HAMMER: Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson has traded the ring for the stage with his raw and revealing one-man show. Well, Mike is right here tonight. It`s a raw and insightful "SHOWBIZ Newsmaker" interview, and Mike Tyson reveals to me what it`s really like for stars behind bars.

Hello and thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.

And every night you hear the "Bold Accusations" about the Jodi Arias murder case on "HLN AFTER DARK," and tonight we`re following that up with something just wild. Our "SHOWBIZ Countdown" of today`s top three "Celebrity Justice Shockers."

And I saw wild, because kicking off the countdown at No. 3 is this. Did Jodi Arias kill her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, by stabbing him 29 times because she might have been inspired in part by Alfred Hitchcock`s classic movie "Psycho"?

MIKE WALKER, SENIOR EDITOR, "NATIONAL ENQUIRER" (via phone): She claims that Travis claimed he was sexually aroused by the idea of a naked woman being attacked in the shower, and he wanted to kind of, you know, experiment with that. So they got the knife in the shower, and she said then he started roughing her up and things got out of hand.

DR. DREW PINSKY, HLN ANCHOR: Wow.

WALKER: She said, except for that, the knife she used would never had been in the bathroom to begin with.

COOPER: As Dr. Drew said, wow. That was the senior editor, by the way, of the "National Enquirer" telling HLN`s Dr. Drew Pinsky about the report that Jodi would be getting into more detail on the "Psycho" movie connection in a tell-all book that she`s writing behind bars.

With us tonight in Hollywood, Darren Kavinoky. He`s an attorney, and he hosts "Deadly Sins" on Investigation Discovery. His partner in crime, Pat LaLama, also in Hollywood. She`s a correspondent for Investigation Discovery.

And guys, we haven`t confirmed these reports going around about a Jodi Arias tell-all book. Wouldn`t surprise me. Pat, Jodi has already told tons of wild stories about what happened the night that she killed Travis. Would this new story, blaming the movie "Psycho," really even seem that far-fetched?

PAT LALAMA, CORRESPONDENT, INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY: Oh my heavens, here`s the story, A.J. This is her moment in the sunlight. She throws out the crumbs, and because of our 24/7 news cycle, we have to take them.

Mark my words: Once this trial is over, her stock is going to go way down in terms of her marketability, and I doubt five people are going to buy her so-called tell-all book.

HAMMER: Well, it will be very interesting to see, Pat LaLama, but I do appreciate your LaLamalian theory on that.

LALAMA: Thank you.

HAMMER: Darren Kavinoky, again, back to this "Psycho" connection. Again, we`ve heard so many bizarre and crazy things regarding this case. And there is an interesting connection. When you think about it, would it really blow you away if there was something to that?

DARREN KAVINOKY, HOST, INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY`S "DEADLY SINS": The thing that would most blow me away about this is it would be strongly suggestive that this was not premeditated, that it was something that just happened in the moment, because the knife happened to be there. So if you`re going to buy this "Psycho" defense, or this "Psycho" notion, you`ve got to believe that she didn`t plan this out in advance.

But there`s a bunch of gas cans, and her avoiding any record of her being in Arizona, and a whole bunch of evidence that we`re going to expect to hear about in closing arguments soon that would fly in the face of that.

And the other fundamental problem I have is this. It all originates with Jodi Arias. And there`s one easy way to tell if she`s lying: her lips are moving.

HAMMER: Yes.

LALAMA: You stole my line! You stole -- you stole my line! I said that in the make-up room, and you took it from me.

HAMMER: Oh, oh, oh. You`re writing material for Darren now.

KAVINOKY: You left it there.

HAMMER: You did leave it kind of hanging out there. And here`s the thing. Look, we`re having a good time. The connection is very interesting. I never ever want to make light of the fact that hey, somebody died here. OK. And this woman is on trial for her life.

And all that said, Darren, you know, you`re talking and we`re seeing these images from the movie "Psycho," and I`m hearing that "Psycho" sound effect in the background there. I don`t know. Stranger things, you know.

But another movie`s connection to a real-life crime is next in our "SHOWBIZ Countdown" tonight. This is No. 2. It`s the big fight over "The Bling Ring."

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I want to leave the country one day.

HAMMER (voice-over): The new movie "Bling Ring" tells the real-life story of a young gang of Hollywood thieves that broke into the homes of celebrities, including Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Let`s go to Paris`s. I want to rob.

HAMMER: Emma Watson plays one of the thieves, but her movie is already getting a horrible review. Not from a movie critic but from a real life member of the Bling Ring.

In a new tweet, ex-reality show star Alexis Neiers, who did 30 days in jail for the Bling Ring robberies, calls the "Bling Ring" movie, quote, "trashy and inaccurate."

Ironically, Emma Watson indirectly dissed her real-life counterpart, telling British "GQ" she, quote, "hated" her "Bling Ring" character, who is based on Neiers.

WATSON: I`m a firm believer in karma.

HAMMER: Guess who won`t be sitting together at the premiere.

HAMMER: That`s just so funny. You have this alleged criminal saying that the movie is trashy and inaccurate, Pat. Does this real-life alleged thief have any right to complain about anything to do with this movie?

LALAMA: She`s not allowed. She pled no contest. That`s good enough for me.

But here`s the thing. One of the lawyers for one of the other defendants, Courtney Ames -- his name is Robert Schwartz, very capable attorney, told me today his client was portrayed falsely, and the portrayal was exaggerated.

There`s no criminal on earth who thinks they get a fair shake...

HAMMER: Yes.

LALAMA: ... on TV or in the movies. They`re all narcissistic. Too bad. Be happy someone`s still talking about you.

HAMMER: Yes.

LALAMA: I mean, for heaven`s sakes, this is not a documentary. You know, who cares? Poor victims.

HAMMER: It`s Hollywood.

All right. Well, Emma Watson is imitating this burglar for a movie. But now, could Justin Bieber be in trouble for imitating -- oh, I don`t know -- Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson and their pot-smoking adventures?

Well, this takes us to No. 1 on our "SHOWBIZ Countdown" of today`s "Celebrity Justice Shockers." We learned today that Justin Bieber`s tour bus was stopped and search in Sweden. This was after cops say they smelled some marijuana. That is like an everyday occurrence for the likes of Willie and Snoop Dogg. Right? But Bieber`s incident took place in Stockholm as his tour took him through Scandinavia.

CNN International anchor Max Foster is all over this watching all of it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. He`s joining us from London. Max, what do you know so far about this?

MAX FOSTER, CNN INTERNATIONAL ANCHOR: It`s just been such an incredible tour. So many things have been going on in this tour of Europe.

But basically, there`s police officers who are outside the tour bus. Bieber had been on there, as well as some other people, and they smelled the marijuana wafting out. They went on board, searched it. The people had left by that point, and they found an unspecified amount of narcotics. They also found a stun gun, A.J., which is illegal. So they confiscated all of this stuff.

But because, under the law, you have to have the drugs on you to be arrested for it. So no one was arrested; no one was charged. And Bieber`s gone off to Finland now. He did respond via Twitter saying this: "Some of the rumors about me, where do people get this stuff?" Well, it was the police. "Whatever. Back to the music."

HAMMER: Wow. I mean, this is just amazing, Max. On top of all of the other trouble that this tour has caused him, and there`s been a great deal of that, hasn`t there?

FOSTER: Absolutely. It started here in London, and there were some concerts where, on the first night he was basically late for his gig and upset a lot of people. But the next night, he collapsed on stage.

We also have these extraordinary scenes of him arguing with a photographer outside his hotel. That made a lot of headlines.

He then was meant to go to Portugal but didn`t sell enough tickets, so he cancelled those dates. Went to Germany. Had his monkey confiscated. Couldn`t get it through customs.

Then, in Norway, extraordinary scenes of people going absolutely crazy to the extent where school people couldn`t concentrate enough on their exams. So exams for the country were rescheduled.

An extraordinary tour, A.J. It will go down in pop history. On to Russia next. We`ll see what happens there.

HAMMER: No question about it. All right. CNN`s Max Foster in London tonight.

Let me go back to Darren Kavinoky. You know, Darren, Bieber has been photographed smoking weed before. So maybe he shouldn`t be so surprised if he`s not exactly above suspicion.

KAVINOKY: Well, indeed. But from all of this that Max has chronicled, it sounds like he`s half a scoop of crazy away from going full Lohan on us. And he better be careful, because look, he`s -- his behavior and this kind of stuff on a slightly serious note, you know, now that the Biebs has hit age 18 and gotten all of this money, he`s surrounded by yes-men. It all looks terribly unhealthy. And frankly, I`m concerned.

HAMMER: Well, I think a lot of people are, and hopefully, he does not travel that road. We`re just going to have to wait and see, I guess.

Pat, Darren, thank you both so much.

And as we move on tonight, we remember back in the day, Mike Tyson was the ultimate bad boy. I mean, he was young. He was powerful. He was rich. Kind of like Justin Bieber before things went out of control for Mike, for a while.

HAMMER: Yes. Well, I`m trying to work the lingo here for you, Jon. By the way, I need to tell everybody that you`re going to face off with Chael Sonnen this weekend in New Jersey. But right now, you`re going to face off with us. So cool having you here, Jon.

JONES: Hey, thanks for having me on your show. It`s my pleasure.

HAMMER: Of course. And let me ask you, before I get to your big fight which we`ll talk about in just a moment. I need your take on our first "SHOWBIZ Smackdown" of the night.

JONES: All right.

HAMMER: Because we have this whole "American Idol" versus, the "Idol" judges versus the "Idol" producers thing going on here. There`s a big buzz tonight over these reports that producers were actually plotting to replace the lovely Mariah Carey with former "Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez to boost up their ratings.

So Jon, you`ve got to tell me. You`re the master of the smackdown. Who needs a smackdown in this battle? "Idol" judges or "Idol" producers?

JONES: You know what? I am going to have to go with the "Idol" producers. What is wrong with these people? I mean, how are you going to get rid of Mariah Carey? She`s, like, the biggest recording artist of all time. I think her word is legit. I`m going with the producers.

HAMMER: OK. Are you a fan of "American Idol"? Are you watching the show when you have time?

JONES: Yes. Yes, absolutely, I watch it when I have time. I`ve been training for a world championship fight. So it`s a little hard to...

HAMMER: A little busy? Well, that`s the thing, because there are people who maybe they once loved "Idol" and now they kind of hate "Idol" and not so crazy about it anymore.

But talk about love and hate. Your upcoming component, Chael Sonnen, he`s showering you with compliments just days before you two face off. I don`t know if he`s -- he`s trying to mess with your mind, but let me read a bit of what he just told "MMA Weekly."

He said, "And as great as Jon is, I don`t think he understands how good he is. The reality is Jon Jones could beat up Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali all in the same day."

Wow. Let`s think about that for a moment here, Jon. Two legend -- two legendary fighters. Chael suggesting that you could beat them on the same day. First, I need to ask you, are you surprised by the compliment coming from your opponent?

JONES: You know, I`m really surprised by this compliment. Chael Sonnen has been talking so much trash. He`s usually so disrespectful, and now we get to fight week, and he`s complimenting me. I think he`s playing mind tricks with me.

HAMMER: Could you take Tyson and Ali in the same day?

JONES: They`ve definitely gotten a lot older than they were in their prime, but I can`t disrespect the legends of combat sports, you know. Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali are two of my favorites. And I like my ears. I think I want to keep my ears.

HAMMER: Listen, you don`t want to disrespect Mike Tyson at all, particularly when I have this to play for you. Would you look at your monitor over here?

JONES: Uh-oh. Let`s see what you got.

TYSON: This is going to be a quick one for him. This is going to be a quick one. So you know, Chael is already comping, just to say how good his opponent is. He`s ready to lie down. And so -- so you know he gave up already. And so do a good job, Jones.

And while many were touched by the women`s insecurities, the parodies zeroed in on what men would say about their looks.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A lot of people say they`re an abyss, because they just don`t end.

MOOS: Cockiness like that resulted in these self-described sketches resembling movie stars, unlike the ones based on a stranger`s description.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is the sketch that you helped me create. And that is a sketch that somebody described of you.

MOOS: The real and the parody videos spawn different conclusions. Women, you are more beautiful than you think. Men, you`re less beautiful than you think. And boobs are just as beautiful as you think. But most of the spoofs involve men acting like boobs.

TYSON: A.J., I have been seeing you over the years and it`s just awesome stuff.

HAMMER: You`re making me blush. Well, let`s talk about you. Because that`s why we are her. Let`s talk about this amazing show, I mean, it is remarkable, Mike, that you get up on stage for two hours and you just put it all out there. Such raw talk about everything in your life. The good, the bad, the ugly. And you deal with some pretty difficult things that you have had to deal with in life including, of course, the very tragic loss of your four-year-old daughter. I want to take a look at a clip of you talking about that.

TYSON: And when they saw me, (inaudible) babies were dying, they ran to me like I`m some special guy like because my baby died. I`m special. They grabbed me and ran and started praying with me, and they couldn`t speak English. And I realized that, I was a member of a club that I didn`t want to join.

HAMMER: Wow. So Mike, I see you getting so raw, and you`re doing it night after night. I got to wonder why are you doing it? Why are you putting yourself out there like that?

TYSON: Well, you know, A.J., I want to do something with my life. I like entertaining people. Through boxing, I`ve learned -- I loved entertaining people, but even though I had done it through boxing, this is what I still like to do, even though I can`t box anymore. So I`m just here to entertain people. That`s what I want to do.

HAMMER: So, you`re actually feeding off of that energy?

TYSON: 100 percent.

HAMMER: That you get from ...

TYSON: A 100 percent.

A.J. And it`s just shocking. I have to say, Michael, when we see you putting it all out there, you`re talking about those raw moments in your life, how hard is it for you to relive all of that on a big stage in front of a big audience every night?

TYSON: Well, I don`t know. Most of the people there, they know what they have lived through it with me. Because most of the issues that I speak about are just headline issues. It`s something that people would -- they saw it in the papers before, they just never heard it through my perspective, you know, through my eyes. It may be different to -- my marriage and my wife, anybody else that was involved with me back then, but through my eyes and my perspective, I`m just giving them a chronological idea of how I lived my life till now.

HAMMER: And in a way setting the record straight about some things that people may have a misperception about.

TYSON: I don`t know if it is setting the record straight, but it`s from my view. I mean, coming from my view. They may have different perceptions of it.

HAMMER: And how you lived it. And of course, everybody loves hearing about your incredible famed boxing career. You hold that record, Mike. At 20 years old, the youngest heavyweight champion ever. That`s still your record, that`s pretty cool.

TYSON: I also hold the record for being the fastest knock-out in the (inaudible).

HAMMER: And here you are all these years later, and they are still yours, which I know is pretty great to you.

TYSON: I am just happy to be alive. I am very grateful that I can actually entertain people by just telling them about my life, which is something that everybody knew about, but they still want to know about.

HAMMER: I have to imagine you miss being in the ring? As much as you love being up on stage?

TYSON: No way.

HAMMER: Not at all?

TYSON: No way. That`s over. And to be that guy, the Mike Tyson, the baddest man on the planet, whoever the hell I was back then, I have to be a totally different than I want (ph). Just because I have a family. Just this was -- I don`t know if my kids would like me if I`m that person. But this person, I can get along with my kids and we`re friends, and my wife loves me and I love her. And I don`t care how much I love somebody, if I`m in that state of - state of constant combat and competition and war, there is no way I`m going to get along with my loved ones or even my close friends.

HAMMER: So (inaudible) probably it`s been no good for you.

TYSON: No doubt about it, because this is where it is right now. The gregarious, happy, non-threatening black guy. This is where I want to be, right here.

HAMMER: Listen, there is no question that boxing made you an incredibly wealthy man. You talk very candidly about that. You made, I don`t know, $300 to $400 million, and then it went away. Is losing all that money, Mike, one of the great regrets of your life?

TYSON: No way. Listen, I had an awesome time. And even though I had a lot of money and had a great life, it can`t even -- it doesn`t even stand the chance - it does not even stand the test of time against the life I`m living now. And that`s what I realized. It`s an inside job. Basically, A.J., I don`t care, if you are looking for happiness from the outside world and all this materialism and all this, just the world that we live in, it`s going to be disastrous. It`s all an inside job. If you`re not happy from within, if it`s not working from in here, it`s not going to work.

HAMMER: You talk about your mom in the show.

TYSON: Yes, yes, I do.

HAMMER: I want to read a line that stuck out to me. You said, "they said my mother died of cancer. I think she died of a broken heart." What exactly did you mean by that?

TYSON: My mother is just -- I have a lot of characteristics, my mother was a constant depressed, my mother was totally a depressed woman. And she didn`t take any medicine for it, she just drank alcohol and smoke cigarettes. That`s what happened to my mother. And I think I suffer from those things. I could be champ of the world, and then all of a sudden within (inaudible), I`m depressed.

HAMMER: That still happen?

TYSON: Not as much. No, no. It`s just who I am. It`s just going to be - it`s going to be in my life to the day I die, not so commanding like it was before, but it`s just a part of me.

HAMMER: And we have seen you re-invent yourself through this one-man show, and we have seen you re-invent yourself, Mike, as a movie star now. And I know everybody must want to talk to you about your appearances in "The Hangover" movies, because quite frankly, you were fantastic. I mean, the producers of this movie, the writers, they took your love of tigers and they turned it into a great punch line in "Hangover" one. And in "Hangover Two," we got to see it, showing off your fantastic singing chops. Shall we take a look at that?

TYSON: Please do. I like this part of the show.

HAMMER: First of all, Mike, please tell me you actually sing in real life a little better than that?

TYSON: No. As a matter of fact, it was pretty good. I got paid more than most professional singers get paid.

HAMMER: I think Murray Head was the guy who originally had a hit with that song back in the 1980s. I think you made more money - that was his one hit. I think you made more money singing "One Night in Bangkok." I think you probably made more money singing it than he did.

TYSON (singing): One night in Bangkok, and the world`s my oyster.

HAMMER: All right. We get it.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: I`m kidding. So listen, "Hangover III" is about to come out, we`re all very excited about that. We know you`re in it, but I haven`t really heard what you`re doing. So would you break a little news? Come on, Mike, give me something. What are we going to see?

TYSON: Hey, the executives said, Mike, don`t say anything.

HAMMER: And you listen to those executives?

TYSON: Big time.

HAMMER: So you`re a movie star. A Broadway star. You have obviously come such a long way and clearly you`re in a much different space than you were some 20 years ago.

TYSON: No, five years ago.

HAMMER: Well, that as well, but talking about what happened some 20 years ago, you went to prison for three years after being convicted of raping a beauty pageant contestant. And I know you still maintain your innocence in that case. But if you would, take me back to the moment. You step into that cell. The door closes behind you. What`s going through your mind at that time?

TYSON: I`m very depressed. I really prepared for it. So I was prepared to go through the situation. But I just wanted to live my life, every day. That`s what you had to do. Everything you had outside, you have to check it at the door and go into this place a different person.

HAMMER: Well, it`s been an absolute pleasure sitting here and talking with you, Mike.

TYSON: Thank you, brother AJ.

HAMMER: And now a "SHOWBIZ" newsmaker interview with the fantastic Fantasia. She of course blew away the world when she won "American Idol" back in 2004. Since then, what a ride. She has won multiple Grammys, she`s become a Broadway hit, and she has also gone through very, very hard times. I mean tough, including a breakdown and some serious money problems. But now she has just released this fantastic brand new album. It`s called "The Side Effects of You." And Fantasia is right here to reveal everything to me about her big ups and her big downs. Look at you. You look amazing.

FANTASIA, SINGER: Thank you. So do you.

HAMMER: Not that I should be surprised. Well, thank you very much. I could see you coming from a mile away. That`s fantastic.

Now, first of all, I got to say, Fantasia, your latest return to "American Idol," it was stunning. I thought it was just terrific. Let`s take a look at you back on that "Idol" stage, performing your new song, "Lose to Win."

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: That`s where it all started for you, of course. And I remember, Fantasia, and I`ve told you this before, I was among the many people who, the moment I heard you sing for the first time, I knew you were going to take it all. But tell me what it was like going back home again to that stage.

FANTASIA: For me, it`s always good. It just reminds you where you come from. At that time, there was a lot going on. Everything going on in Boston. Some of my band members had just lost their father on that day. So for me, I didn`t get as nervous as I usually do, because I wanted to dedicate that song and actually be a vessel to, like, just inspire people and be a blessing to people to say, you know, sometimes you lose, but it will get better, you will win again.

HAMMER: And we really felt it coming through in your performance. And if anybody knows about things getting bad and then getting better again, look, it`s definitely you. Come on. Between your "Idol" return and your new album, a lot of great things are happening for you right now. But of course, not long ago, quite a story. You went through some serious lows. We watched what appeared to be a suicide attempt playing out on your reality show. How are you doing now? You look like you`re great. But what`s going on inside?

FANTASIA: Thank you. You know, for me, I had to get to a place where I really don`t care about the industry and being number one and having so much money and cars and all this other stuff. For me, I had to realize that it`s just the simple things in life that sometimes we forget. We want so much. So in the mornings when I wake up, I`m just glad to be here. I have two beautiful kids. I just want to share my music. I no longer give my emotions to the industry and to the career. Because it doesn`t care about your emotions. So at this point, I`m just living my life for me, and I`m happy with that.

HAMMER: That is so great to hear and see it coming out in that smile. But of course, look, there is still, despite your best intentions, there is a lot to manage between the business and of course your own family. And it does seem like, as we have watched on your reality show, that your family might have played a big part in your breakdown. You even said that they were taking advantage of you at one point. You actually had what? Six members of your family living with you, all of course was caught on your old reality show. Let`s take a look at that.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I don`t know what Tasia is going to say when she sees it all.

FANTASIA: What the -- what the? Oh my god! Steven!

HAMMER: I know you remember that. Are you laughing at how you were screaming?

FANTASIA: I`m laughing at everything. Let me say this to you, A.J. My family is the best thing that could ever happen to me. In those down times, they are the ones that will always be there when everybody walks off and leaves. You know, I think when I say my family kind of, you know, was standing in the way of a lot of things, let me change that. I think I was standing in the way of things for them, because I created that monster. I was always taking care of and doing everything. Now that I have moved myself out the way, both of my brothers are doing very great. My younger brother is about to start a group. My mother is about to do a gospel album. My auntie Bonnie (ph), I`m about to get with her to do some radio things. When you let cameras in, I think it can be a blessing and it can be a curse. For us, it was a curse.

HAMMER: Well, and it sounds like from what everything you just said, that you have some boundaries and some balance in place where it comes to family, where you didn`t before so much.

HAMMER: Well, let`s move from your past now to your future. Because I`m making things happen for you or I`d like to see things happen. Big buzz of course about these brand new reports that "American Idol" might have a secret plan to dump Mariah as a judge right in the middle of the season. I got to know, if the "Idol" producers gave you a call and said, Fantasia, you would be perfect, we want you as a judge on "Idol," please come on back, what are you doing?

FANTASIA: No, they didn`t give me that call, but I am looking for that call. I would love to go back to "Idol." You know, being a music baby and raised up in music, I have an ear for music, and not just R&B, not just gospel, but all types of music. So if they ever call me, I would. Now, with the Mariah thing, I think that that is a mistake. Because Mariah is music. She`s a legend and she has an ear for it. So I don`t agree with it. But I would love to go.

HAMMER: I think you would be perfect, and I think what they really need to do is bring back a former winner as a full-time judge. It`s always great seeing you, Fantasia. Every year, we really look forward to "People" magazine`s most beautiful issue, and I have to admit I think our favorite part of the whole magazine is seeing some of Hollywood`s top stars without a drop of make-up. Joining me from "People," senior editor, Michelle Tan, here in New York. So Michelle, I know we love this issue. We love seeing these stars without make-up, but why are we so obsessed with seeing these stars without makeup?

MICHELLE TAN, PEOPLE MAGAZINE: What`s so refreshing about our no make-up feature is we usually see these celebrities in the trappings of Hollywood, we see them on TV or on the red carpet, and they`re so done up. And what`s so refreshing is we get to see them in their natural state. And for them, it`s even a release. Though some of them are a little nervous, they were really excited to just show off their natural beauty.

HAMMER: And we are looking at some of these stars that you`re featuring in the magazine. You have Olivia Munn in there, Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato. Do you think this helps women, especially young women really embrace their beauty?

TAN: Absolutely. It sends a message to definitely be confident in your natural beauty. We all have make-up tricks. We all have beauty tricks we love to do, but there is a comfort in your own skin. And that`s a really great message that all of these stars are sending through this feature.

HAMMER: And as you said, we see these women most of the time all glammed up, and look, they always look so stunning, but you said some of them were nervous. How tough was it to get them to take it all off for your cameras?

TAN: Well, you saw Morena Baccarin earlier. She was really nervous. She didn`t know what to expect, and she actually said she`s been self-conscious about the dark circles under her eyes that she`s actually had since she was 15, but she found the entire experience liberating. And for people who are performers, like Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato, this was a treat for them, because they are usually so made up that a natural state is just what they want most.

HAMMER: It must be quite a conversation when you`re figuring out who to feature make-up-less. Tell us how that happens. How does that discussion go?

TAN: You know, what we do is it`s just like talking to friends. Who are you interested? What celebs do you love? And that`s who we want to feature. We really want to feature, again, people who send that positive message about natural beauty and really being comfortable in their own skin.

HAMMER: Well, you certainly do a great job of it year after year, because it is so fascinating, and I know a lot of people go right to those pages. Michelle Tan, thank you so much.
