A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight, the war for the White House may be over, but the fired-up Hollywood election face-offs continue. Trump versus Hollywood. Obama versus Bieber. So which battle is going to be No. 1 in the countdown of Hollywood election showdowns?

Hello and thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.

Tonight, thank goodness, the battle for the president is over. The nasty, long and sometimes bizarre multi-billion-dollar election officially came to a close with President Obama and Mitt Romney asking Americans to come together.

MITT ROMNEY (R), FORMER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: I so wish that I had been able to fulfill your hopes to lead the country in a different direction, but the nation chose another leader. And so Ann and I join with you to earnestly pray for him and this great nation.

BARACK OBAMA (D), PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: We are not as divided as our politics suggest. We`re not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red and blue states. We are, and forever will be, the United States of America.

HAMMER: Right on. Now, if you thought the election showdowns are done, well, I`m here to tell you, you`re sadly mistaken. Tonight, we are here to count down the top three new showdowns you`ve got to know about that have emerged out of the race for the White House.

Let`s get right to it. In at No. 3, President Obama`s Justin Bieber takedown. Oh, yes. Moments after we learned the outcome of the 2012 election, President Obama`s campaign tweeted this great picture with three simple words, "Four more years."

Now, the picture of the first couple reignited the Twitterverse last night, or early this morning, I should say, making it the most retweeted message of all time. It even beat out Justin Bieber`s record, after his tribute tweet to a young fan who died of cancer back in September.

Well, tonight I`ve got an all-star post-election panel joining me. From Hollywood, it`s Pat Lalama. She`s a correspondent for Investigation Discovery. Also in Hollywood, the great Jay Thomas. Jay is an actor, of course, and the host of the great "Jay Thomas Show" on Sirius XM satellite radio. In Philly, actress, activist and author Sheryl Lee Ralph. So great to have you all here.

So the president beats a Republican and a Canadian in one night. Sheryl, to you first. To a lot of fans of Justin Bieber, this may have actually been the bigger election showdown win.

SHERYL LEE RALPH, ACTRESS: Baby let me tell you something. You have to know what the picture looks like. He is just holding FLOTUS, First Lady of the United States, with that full-on body hug that I says, "I love you. Four more years." Baby, we all know what that means, and we love it. Yes. Four more years of all of that love for all of us.

HAMMER: Look at the POTUS and the FLOTUS there. How sweet is that?

Now Jay Thomas, I like Justin, but I`m thinking if Obama can beat the Biebs, there may be hope for this great nation after all.

JAY THOMAS, COMEDIAN/SIRIUS XM RADIO HOST: Well, you know, the Twitter world is pretty wild. I mean, Justin Bieber is the Donny Osmond of the 21st century, and I hope he`s saving his money.

What`s funny about Barack Obama, it looks like he and his wife actually have sex. Even though Ryan has, like 19 children and Ryan is a Catholic, it looks like they only have sex because their religions make them have sex. It looks like the First Lady and our president, they look like they really like getting naked and making love to each other, and that`s why I voted for them.

HAMMER: And clearly, Pat Lalama is in full agreement with you.

THOMAS: Well, they`re married. They can do whatever they want to do.

PAT LALAMA, INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY: I shouldn`t have expected anything less today.

You know, the fact is that Mitt loves his wife, and they seem very adoring, as well.

THOMAS: Yes.

LALAMA: But let me just say this. I`m going to just say this. It`s nation first today. He`s my president, too, and I want to look forward.

But here`s the deal. The fact of the matter is that this just proves that the Commander in Chief is the Celebrity in Chief. And so what he should do is give Bieber a Cabinet position like Secretary of Transmission of Information and Tweets or something. But he is definitely the Celebrity in Chief, as well.

HAMMER: And we love him, but again, he is still Canadian so I don`t think that can happen.

But we must move on now to No. 2 on our SHOWBIZ Countdown of "Election Showdowns." We go from this lighthearted Twitter victory to some pretty sore winners and their scathing attacks.

I`m talking about actresses Melissa Joan Hart and Stacey Dash. They really suffered some really nasty and ugly taunts for their support of Mitt Romney.

I want to read what Melissa tweeted hours before the polls opened yesterday. She wrote, "Can`t get too political in only 140 characters, but for those asking, I`m voting Romney/Ryan."

Now, by midday on election day, Melissa was attacked over and over, some of the most vile, some of the most personal tweets I`ve ever seen, reacting to that endorsement there.

And Pat, let me go back to you on this. This may be why a lot of Republicans in Hollywood aren`t typically as vocal, but how do stars like Melissa and Stacey deal with this kind of really inexcusable backlash? I don`t care who you`re supporting this isn`t right.

LALAMA: It is inexcusable, and I have to tell you, being a conservative in Hollywood is the equivalent of being persecuted and prosecuted at the Salem witch trials. I mean, it`s really, really hard. Because somehow people have bought into the notion that anyone conservative in Hollywood is a racist, a homophobe, a misogynist who want to kill grandmothers. It`s not true. That`s one thing the party needs to do is reconfigure their message so the people understand that.

And I think Hollywood celebrities, they have the money. They`re not worried about the economy. They are worried about social issues, and they think that anyone who says they lean economically conservative is a hateful person. It`s not true.

And these people who tweet these kinds of things, I think they`re extremists. I don`t think it`s all the people.

HAMMER: Right.

LALAMA: They are extremists, and I think they have psychological issues.

HAMMER: Well, it`s a lot of people hiding behind their keyboards.

But I want to read another one. This was Stacey Dash, who a month ago tweeted this. She said, "Vote for Romney, the only choice for your future."

Again in Hollywood, that`s kind of going out on a limb for some people. The tweet included this picture of Stacey posing in a swimsuit in front of an American flag. Not only was the coast-to-coast reaction angry; there were very racist comments all across the Twitterverse.

Sheryl, stars do take a risk, putting their political beliefs out there anytime. But how do you respond to such hateful attacks like the ones we`re seeing now?

RALPH: you know what? When I first heard Stacey Dash`s tweet and remarks, I said to everybody on my Twitter, "I agree to disagree." She also took an extra hit, because she is a black Republican.

There is nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree. America is unified in its differences. One for all and all for one. Leave the people alone with what they believe in.

LALAMA: Amen.

RALPH: That`s what makes us who we are.

Stacey, I don`t agree with you, but you go, girl, because you sure are beautiful.

HAMMER: A lot of angry people out there, but listen, I have to say, we truly saved the best star war for last. It is at No. 1 in our SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Election Showdowns," Donald Trump. He just can`t keep his virtual trap shut.

I actually, believe it or not, had a small amount of hope for Donald Trump`s attitude when he tweeted this early on election day. He said, "Whoever wins today, remember that tomorrow we still have a country struggling. Our work is not done until America is strong again." Bipartisan or whatever, right? Good. Couldn`t have been more wrong.

After the election was called, Trump went on a non-stop Twitter rant, including such as gems as -- I must include this -- "We can`t let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided." Also this: "This election is a total sham and a travesty. We`re not a democracy."

OK. Jay, I am certain that, had the results tipped in favor of his candidate, we would have heard nothing but gloating today. It seems like it is physically impossible for this man, Donald Trump, to restrain himself.

THOMAS: Well, I really think the only way that Donald Trump could make himself look better in my eyes is if he were to perhaps release his hair into the wild and do something for the ecology.

I think he is a promoter.

LALAMA: yes.

THOMAS: I think he knows that this gets him, you know, noticed.

LALAMA: Yes.

RALPH: Absolutely.

THOMAS: He`s a silly guy. I think all of his buildings, they look like Ramada Inns, overbuilt Ramada Inns, to me. I don`t find him an interesting character; I don`t find him an entrepreneur. I don`t know what he did, you know, to get all of his money, but you know, it`s amazing. This guy loves this stuff.

RALPH: Yes.

THOMAS: And he loves that we`re talking about him right now.

HAMMER: Oh, yes.

THOMAS: Apparently, it makes him millions of dollars.

HAMMER: Yes.

RALPH: Yes.

THOMAS: So maybe I should start saying horrible stuff also, but I`m not in Donald Trump`s arena yet.

But one thing I do believe, you should do what I do. After the election is over, you say you voted for the winner, and you don`t have to worry about anything.

HAMMER: Yes. The chance he would have done that...

THOMAS: Just be a winner. That`s all.

HAMMER: Let me just -- there`s something else I want to share with you guys, because Hollywood`s Twitter reaction to Donald Trump and how unpatriotic he was really came fast and furious.

And one of my favorites was an on-air comment made by, of all people, NBC News anchor Brian Williams. The comment was tweeted and retweeted thousands of times. And Brian Williams said Donald Trump "has driven well past the last exit to relevance and veered into something closer to irresponsible." And we shall leave it there.

RALPH: That`s right.

HAMMER: I think that pretty much says it all. Pat, Jay...

THOMAS: Thank you all.

HAMMER: ... thank you both so much. And a special congratulations, by the way, to Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes, who ran unopposed, and his First Lady, Sheryl Lee Ralph. So congratulations on that, Sheryl.

As we move on, President Obama`s re-election has got everybody buzzing, of course. Among the things that people want to know, what`s he going to dance to at the inaugural ball?

HAMMER: Will Beyonce return for an encore? Maybe her hubby, Jay-Z should fire up the party. The president is telling all.

Plus, Aretha Franklin opens up to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about whether or not she`s coming back for Obama`s big day. Can she possibly top that iconic hat? It`s the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Obamas, Then and Now."

And Kirstie Ally`s bombshell confessions about the superstar love of her life. Wait until you hear this. Why she nearly left her husband for Patrick Swayze.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Sandy has devastated a landmark New Jersey theme park. If you know this area it`s a famous roller coaster in Seaside Heights. Look at it here now. And it`s submerged in water. Now, losing this amusement park has got a lot of people shaken up.

HAMMER: The devastation from Hurricane Sandy was so shocking, and the Jersey shore got the brunt of the shore, which washed out so many iconic spots like that one. But the storm surge from Sandy didn`t spare many towns along the northeast Coast.

Tonight, the queen of soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin, is opening up her pocketbook to help the relief efforts. And now, she`s sharing her personal reaction to the devastation caused by the storm.

SHOWBIZ tonight`s Nischelle Turner just spoke to Aretha by phone about the storm and the hope for recovery.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NISCHELLE TURNER, HLN CORRESPONDENT: They know we just got word today that you decided to postpone or cancel some of your concerts in the New York, New Jersey area because of the hurricane and impending -- the impending storm that`s coming.

ARETHA FRANKLIN, SINGER: Yes.

TURNER: What kind of thought went into that? We just saw that this morning.

FRANKLIN: You know, I just -- Nischelle, it`s just kind of hard for me to be somewhere singing with so much suffering going on. People are in this streets. They don`t -- they have like bonfires to keep them warm, and they`re sleeping through the night in the street. You know, that`s just too much. It`s too much.

I don`t understand why some kind of lodging has not been found for them. Trailers, you know, whatever. Like what they did in New Orleans. Something more should -- how can you let people sleep in the street like that?

TURNER: You know, that`s a good question, because I know some of the people in some of the affected areas were still saying, you know, "We are still without power. We`re still without homes. We really..."

FRANKLIN: I know, I know. I was listening to Cory Booker the other night with Brian Martin, the night before last, I think. He said there are still tens of thousands of people in Newark with no power, no electricity, that trees are -- have fallen, homes have fallen in the roadway, blocking the roadway in different places.

And one thing -- I was saying we don`t need to be up there, A, in the way and, B, I don`t know -- I don`t know that I would feel good singing with that kind of suffering going on.

TURNER: Right. Understandable. Hey, what do you think about that Cory Booker? I mean, he`s really opened himself up as the mayor, and he`s invited people to his home if they need to get warm. What do you think about the job that he`s doing? He`s kind of become the latest media darling.

FRANKLIN: Yes. Cory Booker is a very sharp young man. I was listening to him last evening. And he`s on the run. No question about that. He`s very charming.

TURNER: I like that. He`s on the run. I`m going to use that.

FRANKLIN: Yes, he`s on the run.

TURNER: Well, thank you very much.

We`ve got Aretha`s reaction to the presidential election and what she thinks will top her eye-catching moment four years ago when she sang for President Obama`s inauguration and wore that hat. Who could top that? So will Aretha perform for the president again? That is still ahead.

The campaigns have certainly given comedians a lot of material to work with. And for Conan O`Brien this election drama was simply the gift that kept on giving. This time, however, Conan didn`t want to focus on the race for the White House. Instead, he put his own spin on the races that he thought were the ones to watch. Check this out.

CONAN O`BRIEN, HOST, TBS`S "CONAN": First up, in Rhode Island, they have voted to stop being a state and simply act as a storage unit for Massachusetts. Yes.

This news from Oklahoma. Oklahoma, they have voted to allow guns to carry guns. Isn`t that exciting?

ANDY RICHTER, TBS`S "CONAN": Cute.

O`BRIEN: Very cute. Yes.

And in Ohio, the recall election has failed. Hall and Oates will stay in the Rock `N` Roll Hall of Fame. Very controversial.

Andy, how are you?

RICHTER: Sure, I`m fine, Conan. Listen, got news coming from down in Florida. Older Floridians have once again accidentally cast their votes for the wrong person, this time voting for 18th century inventor Eli Whitney. One Florida voter had this to say for himself.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did I do wrong?

HAMMER: Perfect. All right. All eyes may have been on President Obama last night after his big win. But come the inauguration ball, fashion fans are going to be trained on the First Lady. Can she outdo the first inauguration look?

And who can forget the first couple dancing at the inauguration ball to Beyonce singing "At Last"?

HAMMER: That`s just a little awkward there. "The Today Show`s" Savannah Guthrie going there, asking "Twilight`s" Kristen Stewart if, indeed, she and Robert Pattinson are a couple again.

You might recall, K. Stew cheated on Pattinson, so you can only imagine how she answered that question.

And of course, there have been reports. There have been photos and headlines, but no one really knows for sure if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are really back together. She, of course, publicly apologized for cheating on him with "Snow White" director Rupert Sanders. That was back in July.

So could it be true that RPattz has forgiven Kristen and taken her back? Well, here`s what she said about it on "Today" this morning.

GUTHRIE: Kristen, you have so many fans, and they will be mad at us if we don`t ask you. And they follow your life, and they want to know are you back together with Robert Pattinson?

STEWART: Funny you mention that. I`m just going to let people watch whatever little movie they would like to think our lives are and go for -- you know, keep them guessing, I always say.

All right. As we move on tonight, more jail time for Lindsay. Could it be? Lindsay Lohan could be in big trouble for possibly lying about details of her June car crash.

Also, Whitney Houston`s never-before-heard song revealed. All making big news in "The Buzz Today."

HAMMER (voice-over): Whitney`s new song. Whitney Houston may be gone, but her music is living on. "Never Give Up," a new song just recorded with Jermaine Dupri before her death earlier this year, has just been released.

The motivational chorus, "Never give up, hold your head up to the sky," seems to express the legendary singer`s struggle to stay afloat during her troubled life. "Never Give Up" will be featured on an upcoming greatest hits album, "I Will Always Love You."

Lindsay`s lie? Lindsay Lohan could possibly be facing more jail time over the car accident she was involved in last June. The actress told authorities at the time she was not in the driver`s seat when her Porsche slammed into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Southern California. But now the troubled starlet`s original claim is being questioned.

A public information officer for the Los Angeles city attorney`s office tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the office is looking into the matter and considering asking for a probation violation hearing, but no decision has been made.

HAMMER: OK. Now that election night is behind us, we can certainly look forward to President Obama`s inauguration. And tonight, we`ve got someone who was right there for President Obama`s first inauguration, the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin.

Tonight she is revealing to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT whether or not she`ll be there for the second one and if she`ll have yet another fashion scene stealer like that iconic hat.

After the president is sworn in all eyes, of course, on our fashionable First Lady. What will she be wearing on inaugural night? Will she top our SHOWBIZ Countdown, "The Obamas, Then and Now"?

And right now, it`s the SHOWBIZ Countdown, the "Obamas, Then and Now". President Obama of course reigns supreme tonight, just a day after winning re-election. Hard to believe that it is nearly four years since we saw the Obamas dance to their first song at the inaugural ball. There were so many stars attached to the gala back then.

Remember, the legendary Aretha Franklin who we just spoke with, by the way, in a brand new interview, that`s coming up in just a moment.

But first what are the top three then and now Obama moments? Here you go.

Coming in number three, who will be the performers this time around? Now, back then the Obamas danced to Beyonce singing the Etta James classic "at last."

HAMMER: All right. Well, now, they are getting ready for the next inauguration. So the question is who is going to be there? Who`s singing, who`s perform?

With me in New York, Janell Snowden is, of course by the way, VH1`s "Big Morning Buzz Live." From Philadelphia, Sheryl Lee Ralph, whose new movie "Christmas in Compton" opens this Friday.

Great to have you both here.

So let`s go back. Back then it was "At Last." They danced to it and I want you to listen to what President Obama told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show when Seacrest asked the president what he and the First Lady would be dancing to this time around.

RYAN SEACREST, RADIO HOST: If you win the election, have you picked out the song you and the First Lady will dance to?

OBAMA: Well, now that`s a tough choice and I think I will have to consult with my wife.

SEACREST: Smart man.

OBAMA: But last time out Beyonce sang "At Last," Etta James` classic and that was a pretty good choice. Whatever it is it has to be a slow song so I can put my moves on.

SEACREST: Put the moves on. Put the moves on FLOTUS.

OBAMA: Something a little romantic, you know.

HAMMER: Yes. Look at that. President Obama getting frisky there.

All right, Sheryl, what song do you think they should dance to this time?

RALPH: OK. So you know I love FLOTUS and POTUS. And he has already said, it has got to be slow and sexy. I suggest skip the singer and have the president sing it himself. He can sing and let her hold her. I`m so in love with you. And look at FLOTUS, whatever you want to do, go on president. Is all right with me.

JANELL SNOWDEN, CORRESPONDENT, VH1`s "MORNING BUZZ LIVE": Have you sing it.

RALPH: I can sing it. I can tell you he can do this.

HAMMER: Janell, I was going to come and ask you what you think they should dance to but now you have to sing.

SNOWDEN: And now, I got to follow that, right? You totally took it from me. I was exactly going to say that. Because, of course, you know, he sang it during the campaign. But you know what, it is only right they pay respect to Jay-Z and Beyonce. They did so much to help them get in the office so I think they do crazy in love. Come on. Imagine Michelle doing the booty pop dance. She all right did the dougie. Come on. That`s good, right?

HAMMER: As long as it is not "Gangnam Style" or "Call Me Maybe", I think it will be OK,

SNOWDEN: Yes.

HAMMER: Well, from the Obama`s dancing to the diva singing. Let`s go to the number two in the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Then and Now". Perhaps the greatest diva on the planet, Aretha Franklin, sang at President Obama`s first inauguration ceremony. People are still buzzing about the eye- catching moment four years later. Watch this.

(ARETHA FRANKLIN SINGING)

HAMMER: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner spoke with the great Aretha Franklin by phone today and asked her what it was like back then. You have to listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NISCHELLE TURNER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: I remember that moment. You were singing "My Country `Tis of Thee" and it was such a moment. Did you - I mean, you have been performing for so many years. But did you really just feel that the gravity of the moment that day?

ARETHA FRANKLIN, SINGER (via telephone): Oh, absolutely. How could you not feel it, you know, right there in the middle of one moment in time, as they say. And one moment in history and an African-American and American history.

TURNER: Yes, absolutely. You know, if I may, that was a very momentous moment. But you kind of made your own moment that day, as well when you walked out with that fascinator on. I know you like your fashion but did you have any idea that that hat would become what it was and that people all over the world would want that hat?

FRANKLIN: I had no idea, Nischelle. When -- well, subsequent to the inauguration, I saw many other ladies wearing it and I want you to know they were working it.

TURNER: They were?

FRANKLIN: They were working it. I saw it in white with a white triple tier fox stone. It was absolutely beautiful.

TURNER: Now, is that hat -- it`s in a museum now, isn`t it?

FRANKLIN: No, not yet. We have been talking with the Smithsonian and then when I had to go in to the hospital the talks broke off. But since then, I have been kind of thinking about are you sure you want to give it to the Smithsonian? How about putting it in the Franklin museum? I would have artifacts of my dad`s and mine too over the years.

TURNER: It definitely deserves its own place because I remember that hat was talked about for so long. So did you plan for a long time for that, or was it just something you saw? Because I wonder if you were to participate again, I mean, how do you top that?

FRANKLIN: Well, I don`t know. Let`s see. But no, the hat took on a life of its own.

TURNER: Yes.

HAMMER: Wow. Who doesn`t love the great queen of soul?

All right, Sheryl you know fashion. You love that hat too, I`m sure. And you know, by the way, it has a Web site of its own. But that was then. So who and how could anyone possibly top Ms. Aretha`s eye catching moment now?

RALPH: Let me tell you something, when I think back and I say, oh, say can you see this grand hat is sitting on me. I wonder what are they going to come up with this year because that hat, like you said, A.J. was living a whole life and singing a whole song of its own. I loved it.

HAMMER: Yes. Sheryl --

RALPH: Church women were taking that hat, baby.

HAMMER: No, question. I thought about it, too.

Sheryl singing some more right there, Janell. So get ready. I am going to put you on the spot.

SNOWDEN: You are setting me up.

HAMMER: But listen. We must move from Aretha`s spectacular fascinator to the fascination over Michelle Obama`s fashion. This has gone on and on for years now. The minute that we learned last President Obama won, well, the conversation pretty quickly turned in for a lot of people to what Michelle Obama was wearing. I should tell you, it was Michael Khors. I didn`t recognized that myself. No, no, no. I got told that information.

By the way, this dress was recycled and I think that`s one of the reasons why the First Lady`s fashion takes the number one spot on the SHOWBIZ Countdown. Four years ago, no question about it, FLOTUS Michelle Obama became the world`s newest fashion star. So let`s take a little look at why. We have the look, but let`s open it up. It begins with the classic Jason Moon dress (ph) that she wore for the inaugural ball back then.

Janell, I know you agree with me, classy lady through and true. I think women love the fact that she recycles her fashion. What do you think she will wear inauguration day?

SNOWDEN: She`s the best. You know, what I love about this, is that they get to just do their thing. They don`t have to worry about being judged because they are not going to campaign again. They can just go all out. So I think she should bare those arms that have become legendary. And I think she should do something that is regal but why not sex it up? She has a great body. She looks amazing. He`s in love with her. I mean, what better night like that inaugural ball was going to be the ultimate foreplay for them. So I think, she should go all out.

HAMMER: The ultimate foreplay the inauguration ball. I believe that`s the first time on national television.

HAMMER: So many celebrities are rushing to help out in any way they can in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy today. And a legendary R&B group Boyz II Men were actually scheduled to play in Atlantic City just as Superstorm Sandy pinned in to New Jersey. The show of course was canceled. But obviously, these guys are thinking about the victims as they tour for the new album, "20", rolls on.

Boyz II Men`s Shawn Stockman is joining me by phone right now for the SHOWBIZ Newsmaker interview. It is good to talk to Sean. Give me some good news. Tell me where you are right now.

SHAWN STOCKMAN, SINGER, BOYZ II MEN (via telephone): Thank you, A.J. I`m actually in Los Angeles. I`m on the west coast.

HAMMER: All right.

STOCKMAN: I have been away from the craziness that`s going on in the east coast.

HAMMER: Yes. The craziness that continues with the nor`easter where we have through right now.

But when taking a look at some of the images from New Jersey this moment, Shawn. I know, you guys, actually barely escaped this devastation from the super storm. So I imagine you and the rest of the guys in Boy II men are planning to help out with the rebuilding efforts in some way?

STOCKMAN: Yes, absolutely. Unfortunately, just like you mentioned, we were supposed to have a show the day of the storm. It really hit the boardwalk in Atlantic City and of course, we had to reschedule. But we are trying to reschedule, you know, that particular show. And part of the proceeds will go to some of the victims of the storm. So you know, we are trying to help out the best we can. We are from the area, from Philadelphia. We had a friend or two of ours that were majorly affected by the storm itself. We want to help out in some way, shape or form.

HAMMER: Well, you guys have always really stood up to the task throughout your amazing 20-year history. So it`s great to know you will be doing that. And when you think about it, I mean, obviously, it is such an epic time. Not only have we been dealing with the aftermath of Sandy, we have a new storm blowing through here tonight hitting New Jersey and New York really hard. And of course, today, everybody is talking about the presidential election.

So I got to know. I got to get your reaction, Shawn, how are you feeling about Barack Obama being re-elected?

STOCKMAN: I`m glad that he got re-elected because of the fact that, you know -- I don`t think -- I`m not a politician and my vernacular to turning politics might not be very good. But the point of being a president is to take care of the nation. And before he came in to the presidency, the country was pretty much in a bad state. And I tell you, I`m not the smartest guy in the world but to fix a problem as big as we had in just four years is virtually impossible. You need more time.

So I`m glad the American people were smart enough and conscious enough to understand that four more years is what the president need for his things to actually get in to affect and to take effect with the country.

HAMMER: Yes. I`m sure you are with me in hoping that - look, not everybody voted for him. Half of the country didn`t, practically, but I would hope that everybody, at least now, is at least going to try to stand behind him or at least have hope.

STOCKMAN: Yes.

HAMMER: That`s the important thing I want to hear from people that voted for the other guy. At least have hoped we will turn this thing around.

STOCKMAN: Look. Again, the whole thing about being a Democrat or Republican, again, I`m not a politician, but at the same time, at least I thought what being American was about was about helping each other and being about each other. So you know, to disregard someone`s views or opinions about a certain matter or issue because he`s a Democrat or because he`s a Republican is silly to me.

HAMMER: Yes.

STOCKMAN: So I think it`s about what is best for the country, what`s best for the people of this country, what`s going to make the work force stronger, what`s going to make everything that used to be what the United States is about stronger. At least that`s what I thought it was about.

HAMMER: Yes. I`m right there with you, Shawn. And tell me very quickly. Because obviously, they are going to need entertainment come the inauguration. If you were asked to perform, what song do you think would be the perfect one and you are not allowed to say whatever the president wants.

STOCKMAN: Well, you know, what? Let`s see. I`m trying to run through our rolodex of songs here. Let me see, I would say, you know, we have a very romantic song called "Water Runs Dry."

HAMMER: Right.

STOCKMAN: You know, it`s about not letting the water run dry. So the whole thing is with the economy and what we are going through, let`s not wait until the water runs dry.

HAMMER: Better choice than "End of the Road," Shawn.

STOCKMAN: Absolutely.

But now, her troubles actually may not be over since the buzz is still all about the voting drama that played late in to the night.

There are a lot of bleary-eyed Americans who stayed up very late last night watching the election resulting rolling in an we got to see President Obama deliver his victory speech. The friends here over the election and President Obama`s The first tweet set the Twitter records on fire today. And today, people everywhere still can`t stop buzzing about how it all went down, including talk TV`s biggest stars.

KELLY RIPA, TV HOST: Cute play on words, they`re Barack.

MICHAEL STRAHAN, TV HOST: Great. And you know what I was surprised at, look at the girls.

RIPA: I know. They grew up. They grew up in that White House?

STRAHAN: Yes. Beautiful and they are so big now. Kind of forget that kids grow.

RIPA: And as a parent, I`m always amazed when they do not get -- they are not fist fighting on the stage. They are actually so well behaved publicly, I`m mystified by that.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I was not 100 percent sure that he would win. So I was at a bar last night just in case. Because last time when Bush won I was at a bar then, too. Believe me, I needed it.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: When it did happen I was in tears. I was in bed with my husband. I was so daggone happy, I looked at him, it is going to be a good night tonight, I`m so happy.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I thought they would be counting this votes all night. I was about to turn off the TV in the kitchen. It was 11 p.m., right? And they said, Obama won. And I thought it was a joke. I wasn`t sure. The polls were still open for people to be voting but congratulations, President Obama.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Four more years. And he tweeted just that, four more years is what he tweeted. It quickly became the most popular tweet of all time beating anything that Justin Bieber has ever said, which is really weird that we are putting the president and Justin Bieber even in the same sentence but sign of the times. Pop culture.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And a lot of people were tweeting at voting places and I tweeted at mine only because my voting place yesterday in New York was a nightmare. Everyone said you are going to breeze in because you are going -- mine was a mob scene. I mean, this is me.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There`s no line. It is a blob. It is a moving mass of blob.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Like a Springsteen concert.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Once you fill it out with a pen.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Then, you have to feed it in to a machine in another line.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And you were yelled at for doing it improperly.
