DIAZ: The full-scale Trayvon Martin crime scene re-enacted. And it was just unveiled on "HLN AFTER DARK." Tonight, we`ve got the inside details about the dramatic recreation at the center of the George Zimmerman case.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT starts right now.
Hello, I`m Carlos Diaz in for A.J. Hammer. And tonight, in the "SHOWBIZ Countdown," the top three "SHOWBIZ Shockers" today.
Kicking off the showdown, at No. 3, big drama today in a Florida courtroom, where the first witnesses took the stand in the George Zimmerman trial. The trial, seen live all day here on HLN.
And a startling moment. The jury saw photos of Trayvon Martin`s body, shot dead by George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watchman in Sanford, Florida, who claims he killed the teenager in self-defense.
This trial is captivating the entire nation, watching intently on TV. Explosive issues of race and gun control at the center of the whole thing.
And tonight on "HLN AFTER DARK," we saw the crime scene re-enacted. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asked "HLN AFTER DARK" co-host Vinnie Politan and HLN law enforcement analyst Mike Brooks to walk us through it.
VINNIE POLITAN, HLN ANCHOR: Thanks, Carlos. You`re looking at a scale model of the shooting scene recreation that we`ve built here at "HLN AFTER DARK." I`m here with Mike Brooks. And I`m going to start here on our scale model just to give you some perspective of what happened and where everyone was.
George Zimmerman makes that first call to police from the clubhouse here, and apparently, he saw Trayvon Martin walking, and then Trayvon Martin headed in this direction. George Zimmerman at some point makes this right- hand turn down the street and then parks here.
This is a sidewalk, and apparently, according to Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin disappears between these two rows of townhomes, and Zimmerman then gets out of the vehicle. He then walks around here and at some point, there`s a confrontation near this "T" of the sidewalk, which ends up in between the two rows of the townhouses.
Now, let me take you to our scene that we built here, and this is really that "T" intersection of the sidewalk that we have put together here. And you can see how close they are to some of the homes here. These are where the eye and ear witnesses are that called 911.
Now, Mike, why don`t you show everyone some of the evidence that was found at the scene.
BROOKS: Carlos, we`ve got some of these markers here, the evidence markers, the object markers.
No. 1, this was a -- this was a key with a small flashlight. We think that may be was what we might have heard him pounding trying to get to work, because apparently it didn`t.
No. 2 is a bag from 7-Eleven, a tan plastic bag.
No. 3, the white plastic Wal-Mart bag that had some blood residue. We believe that that`s the bag that was used by first responders to put over the sucking chest wound, the gunshot wound, while they were rendering aid.
No. 4, there was a first aid kit here.
Then there was a larger flashlight at marker No. 5.
Number -- at marker No. 7, this is Trayvon Martin`s cell phone and ear buds.
No. 8 was the .9 millimeter shell casing, cartridge casing.
And No. 6, this is where Trayvon Martin`s body came to rest. You see the Arizona watermelon fruit drink, a lighter from 7-Eleven and the bag of Skittles with the gray hoodie.
POLITAN: And Carlos, one thing: from where we are right now, where Trayvon Martin was killed, you just continue down this sidewalk -- I walked it, it`s less than 40 seconds away from the house he was staying in. So, that`s part of the tragedy that we have here.
But we have rebuilt it because everything that happens here is going to determine whether or not George Zimmerman is guilty or not guilty of murder.

DIAZ: Thanks, Vinnie. I appreciate it. Thank you so much to Mike Brooks, as well.
Today really was a tough day for people in the courtroom at the George Zimmerman trial. Lots of graphic testimony about the night Trayvon Martin was killed, including close-up photos of the teenager`s body and of the bullet wound that killed him.
At that point, Trayvon`s parents, understandably, left the courtroom.
Judge Alex Ferrer joins us now from Orlando. He is the host of TV`s "Judge Alex." And he`s a former criminal court judge and a respected cop, as well.
Judge Alex, you must have seen this before, relatives of an alleged murder victim in court, hearing graphic testimony, seeing horrific pictures about the night their loved one died. How tough is it for them in that courtroom?
ALEX FERRER, HOST, "JUDGE ALEX": Well, you can imagine, Carlos, it`s a very, very difficult thing to sit through. I mean, having lost your child, I can`t imagine anything that`s more painful than that, having to then relive it in vivid color, with photographs of your son`s body laying on the grass, pictures of the bullet wound in his chest, which actually pierced his heart. Just -- I can`t imagine anything worse for a parent to have to go through.
And this case started somewhat slowly today with the testimony of some lower -- I shouldn`t say importance, but significance witnesses, and then quickly picked up when it got to the testimony of the police officer who showed up there first and performed CPR. Even he didn`t have a mask with him, which he`s supposed to use to protect himself from any diseases, because he doesn`t know who it is. It just took off from there.
DIAZ: I`ve got to ask you very quickly, why were prosecutors trying -- what were they trying to establish by showing pictures of Trayvon`s dead body, very quickly?
FERRER: Well, that is standard in every homicide case. I mean, you -- they`re going to establish -- they`re going to build a wall of evidence, and they have to do it brick by brick. And they will show everything that has to be prevented to the whole story to the jury.
And the big significant part of that is the death of the victim. I mean, that is an element of the crime that has to be established. And I`ve never seen a murder case where they -- if they have a picture of the body that they don`t show it to the jury, as difficult as it is.
DIAZ: Yes. And Judge Alex, I`ve got to tell you, I mean, it was one of those situations where, when I saw that dead body, it was startling to see on TV, on HLN, for the brief time that it was shown on HLN.
All right, there`s lots more drama to come, and HLN will be carrying the trial live every day.
Now, that makes -- that takes us to our No. 2 "SHOWBIZ Shocker" on the "SHOWBIZ Countdown," brand-new revelations today about why basketball legend Scottie Pippen allegedly beat up an autograph seeker in front of a restaurant in Malibu. No one is publicly saying what supposedly set Pippen off.
Scottie won, of course, six NBA titles with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls back in the `90s.
But today`s "New York Daily News" reports that the guy who got beat up by Pippen called Scottie the "N" word and spit on him while Pippen was holding his 4-year-old daughter.

Jackie, police questioned Pippen but didn`t arrest him. But if the "Daily News" story proves to be true -- and so far it is not confirmed -- it would explain a lot. Now Pippen isn`t known for randomly beating up people, right?
JACKIE PEPPER, FREELANCE SPORTS PRODUCER: Ah, no, he`s not. But he is known as being one of the more intense characters in NBA history. He`s a Hall of Famer. He`s won six championships. He was an original member of the dream team. You don`t get to that level of perfection in athletics without having a strong will and being a very intense guy.
Just last year, I interviewed fellow Hall of Famer David Robinson, who played with Scottie on the `92 Dream Team, and he used words to describe him such as intense, high-energy, said that this guy has a work ethic like no other.
So, I would imagine that, if you`re out with your family and somebody is hounding you for an autograph and then drops the "N" word on you, well, I can`t even blame Scottie if that`s really what happened. That`s awful.
DIAZ: Let`s bring Judge Alex back in real quick.
Judge Alex, if it did happen as reported, could being spit on and called the "N" word be a legal reason, legally, for beating somebody up?
FERRER: Well, yes and no. I mean, just words, as vicious and as disgusting as it is to use those type of words, typically that does not justify physical action under the eyes of the law.
However, spitting, absolutely. Spitting is a physical act; it`s a battery and would justify a reaction. And if you`re going to pick a fight with somebody, 6`8" Scottie Pippen is not the one you want to pick a fight with.
DIAZ: Yes, a very good point.
Jackie, this is all reportedly. It all started over an autograph and pictures. Pippen is known as the kind of star who embraces his fans when they approach him. I mean, this is not Dennis Rodman. I`m not saying bad things about Dennis Rodman, but Dennis Rodman has been known as the controversial one. Scottie Pippen, not so much, correct?
PEPPER: Yes, I mean, for of all people for this to happen to, this is a surprise. I wouldn`t expect this from Scottie. You saw him out at a Chicago Blackhawks game recently in the crowd. He seems at least semi- personable.
And listen, when you`re at a place like Nobu in Malibu, all the Nobu`s around, they are celebrity hot spots. There are people who come there for autographs and who come there to see stars. So that`s a risk that you have to take when you`re a celebrity. Scottie does that just by walking
DIAZ: Right.
PEPPER: But it sounds like there was more to this altercation otherwise charges would have been filed by now, I would think.
DIAZ: And I`m sure there`s much more to this story that we`ll find out later.
Jackie, Judge Alex, we`ve still got to reveal the day`s No. 1 "SHOWBIZ Shocker," so stick around. It`s another sports confrontation, although a less violent one.

DIAZ: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, where we are counting down today`s top three "SHOWBIZ Shockers" in the "SHOWBIZ Countdown."
And now, the big reveal. Our No. 1 "SHOWBIZ Shocker." "Mean Girls" on the tennis court. Tennis superstars Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova talking smack about each other and about each other`s boyfriends.
It all started with a crack Serena made in "Rolling Stone" magazine, apparently about Maria, who is reportedly dating Serena`s ex. Let`s break down this tennis grudge match, where there is no love.
First set. Serena apparently bashes Maria, reportedly saying in "Rolling Stone," quote, "She`s still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it," end quote. Wow.
Second set, Maria shoots back with a crack about Serena`s alleged romantic exploits.

MARIA SHARAPOVA, TENNIS STAR: She wants to talk about something personal, you know, maybe we should talk about her relationship and, you know, her boyfriend now is, you know, married and is getting a divorce and has kids.

DIAZ: Oh. And the third set, Serena`s return. And it`s an apology she says she personally delivered to Maria.

WILLIAMS: I said, "Look, I want to personally apologize to you. If you are offended by what -- by being brought into a -- being brought into my situation. And I want to take that -- this moment to just pour myself and be open and say I am very sorry for this whole situation."

DIAZ: Hmm. Who has the advantage? And is this grudge match over? Are there more volleys in store?
Freelance sports reporter Jackie Pepper is back with us tonight in Hollywood.
Jackie, talking smack about each other`s boyfriends? Should we be shocked that the two biggest women superstars in the world of tennis are getting so down and dirty? And I`ll even say it: they`re getting a little petty here. Should we be surprised?
PEPPER: Probably not, although with Maria Sharapova, it is surprising. Because if Serena was, indeed, talking about her in that "Rolling Stone" article, she alludes to the fact that this mystery player is boring, doesn`t have much of a life outside of tennis, so, if it was Maria, kudos to her for proving Serena wrong, because she got down and dirty right along with her. I actually love the fact that she finally showed some personality.
And if you look at the 45 seconds before that last bit in her press conference, Sharapova was taking the high road. She said, you know, "This is -- this should be about tennis; we should be focused on winning" and then it was like she just couldn`t hold her tongue any longer.
DIAZ: You can`t kind of take the high road. Either you take the high road or you don`t. She took the high road...
PEPPER: She took the high road, and then she jumped off of it.
DIAZ: And then you jump off of it. I feel sorry for her if she`s going to be that way, you know.
Lauren Lake is going to help us judge this. She`s the judge on a new court show launching this fall called "Paternity Court." Lauren, are you team Maria or team Serena?
LAUREN LAKE, JUDGE, "PATERNITY COURT": They both lose. I cannot stand it. Both are guilty of just being so petty.
Carlos, we`ve got the "Real Housewives." We don`t need the real tennis pros going at it, too.
When these ladies -- I`m sorry, they`ve reached this level in their professional careers. They don`t need attention from this. I mean, it`s different on reality shows when women don`t have anything else to be famous for, so they get to cat fighting. These young women are doing amazing things on the court, amazing things with their lives, and it sets a terrible example.
This is so petty and so small, and I want them both to stop it. Now that they`ve apologized, I hope we don`t hear anything else from either one of them except their rackets hitting a ball.
DIAZ: I completely disagree with you, because this -- If these two play each other in the Wimbledon final, you`re going to so watch that. OK, there`s a lot of history...
LAKE: Of course you`re going to watch it. But I don`t want them to do this in real life, because I want there to be some women out here for our young girls to be able to look at and say, "It doesn`t always come down to a cat fight to make me famous."
DIAZ: Man, you had to bring up the young girls and the morals thing. Fine, I agree with you now. You won me over!
LAKE: Yes. It`s the judge in me.
DIAZ: It is. You totally -- your honor, you won me over. That`s it. OK, fine. I like the cat fights.
Jackie, Lauren, you guys are awesome. Thank you so much.

DIAZ: Tonight, we`ve got our very own panda watch. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you there seems to be a rash of zoo animals making a break for it from their caged homes.
The latest escapee is a red panda. He got lost, but he got found -- by Twitter! Here`s CNN`s Athena Jones with this "SHOWBIZ Wild Escape."

ATHENA JONES, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Panda-monium in this Washington, D.C., neighborhood. All to capture this little guy. A ten pound red panda named Rusty. The tree-climbing bamboo-eating animal just shy of a year old escaped from the Smithsonian National Zoo sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Also, they are great climbers and they can go -- because they`re so light, they can go way out on a branch.
JONES: When zoo officials didn`t see Rusty and his long bushy tail in his enclosure early Monday, they launched a code green alert. It`s like an all-points bulletin for animals.
(on camera): The search for Rusty ended here in this neighborhood, just a few blocks from the zoo. Zoo officials found him behind this house high up in a tree.
(voice-over): Eric Alda lives in the house where Rusty was found, uninjured.
ERIC ALDA, RESIDENT: I`m glad that, you know, they managed to catch him. Yes. My five minutes of fame.
JONES: By mid-day, there were at least six Twitter accounts dedicated to Rusty, posting jokes like this one: "Sorry @nationalzoo, it`s just such a beautiful day out. I`m hitting the town. @Bronxzoocobra, let`s meet up."
That`s right. Rusty is just the latest critter to go on the lam and tweet about it. Remember the cobra that went missing from the Bronx Zoo in 2011? The snake was eventually found safe and sound.
And there was the peacock that flew the coop from the Central Park Zoo that same year. He later returned home on his own, no worse for wear.
All proof that, well, it`s a jungle out there.

DIAZ: Are Paula`s sons making a big mistake by firing back at their mom`s critics? Which epic showdown will be number one on tonight`s "SHOWBIZ Countdown?"

DIAZ: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz in for A.J. Hammer. Tonight on "SHOWBIZ Countdown," tonight`s top three showbiz showdowns.
Coming in at number three, Jim Carrey`s movie madness. Carrey`s sparking explosive new reaction tonight after somehow deciding that he cannot stand behind his own movie, "Kick-Ass 2" because it is so violent. Now, Carrey is refusing to promote the film, due to come out next month.
So, what`s the real story about his about face? Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Colonel Stars and Stripes reporting for duty.
NISCHELLE TURNER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: "Kick-Ass 2" finds itself in the crosshairs of public controversy. Film star Jim Carrey says the movie is too violent, tweeting, "I did kick ass a month before Sandy Hook and now, in all good conscience, I cannot support that level of violence. My apologies to others involved with the film. I am not ashamed of it, but recent events have caused a change in my heart." Some critics are a bit confused by Carrey`s turnaround.
CHRISTOPHER JOHN FARLEY, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: The whole thing is a little bit surprising, because I mean, the name of the movie is "Kick-Ass." This is "Kick-Ass 2", if (inaudible) didn`t get the message from the first "Kick-Ass," this is surprising he didn`t realize that is this movie does. It kicks butt.
TURNER: Carrey was one of many Hollywood stars who came out against gun violence after the Sandy Hook massacre. Some called Hollywood hypocritical for making billions of dollars on movies with gratuitous gun fights. This summer`s the blockbusters with the body counts certainly seem to be more of the same. Something Mark Millar, the creator of "Kick-Ass" defends. He responds to Carrey on his blog, saying, our job as storytellers is to entertain. And our tool box can`t be sabotaged by curtailing the use of guns in an action movie. Publicist Marvet Britto says Carrey missed an opportunity to make a point about violence.
MARVET BRITTO, GLOBAL PR AND BRAND STRATEGIST: In this instance, he`s called attention to the film by stepping away, but he didn`t use the opportunity and the platform to educate an audience on why he stepped away. And the importance of gun violence.

DIAZ: We bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner who first reported on the story. Nischelle, today, the backlash over Jim`s big about face got even worse. A brand new explosive op-ed slams Carrey. Hollywood writer Mike Fleming just posted this smackdown on deadline.com. Quote, "Rather than the high moral ground he seeks, Carrey seems like a star who cashed a big check to act in and promote a film and then turned his back on the second part of that bargain. Carrey`s stance won`t save a future massacre victim, but he has the chance to fuel discussion that can keep the hot button issue of gun violence in the public eye, which could be a good thing." Nischelle, he`s basically calling Jim a hypocrite. Can he expect more of the same blowback over this?
TURNER: Well, you know, I think he will hear some more of this. I mean I think he`s heard things on both side of the aisle, Carlos. Some people saying, good for you for taking this stance. Some people saying, well, you took a stance, but did you still collect the salary. And if you still profit off of this movie, are you really taking a stand? So, you know, he`s going to hear both. Until we hear from him, to say, OK, maybe I`m donating my salary, or maybe I`m not, you know, getting paid for this film, maybe I`m going to go that far. So, we don`t really know yet. But, yeah, he`s still going to continue to face some scrutiny.
DIAZ: You have to imagine Universal Studios is not happy with Carrey right about now. But could Jim sudden about-face actually make people want to go see this movie even more?
TURNER: Well, I think it has already. I mean there wasn`t a lot of buzz around this film just yet. The first one was very successful. It made almost $100 million, but -- you know, now that we`ve heard this and him saying it`s too violent, and this and it`s that, and I can`t promote it, I think any time you have something like that, the public is going to be interested. They`re going to be curious. And they`re going to wonder just how violent is it? We want to see, too. We want to know exactly what Jim`s talking about.

DIAZ: The new Lifetime show "Devious Maids" has sparked a firestorm and there are definitely two sides to this battle. Marc Cherry, the man who created the hit TV show "Desperate Housewives" and Eva Longoria who are behind this new show are in the spotlight. Some are applauding them for casting five Latino women in leading roles, but others are slamming them for playing into the Latino maid stereotype.
Joining me from New York, Cathy Areu who is the publisher of "Catalina" magazine. She has asked her readers to boycott the show. In Hollywood Inez Gonzalez who is the executive vice president for the National Hispanic Media Coalition. They are not buying into the "Devious Maids" controversy.
All right, Cathy, this is not the first time we`ve seen stereotypes on TV. Some Italians in "The Sopranos," "Jersey Shore", for that matter. So, why is this different in your eyes?
CATHY AREU, PUBLISHER, CATALINA MAGAZINE: Well, they are trying to say that this is historic, this is the first time we`ve had five Latinas having starring roles in the TV show. I mean we had Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman in the `70s, and she was - she is Mexican. So, it`s not historic that we have these Latinas in major roles. It`s horrific that we have five wonderful Latina actresses having to play housekeepers, a stereotype, in a new TV show. It`s very sad, when we had wonder woman, now we`re back to playing stereotypical roles?
DIAZ: The clip that we just showed, though, the clip that we just showed, showed basically them breaking down that stereotype by saying, you know, they don`t -- they don`t talk like this with a Spanish accent .
(LAUGHTER)
DIAZ: . they talk normal, I mean it`s - some say, it`s - I - when - it`s just a clip that I just saw, kind of breaks down .
AREU: But why wasn`t it the other way around? Why wasn`t the non-Hispanic woman the housekeeper and why wasn`t Ana Ortiz saying something about her?
DIAZ: OK. That`s a choice that Eva Longoria made in producing this show and -- meeting Eva Longoria and talking to her several times, she seems like she would be, you know, the first person to point out if there were stereotypes, you know, within the show. Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just spoke to Susan Lucci and Ana Ortiz who star in the show. Watch what Ana just told us about her own angst taking this role.

ANA ORTIZ: I can speak for the girls and say that we feel a tremendous responsibility to this. My grandmother cleaned houses her whole life and is it because she`s a maid, she doesn`t deserve to have her story told? She had a very full life and raised an incredible family and we were all huge successes. I wouldn`t be standing here today if it weren`t for her.

DIAZ: Inez, how do you see this whole controversy?
INEZ GONZALEZ, EXECUTIVE V.P. FOR NAT`L HISPANIC MEDIA COALITION: We understand why people are so sick and tired of seeing the stereotype of the Latina maid, however, the HMC does see this show as an opportunity for these five Latina regulars to launch their careers like Eva Longoria did on "Desperate Housewives." And there is two writers on the show, there is two executive producers. So - so, we want the show to get a fair chance and not to be boycotted. Get a fair chance to develop the characters and then if people don`t like it, then, you know, it will be canceled. But we want it to have a fair shot because we don`t get these types of shows. And Cathy just said, it was in 1970 that we had "Wonder Woman."
DIAZ: Cathy, you`re shaking your head. Why are you shaking your head?
AREU: I`m shaking my head because these Latinas have played wonderful roles in other shows. Judy Reyes was in "Scrubs", she was an equal (ph) in "Scrubs", Dania Ramirez was in "Heroes." She was a hero. She was a wonder woman in that wonderful NBC TV show. So, these women have had wonderful roles. We don`t need "Devious Maids" to bring wonderful Latina actresses to TV. As a matter of fact .
GONZALEZ: I don`t think .
AREU: Yeah.
GONZALEZ: I don`t think that the actresses would agree with you, Cathy. They would like to have the opportunity to launch their careers.
AREU: They have wonderful careers in Hollywood and they want other roles. I don`t think they wanted this role. They want jobs. They want (inaudible) jobs.
DIAZ: I have an idea for a TV show. A Hispanic women arguing on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. That would be good, because there is a lot of drama going on right now and I wish we can talk about it more. But guys, we have to go. Cathy, Inez, thank you so much for joining us. I really appreciate it.

At number two, "Devious Maids" outrage. The huge debate over Eva Longoria`s new TV show that features Latinas as maids. Critics are saying it is demeaning to Latinas.
That takes us to the big reveal of our number one on our countdown of tonight`s top three showbiz showdowns. And it`s Paula Deen`s sons, Jamie and Bobby, defending their mom today and firing back about her growing racism controversy. After admitting she used the n-word. They spoke exclusively this morning on CNN`s "NEW DAY." Watch what they told Chris Cuomo.

JAMIE DEEN, PAULA DEEN`S SON: My mother would never teach Bobby and I anything other -- we are obviously a product of our environment. We care very much about our community. I`m raising two boys right now. This is ridiculous. It`s completely absurd to think that there`s an environment of racism in our business. And it`s really disrespectful to the people that we work with.
BOBBY DEEN: She has never said those words to me. My mother has never taught to me that it was acceptable to say terrible things or use vile language against other people or to use words as a weapon.

DIAZ: Bobby and Jamie Deen, they`re saying this is not who they are. Now, attorney Lauren Lake is with us tonight in Hollywood. Lauren is a judge on the upcoming brand new court show "Paternity Court." So, Paula Deen`s first attempts at putting this mess to rest with her bizarre Youtube video apologies went horribly wrong. Lauren, I`m thinking her sons couldn`t do any worse, but did this really help Paula?
LAKE: Unfortunately, Carlos, it`s not going to help her that much. I mean, them speaking out and standing up for their mom is expected. And they are trying to save their empire. So, a lot of people are saying, is this definitely momma-driven or more importantly, money-driven? And at the end of the day, when you are talking about a woman that hasn`t denied kind of wanting to create a wedding that glorified or reminisced about slavery times, that`s really hard to overcome. Unfortunately, Paula, you have gotten yourself in some deep water, or fried yourself, as people are saying.

DIAZ: Well, the sons have spoken, unedited on live TV and tomorrow, it`s Paula`s turn. She`s set to appear on "The Today Show." But some of her fans think even that`s a bad idea.
On the SHOWBIZ Facebook page, here`s what SHOWBIZ fan Betty wrote. "She said she was sorry she used the n-word 30 years ago and all the talk shows have criticized her. So, she should refuse to say anything else. No matter what she says, people are going to say bad things. Paula, hold your head up."
Let me get Nikki Boyer in here with us, she`s in New York. Nicky is the host of Yahoo!`s "Daytime in No Time." Nikki, you agree with Betty? Should Paula Deen bail out on "The Today Show" again like she did last week and just keep it zipped from here on out?
NIKKI BOYER, HOST, YAHOO!`S DAYTIME IN NO TIME: Well, I don`t necessarily think she should bail out. I think she should stop scheduling herself on "The Today Show." I think it`s time for Paula and her family just to be a little bit quiet. Sometimes the best response is one that takes a few days or maybe even a few weeks to think about, to let it settle down. But all of these Youtube videos, her coming out tomorrow on "The Today Show." I feel like it`s almost - it`s almost become a life of its own and I feel like I`m .
LAKE: Yes.
BOYER: . right now, I`m almost confused about what we`re talking about.
LAKE: But Nikki, I got to disagree with you. I mean if it was you, and your reputation at stake and you were given a platform like "The Today Show" you are saying, you`d gone - No, I don`t need it, you know what - I`m good .
BOYER: Well .
LAKE: But you would be quiet when all these people are attacking you? I`m not siding with Paula Deen, but I`m saying ..
BOYER: Right.
LAKE: This is her chance to defend herself on a national platform.
BOYER: I believe, I hear you. And I believe if it was me, I probably would take the opportunity. But I think she should look at the past four, five things that she has done .
LAKE: Yes.
BOYER: When she is chosen, and they are not chosen, and gone back and forth. Now, it sort of like .
LAKE: Exactly. Carlos .
BOYER: Do you agree?
LAKE: She`s so right. Get a plan. First, you put one video. You take it down, you do another one. I`m too tired to go on "The Today" show, I got some rest now, Matt. I mean, you have got to get a plan together.
DIAZ: Yeah, obviously not too much planning going into any of the comments that she`s made, starting, of course, with the first comment that started this whole thing. Lauren, Nikki, thank you guys so much.

DIAZ: Now Jenner says that the baby is not scheduled on her show, but Nikki, how could she pass up this opportunity? I`m going to give you 30 seconds to make your case for why baby North should be Jenner`s first guest? Here`s (inaudible). Go.
BOYER: OK. Well, first of all, the Kardashians have been known to always be intertwined and giving press to each other`s projects, and I think this is a pretty big project for Kim. So, I`m going to go ahead and say that Grandma Jenner on July 15th is most likely going to have the first pics, the first look at her grandbaby. Because let`s be honest. I don`t really know what else would bring people to the Kris Jenner talk show. I did say it.
DIAZ: Wow.
BOYER: No, but I mean honestly, I think that`s how I feel.
DIAZ: You are a mean person. You are a very mean person. No and I .

DIAZ: I think the baby is going to love, in 16 years when it realized -- she realizes that she was called a project. Let`s move on now to our second SHOWBIZ quick hit tonight. And Justin Bieber banned for bad behavior. The Las Vegas indoor sky diving company is banning Bieber forever after he and his friends reportedly used the place, made a mess of it and refused to pay the $1,600 bill. That`s pocket change to the Biebs, right?
The company claims they even gave Bieber the option of tweeting a picture of himself showing he was there instead of paying them money, but he didn`t do that either. And now, they`ve closed the doors on Bieber forever. Nikki, Bieber cannot seem to keep himself out of the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Put yourself in the Bieb`s place right now. With all the bad headlines galore, how do you fix this one? You`ve got 30 seconds. Go.
BOYER: OK. The first thing I would do if I was in Justin Bieber shows, is I would change them, because they are probably hideous.
DIAZ: OK.
BOYER: Second of all .

BOYER: I would definitely be - I would be a little more generous, if I were Justin Bieber. I would take care of my mistakes. I would pay the company a very hefty apology fee. I would tweet about them and say thank you and put it to rest. He just needs to grow up a little bit and realize he doesn`t have to be such a bad boy all the time to be cool and that`s my case, Bieber -- take a lesson. Please?
DIAZ: That`s a great thing. And I think that whole bad boy thing? He`s being more boy than bad.
