES: I knew you were going to ask that.
HAMMER: Well, because we talk about this all the time and we see families who already have issues go on reality TV and then life just implodes because of the added pressure and the added exposure. I have to imagine it further plays a part in what`s going on here.
CHARLES: Well, I wouldn`t be surprised if there was a reason why she is acting out in this way because she is involved in this TV show.
Oftentimes, reality programs - what they do is they encourage the people who are in the shows to kind of overdo it, to act out, because they know that that`s what gets the ratings. So I wouldn`t be surprised if part of that is related to her current behavior.
HAMMER: I mean, look at some of the behavior that we saw play out on the show, which is what got the prosecutors and the local authorities attention in the first place. It is just so, so sad. Midwin, Wendy, thank you both for chiming in here. I appreciate it.
HAMMER: We move on now to another embarrassing new video from the Kardashians. This one has got an F-bomb-laced rap. We`ve got Kim`s mom being spanked by her stepdad. Kim`s teen sisters, young women, booty shaking gangster style.
(MUSIC)
This is the brand-new video that has critics calling Kim`s mom irresponsible.
Plus, look at Lindsay Lohan`s incredible Elizabeth Taylor transformation here, taking on a new role about the Hollywood icon. I think she looks just like Liz. Is it enough to finally silence her critics?

HAMMER: Tonight, Samberg signs off. Andy Samberg is saying farewell to "Saturday Night Live" after seven seasons. And Andy just revealed to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT why it is the perfect time for him to say goodbye.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ANDY SAMBERG, COMEDIAN: We did the 100th digital short. And the shorts I did with my buddies, mostly, and they have moved on. And it is just kind of felt somewhere, cosmically, you know - I don`t know. I just woke up and at one point during the season and started feeling like it was headed that direction.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: He was the king of the "SNL" digital short. And now heading to London to star in a BBC sitcom. Also, tonight, Wilmer Valderrama`s suprising new bully confession.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Bullies, take that. Big stars who have been bullied have been speaking out about their own experiences. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There were times where we would be in the halls getting our books out of the lockers, and I will never forget a kid screamed down the hall and he said, "Your show sucks!" Just like that, out loud in front of all the kids.
And I said, "You know what? I am sick and tired of this. I am finally going to say something." And then I turned around and I said, "Well, the checks don`t."
KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: What do you think it is like for the kid who is scared and they hear Justin Bieber say, "It happened to me and there is help"?
JUSTIN BIEBER, POP STAR: You know, I think that it is about telling people, you know, if you`re bystander, to tell somebody because, a lot of times, it is just not spoken other than you ended up - you end up just keeping it all inside and then it is just hurts you even more.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, now, there is a brand-new campaign to literally stomp out bullying. And all the nerds are uniting. Former star of "That `70s Show," Wilmer Valderrama, is now a spokesperson for the new campaign by Wonka, the maker of Nerds candy. Wilmer, joining me from Hollywood. Great to see you as always, Wilmer.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
WILMER VALDERRAMA, ACTOR: Hey, nice to see you, brother. How have you been?
HAMMER: I`ve been great. And I have to tell you, I heard you were involved with this campaign. I have a hard time saying your name and "nerd" in the same sentence. I think a lot of people would agree with me.
But look, man, I think it is terrific that you`re the spokesperson for this anti-bullying campaign. Why was it important for you to get involved?
VALDERRAMA: It is really exciting. I tell you, man, I`ll beg to differ on that, man. I mean, I think it takes a big nerd to actually create Fez on "That 70s Show."
HAMMER: Well, there is that.
VALDERRAMA: There is that, you know. But you know what? I was very, very proud of this campaign, you know. It`s - for the last couple years, I have seen how this crisis, you know, has spread like a bad disease throughout the teens in America.
And I have seen a lot of the entertainment industry embrace a few formats and few ways of not just coping but trying to raise awareness. And it was not until I got together with Wonka and Stomp Out Bullying, which - we came up with a great campaign which is Nerds Unite.
And Nerds Unite basically it stands for individuality, you know, being original, being understanding that being different is actually a cool thing.
HAMMER: Yes.
VALDERRAMA: And I tell you, it is one of those situations I think that a lot of teens today - they just need permission to be themselves.
I think society and the media and the whole entertainment industry has dictated this imagery of what cool is and what hip is and, you know, what the in thing is today and following trends.
So you know, it is important that, right now, we basically look at the teens and we go, "Hey, man. It is OK to be yourself. It is OK to have different views. It is OK to have different interests."
And that`s where we live, you know. We live in a place now where we need to empower them to be themselves in order to create a different nation.
HAMMER: And I know for you, and I think this would surprise a lot of people, you actually got bully and had hassled when you first moved to this country because, quite frankly, you couldn`t speak the language.
VALDERRAMA: That`s exactly right. That`s why I think it was so important for me to join this movement, you know. I thought, you know, when I first came to the United States and I didn`t know how to speak English - once I learned how to speak English, then I had an accent.
And even then, it was even harder because when you have an accent and you`re 14 years old, you know, that small community - somehow they think about, well, you`re dumb. You`re not smart.
HAMMER: Yes.
VALDERRAMA: And it was not until I was able to embrace my individuality and the ability to be different and remembering my roots that I was able to stand my ground and say, "Hey, you know what? I`m allowed to have different views. I am allowed to be different."
HAMMER: Yes. And that`s why you`re such a great role model for this and I am so glad you`re doing it. Wilmer, it is always great to see you.
And for more information on Wilmer`s new campaign, make sure you go to Facebook.com/Wonka. Thank you so much. We move on now to the outrageous new home video from the Kardashians.
(MUSIC)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Listen to me, please. You have to stop it.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: We`re not stopping anything, Shaun. We`re going home.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Take a look at this magical pic. Supermodel Bar Rafaeli just tweeted this photo of herself celebrating her 27th birthday. It looks like everything truly is coming up rainbows for her.
Bar also tweeted out a thank you to all of her fans who wished her a happy birthday. Bar looks amazing in the picture.
But tonight, things may not be looking so hot for Lady Gaga. In a brand- new interview that was revealed today, Gaga`s superstar friend, Elton John says, he is worried about Lady Gaga`s health.
I want to bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner from Hollywood. Nischelle, I know you are all over story. Why is Elton John so worried about Lady Gaga?
NISCHELLE TURNER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Well, you know what, A.J.? We all know that Elton John can be a diva at times and say some things to ruffle some feathers.
But in this case I don`t think he is taking a slam at Lady Gaga at all. I really think that he is concerned about her as a friend and what he says is he is concerned about her health.
He is kind of concerned about her weight. He released - you know, he did an interview just about kind of all things that he is doing right now.
And one of the things he said about Lady Gaga is, quote, "She is frail and she doesn`t eat when she should do. And she is a girl and it is tougher for a girl. She really works hard."
You know, he said he talked to her parents about this, that she is very thin. She doesn`t take time for herself, so that`s why he is concerned. He is just concerned that she`s going to work herself into the ground, basically.
HAMMER: Yes, which is something we see from so many stars, particularly when they don`t want to stop in the heat of everything that`s going so well for them.
TURNER: Yes.
HAMMER: There are more music star revelations we`ve got to get to tonight. Our friends at "People" magazine are out with this incredibly personal look at country stars Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw in a brand-new all country issue.
It`s going to be on newsstands on Friday. And Nischelle, I know these guys have been as close as like brothers for more than 20 years, haven`t they?
TURNER: Yes. They are BFFs in the good old boy country way. They love each other. They have been best friends for about 20 years, A.J., or longer.
You know, they went on tour together about 10 years ago, but they haven`t shared the stage since then. And so they`re going back on tour together for the "Brothers of the Sun" tour, a 22-city tour, a very big deal.
And they`re so excited about this. You know, they say they have grown up a little bit. But they remember when they met back in a diner in 1991.
And Ken Chesney was talking about how he was so excited to meet Tim McGraw because Tim had this record deal and Kenny didn`t yet. So it is going to be a lot of fun for them on this tour.
HAMMER: Thanks so much, Nischelle. And you must check out the special country music issue of "People" magazine everywhere on Friday.
Now, the SHOWBIZ lineup at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Lindsay as Elizabeth. Astonishing new pictures of Lindsay Lohan`s transformation into Liz Taylor. It`s all for a new move about the Hollywood legend. Will this film finally silence her critics?
Plus, Jenifer Aniston has a panda -
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JENNIFER ANISTON, ACTRESS: Oh, god.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Jen`s big spoof on dating shows goes viral. Don`t worry. We`ll explain the whole panda suit. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HLN`s new "EVENING EXPRESS" is here - parenting, education, health. Ryan Smith, Clark Howard and Isha Sesay have you covered every weeknight - "EVENING EXPRESS," 5:00 to 7:00 Eastern.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Booty shaking, bikinis and Biggie(ph). It is jaw-dropping Kardashian family lip-dub that is sparking major outrage tonight.
(MUSIC)
OK. Tonight the hot debate, is this just good family fun or fame- hungry shame?
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative, entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you for watching. Are you normal? I am sure you have asked yourself that question at one time or another. I ask it of myself every day.
Maybe have you seen something that totally blows your mind and you thought, is that normal? Well, now, there is a very cool brand-new show that just premiered on OWN and asks those very questions. Take a look now at "Are You Normal, America?"
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You guys have locked in it is normal to leave a tip for housekeeping. Kim, what do you do?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Sometimes I do leave a tip, especially if I want extra toiletries.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Look, how normal.
(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, I have so done that.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She is pushing the cart on the hallway (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. I go, "Sweetie, come here for a second." I am always afraid they`re going to see me taking from the cart so I call them and say, "Here is money and give me all that lotion, all that shampoo."
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Nice. It was an awful lot of fun. So we decided to stick with the theme tonight and ask the stars who are with us today what`s normal in the celebrity world?
With me in New York, the co-host of "Are You Normal, America?" on OWN, the very funny actress, Kim Coles. Joining us from Hollywood, the great actor, Wilmer Valderamma, who is also the new Nerds spokesperson for Wonka`s terrific anti-bullying campaign. Excellent to have you both here. Kim, great to see you again.
KIM COLES, ACTRESS: Thanks for having me back.
HAMMER: Well, I love this show that you`re doing because the concept really makes so much sense. Are you normal? I mean, we all ask it of ourselves and the things we see.
COLES: We do. This is the segment that used to be on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on an off-and-on basis. And she decided to expand it out into a game show.
And so Barry Poznick, who is the host of the show, who is a game show producer, stretched it out made it this amazing game show, "Are You Normal, America?"
It`s the most amazing sociology experiment. You get to check in. Is it normal to pee in a pool? Is it normal to lie to your mother to get off the phone? Is it normal to - thing, thing.
HAMMER: Yes. Yes.
COLES: Is it normal to go three days without taking a shower?
HAMMER: By the way, I didn`t just say, yes, it`s normal to pee in a pool.
(CROSS TALK)
OK. Well, we here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - we thought that we would come up with our own version of this show. And I know at times that celebrity world - it seems wacky. It doesn`t seem very normal at all to the rest of us.
So we`re going to go deep. We`re going to take a look at a few stories in the news today and decide, with your help, Kim, Wilmer, if these stories are, in fact, normal.
Let`s start with the amazing Betty White, shall we? Just yesterday, the former Golden Girl was at the unveiling of her wax figure in Hollywood. Look at that. That`s amazing.
She is 90 years old right now, or 90 years young, I should say. That makes her the oldest celebrity ever honored with a wax figure at Madam Tussaud`s Wax Museum.
And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, as you see, was right there. So let`s listen to what the great Betty thought of her likeness.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BETTY WHITE, COMEDIAN: You know, the only thing that hurts me - why did they wait to do this until I was 90? I mean, a few decades ago would have been swell. Look, snap out of it.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I think she is terrific. She has such a great sense of humor. But I have to say the wax figure really looks exactly like Betty.
So that leads me to the first question, is it normal that we really can`t tell the difference between Betty White and her wax figure? Kim?
COLES: I think that it is great we can`t tell the difference. It means that the Tussaud people did a great job, you know what I`m saying? I love that she is getting this now before she is gone, you know what I`m saying?
HAMMER: Wilmer?
VALDERRAMA: Well, I would say - I mean, do you think it is normal that, for so many decades, Betty White has looked just as amazing and almost the same age?
HAMMER: Well, here is my question then. Would you, Kim, ever want to have a wax figure done of yourself?
COLES: I hope so and I hope they make it look thinner, younger, fresher and foxier than me - just a little bit. Just a little bit.
HAMMER: Well, Wilmer, I have to imagine they have approached you about doing one of these of you.
VALDERRAMA: You know, I did - I mean, there is always a conversation and all of that stuff. I think those honors, you know, really should come to a seasoned veteran, you know, like - I think I still have a lot to go before I accept an honor like that.
But you know, I think she really deserves to be immortalized in a staple of comedy and such a strong image of a strong, you know, committed woman. There are very few of them in the business.
COLES: I just want to say if they don`t make one for me, I`m just going to burn a bunch of candles in my house, burn it down and make my own.
HAMMER: Yes. That could work very well. And Wilmer, please, you know, do not diminish your seasoned-ness. I mean, you have been working more than half your life. Come on, man. I mean, seriously.
Next up, let`s move onto Kate versus Kim, because we already know that royal wife, Kate Middleton, is not afraid to wear a dress more than once as where we recently saw.
What about wearing a dress after Kim Kardashian wore it first? Well, the Duchess of Cambridge dazzled in an Alexander McQueen dress for the queen`s jubilee pageant on Sunday.
But we thought that dress looked really familiar to us, and that`s for a good reason. The queen of reality TV, Kim Kardashian, wore the very same dress last August.
While the dress looked demure on the royal and sexy on the Kardashian, we still have to ask, is it normal for Kate Middleton, of all people, to wear the same dress as Kim Kardasahian did. And Kim Coles, I will ask you first.
COLES: I would say would it be normal for her to have it dry cleaned before she put it on? That would be what I would ask.
HAMMER: Yes. I guess so. Wilmer, I`ve got to tell you. I don`t know that - you know, you`re a stylish individual. Would you actually wear something that, I don`t know, one of the princes wore first?
VALDERRAMA: I mean, it would be an honor. It would be an honor if I were to wear the same dress as they do.
HAMMER: OK. I don`t know. It is all very silly.
VALDERRAMA: You know what? To be honest, I think when it comes to that dress, it really is all about how they wear it. It seemed to be, by the pictures, that they both wear it very differently. They almost look like two different dresses on two different people, you know.
HAMMER: That`s true. And we have seen in the magazines, that column, "Who Wears It Better?" In this case, I think they both wore it great. So maybe it is normal, as we`re asking today - is it normal?
COLES: Is it normal? I just want to go back to the dress for a second.
HAMMER: Let`s go back Charles. May we see the dress again?
COLES: Do you know how many tailors had to work so hard to change the pleat? You know, she had that pleat taken all the way up.
HAMMER: Right.
COLES: Somebody sat up all night long making that hem for Kim Kardashian. That`s not normal.
HAMMER: You think that only took one night?
COLES: Thank you. Exactly.
HAMMER: You know, let`s call it like it is. Well, we all know how much the stars like to tweet and post pictures of themselves. Ryan Seacrest is no different. He`s out there on the Twitter all the time.
And he recently posted pictures of himself on Instagram with big celebrities like Justin Bieber and Carrie Underwood. But the latest Instagram picture that he posted was this, his lunch.
That got us wondering. Is it normal for Ryan Seacrest to Instagram a photo of a salad? Wilmer?
VALDERRAMA: You know, to be honest, if you`re really proud about going green, I guess it would be. I don`t see the point though, actually.
(CROSS TALK)
HAMMER: I don`t know if you eat the McNuggets, but would you ever put something like that up on the Twitter or, you know, just post an occasional picture of your life, good enough?
VALDERRAMA: I think the coolest thing would be to take a picture and Twitter an Instagram picture of your guilty pleasure, right?
Like your cheat day. This is my cheat day and this is what I am eating today. That would be like a fun thing. But a salad is like, "Hey, look, I am eating healthy."
HAMMER: What would be the guilty pleasure be for you so you can share with us that it is, in fact, normal, even as a celebrity?
VALDERRAMA: It would be a double-double extra spread grilled onion In-and- Out burger.
HAMMER: All right there, the In-and-Out burger, very popular on the west coast. Have you ever overshared on the Twitter?
COLES: I know I have. I think people want to know. It is a social space, a social thing. I love that he tweeted his picture or Instagramed his picture. People do that all the time. It is so normal.
It is too much information sometimes, but that`s a lovely salad. Now, we know how he keeps himself looking so trim.
HAMMER: He did not tweet his underwear or post a picture of his underwear.
COLES: No. No.
HAMMER: So Wilmer made a great point.
COLES: And by the way, Wilmer, I like the In-and-Out, too, but mind is without the onions, without the extra sauce, but double, double no cheese and protein style. I`ve got you, brother.
VALDERRAMA: I don`t want to feel that guilty. That`s exactly what I do.
HAMMER: It`s like you were going to hide your pain, is it, Kim?
COLES: Double-double with no bread, no onions, no fun.
HAMMER: Is there another guilty pleasure?
(CROSS TALK)
VALDERRAMA: If you get it protein style, then you can fit in the dress like the duchess.
COLES: Thank you.
HAMMER: See, and Wilmer knows. I don`t know how he is (UNINTELLIGIBLE) on that, but he knows all. Kim, Wilmer, thank you both so much.
COLES: Thank you.
HAMMER: Make sure you check out Kim Coles on her new show, "Are You Normal, America?" Monday nights on OWN. And for more information on Wilmer`s great new campaign, you can go to Facebook.com/Wonka.
I am exhausted. Well, tonight, we have the outrageous booty-smacking, bikini-clad home video from the Kardashian clan you must see.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: I don`t know about this. Tonight, the hot debate, is this just good family fun or a little fame-hungry shame going on?

(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Oh, my. That is the rump-shaking, bikini-clad, lip-synching Kardashian clan in their music vacation video. It is a fun family tradition. But this year, did they actually cross the line?
Tonight, Kardashians under fire. Yes. Leave it to the Kardashians to actually set off a firestorm with a family vacation music video.
Now, this has become a family tradition of sorts for the Kardashians. They whip out the cameras. They do a little dance and lip-synch their way through the lyrics.
But with the youngest Kardashians joining in the fun this time around, some critics are saying the racy moves and the lyrics are just pushing the limits of good old-fashioned family values.
I want to bring in Bonnie Fuller, editor-in-chief of HollywoodLife.com. In Hollywood tonight, actor Sean Kanan, who is the star of "Bold and the Beautiful."
And Bonnie, I must begin with you because the Kardashian clan really set you off with this music video. You wrote a great article about it in HollywoodLife.com. Let`s take some of this full, Charles, can we?
(MUSIC)
You`ve got the cameras. You`ve got the bikinis. You have the entire family right there. Bonnie, is this really any different from anything we have ever come to know and expect from the Kardashians?
BONNIE FULLER, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM: It may not be something totally unexpected from the Kardashians, but they certainly have gone a step further.
I mean, they really are flaunting the sexuality of everybody, from Mama Kris Jenner who dirty dances, who bends over, who has her husband slap her behind, to their daughter, their youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie, who are only 14 and 16 years old.
HAMMER: Yes. That`s really the issue, though, I assume.
FULLER: Yes. Well, they`ve got 14 and 16-year-old girls shaking their booties, like that camera is zeroing right in. Should they be selling their young girls sexually like this?
HAMMER: Well, they`ll sell anything, but it does seem strange. Kris Jenner, as you mentioned, right there with the daughters shaking it up.
Sean, listen. From their vantage point, they`re having a good time. They just chose to release it to the world. Do you think that actually crossed the line this time around?
SEAN KANAN, ACTOR: You know, I think you hit the nail on the head, A.J. I think it is all OK when it is just the older members of the family. But when you start bringing in the young girls like that and, heck, when you throw each of them on a donkey, I think you`re - I`m going to go with you - crossing the line. That`s just me. I am a little bit of a prude.
HAMMER: It is really the donkey that really sort of knocks it out for you. OK, I understand it. Listen, we know the Kardashians have opened the door to just about every aspect of their private life when you think about it.
But Bonnie, I am guessing you would like to see Kris Jenner take the youngest kids out of things like this if they`re going to be released to the world.
You`re basically asking her to change her parenting style. And I think the horse has left the barn, if you know what I am saying.
KANAN: Or the donkey.
FULLER: It is never too late to have the horse go back in the barn. Young women, they will listen to their mother. I mean, their mother is their role model. It is up to her to - and their father - to provide discipline in the household.
And so really, what kind of discipline is there if they`re out shaking their booties together and their mother is encouraging it? But she can stop and she can put more value on, hey, instead of shaking your booty in a music video, how about preparing for college?
HAMMER: Yes. Well, that`s true. She can stop, but do you think she will? I guess that is really the question that it begs here.
But we move on now to Lindsay Lohan. Tonight, we`re getting our very first look at Lindsay as Liz Taylor. Lindsay is now all set to take on a starring role in the Lifetime movie about the Hollywood icon.
But can she pull it off? This is very, very important to her career. The answer may just be revealed in the first photos straight from the set of "Liz and Dick" as Lindsay channels the great Liz Taylor.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: OK. I`ve got to show you Lindsay Lohan as Liz Taylor. Take a look at this new photo that was just released for the set of Lifetime`s "Liz and Dick."
I`ve got to tell you, I think Lindsay just nails it here. And so far, Liz Taylor fans are loving the look. But of course, we`ve got to ask the question, is it enough to silence Lindsay`s many critics?
I want to bring back Bonnie Fuller and Sean Kanan. Let`s take a look at that photo. Let`s do it side by side this time, Charles, with Liz Taylor.
She really - I mean, it is pretty uncanny, pretty remarkably done. And of course, it is not all about the look, but I say good for her for pulling this off.
Sean, do you think as good as this looks to us it`s going to be enough to silence the critics?
KANAN: You know, A.J., actors wait all of their life for what we call the role, the one part that`s going to set them apart and really allow them to tap into every aspect of their ability.
Obviously, she has the look down. I mean, talent has never been a question with Lindsay Lohan. For me, she`s got loads of it.
It is whether or not she can keep it together in the face of now doing this large movie. I wish her the best because this is exactly what she may need to really bring her back to the top.
HAMMER: Yes. We can`t overstate what a big deal this is for Lindsay Lohan, the actress, to get a shot at reviving her career because we have not talked about her as an actress in so, so long.
And I agree with you, Sean. I think this seems to be a perfect fit for her. Do you think, Bonnie, that with this role, Lindsay Lohan could actually reinvent herself and once again endear to all of us as she did many years ago when she first got started in this business?
FULLER: Absolutely. Everyone likes a comeback. Lots of people are rooting for Lindsay, her fans. I think the movie center is rooting for Lindsay to make a comeback because she does have talent.
She was a troubled girl. She has overcome a lot to get this far. And you know, Liz Taylor was also troubled and also had addiction issues.
So she`s got a lot in common with Liz Taylor. And the vulnerability that Liz Taylor had. And she was also a child star. So I think Lindsay can really identify with this role. My bet is she`s going to nail it.
HAMMER: And you know what? I am sitting here thinking that the insurance company is probably hoping exactly the same thing. Look, a lot - no, let`s face it.
A lot is riding on this. It is not just Lindsay`s reputation but a lot of people put their neck on the line to put Lindsay in this role. Bonnie Fuller, Sean Kanan, thank you both. Great insight.
Well, Jennifer Aniston is looking for some burning love in a panda suit, and then she starts crying.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ANISTON: Oh, god.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Jen, has it really come to this? Well, this is a must-see viral video. I`m going to show you the whole thing, next.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: So an earworm makes its way to the White House. Carly Rae Jepsen`s addictive song, "Call Me Maybe," even has the leader of the free world humming along.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner joins me from Hollywood. This song - I don`t want to get it stuck in my head again, Nischelle.
But you have President Obama who killed it singing an Al Green classic earlier this year. And now this is apparently going viral, too?
TURNER: Yes, and I guess this time, you could say the president is reaching out to the youth vote, A.J. Watch this.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Well, the guys over at "Barack`s Dub" have done this a few times, Nischelle?
TURNER: Yes. Yes, they have. But you know what, A.J.? We have seen it over and over again. But it just never gets old for me. It really doesn`t.
And up next, here is what I want to show you. Jennifer Aniston is getting freaky with a panda for a viral video of her own.
"Burning Love" is a hilarious comedy series that spoofs "The Bachelor." Ben Stiller is the executive producer and he got a little help from a famous single lady to be part of this lineup. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Here, we have to let him hold this. If mark does not offer you a hose, you will be going home.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Mark, everything you like, I like and everything you don`t like, I don`t like.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dana, destiny. Tomorrow, please leave.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All the ladies were so beautiful in their own way, but some less beautiful to me, so I am going to let those ladies go home, because I can`t be bothered.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It hurts. I don`t want to die alone. What a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) idiot.
ANISTON: Oh, god. Maybe the bear suit wasn`t such a good idea.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
TURNER: I absolutely love this, A.J. I mean, come on. You`ve got to give it up for Jenifer Aniston`s comedic chops, too, right?
HAMMER: Well, yes. And granted we didn`t get to see a whole lot of her there, but she is so funny. And in my mind, doing what she does best, I want more Jen Aniston.
TURNER: Yes, I am with you. I am team Aniston all the way right now.
HAMMER: All right. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner, thank you so much. This was a lovely and comedic way to end our evening.
We shift gears now to the disturbing case that has become an international fascination. A Canadian porn star allegedly chopped up and ate his lover and videotaped it. He`s been arrested in Europe.
But what kind of person could do this? Were there signs of trouble? Tonight, Dr. Drew goes inside the mind of this accused killer. "DR. DREW" starts right now.
