HAMMER: Oprah in her own words about how she nearly had a nervous breakdown. The queen of talk made her amazing confession to "Access Hollywood`s" Shaun Robinson, and Shaun is right here tonight.
Plus sex in a box. Are people really about to have sex on TV? Wait until you hear about the bizarre new talk show that some people are calling porn in disguise.

I`m A.J. Hammer. Thank you for watching. Tonight in our "SHOWBIZ Countdown," we`ve got today`s top three brand-new confessions.
Let`s get right to it. Kick it off at No. 3 with Oprah in her own words and her confession about nearly having a nervous breakdown. And Wednesday for the first time we`re going to see and hear Oprah herself revealing why she almost had that breakdown.
Today SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got the first look at the "Access Hollywood" interview that everybody is talk about. Oprah spoke to "Access Hollywood`s" Shaun Robinson, who is with us tonight from Hollywood.
It`s always great seeing you, Shaun, and congratulations on this amazing worldwide exclusive.
I have to tell you, it is so fascinating to hear Oprah revealing when she realized that she was actually having a breakdown or potentially having a breakdown, it was when she was interviewing the creator of the film "Kony 2012," who had his own very public breakdown when he was seen on video, running naked in the streets of San Diego.
I want to watch what Oprah told you about that.

WINFREY: I was sitting, listening to Jason Russell describe his symptoms. I was sitting, listening to him describe his systems, saying this sounds pretty familiar to me.
SHAUN ROBINSON, "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD": What were the symptoms?
WINFREY: The symptoms were just, you know, sort of like in the beginning just sort of speeding and a kind of numbness and going from one thing to the next thing to the next thing.

HAMMER: Now, I`m watching that in my office today, Shaun, and it just hit me again how we think that she is this indestructible woman. It have to imagine, sitting across from her, it was pretty shocking for you to hear her admit that "Yes, you know what? I`m a human; I reached my breaking point."
ROBINSON: Well, A.J., always nice to be with you. Thank you for having me. I had no idea this interview was going to blow up the way it has. I`m telling you, I have had people calling me from all over saying, "Did Oprah have a nervous breakdown?" Let me just tell you no. Oprah did not a nervous breakdown.
But what she was describing is -- were her feelings that she was going through when she was interviewing Jason Russell, who as we know, had a nervous breakdown. And she was going -- he was telling her how he felt during that time. And she had a mental checklist, and she was saying, "OK, I`ve experienced this. I`ve experienced this. I`ve experienced this."
And what she was actually describing, A.J., was something that I think we have all felt.
HAMMER: Oh, yes.
ROBINSON: Anybody who is -- who day-to-day living in a very stressful environment. How many times have I said, "Oh, my gosh. I feel like I`m just going to lose it"?
And Oprah is human. And what she was talking about were these symptoms like, "You know what? I`m the big `O,` but still, I have my limits."
HAMMER: But the other thing that I found fascinating in your interview, among the many things, was Oprah getting very real about working with Lindsay Lohan who -- let`s face it -- is always a handful.
We saw Oprah interview Lindsay last month. I thought it was a terrific interview when she sat down with Lindsay. Lindsay`s first interview since leaving rehab.
And at around the same time, Lindsay had agreed to do this docu-series that`s going to air on the OWN network next year. But Oprah told you that the problems with the docu-series started almost immediately. So Oprah had to pay Lindsay a little visit.

WINFREY: I just went up there to have a talk about how things were going. Because we were having some trouble in the beginning with...
ROBINSON: Her not showing up?
WINFREY: Well, not just not showing up, but there was a lot of chaos going on with the crews and the times and the things that were happening. So I went to have a conversation -- a real conversation about that, to say to her, "Do you want to do it? Because if you don`t want to do it, that`s OK. We can just end it. We don`t have to do it."
ROBINSON: And what did she say?
WINFREY: She said she wants to do it. So let`s get to it. So I had that conversation.
ROBINSON: And then -- so it was a kind of a "come to Jesus" meeting you had with Lindsay?
WINFREY: It wasn`t come to Jesus. It was come to Oprah.

HAMMER: And there -- pardon me for saying this: There are those who would say it`s the same thing.
ROBINSON: Yes.
HAMMER: But Oprah made it pretty clear that she`s not playing with Lindsay.
ROBINSON: You`re right. Can you imagine the big "O" coming, knocking on your door, saying, "Look, I need to talk to you"? And that is what Lindsay was confronted with. Oprah is like, "Look, we`re not playing around. I`m giving you this chance, and you`re not going to squander it."
HAMMER: I was optimistic that Lindsay wasn`t going to need that coming to Oprah moment. But we`re looking forward to more of that conversation about Lindsay with Oprah. And I know you`ll have more things you`ll be talking to Oprah about in this multi-part interview.
ROBINSON: Including marriage. Including will she get married?
HAMMER: You got the scoop, Shaun.
ROBINSON: Yes.

Well, now we`ve got to get to No. 2 in our "SHOWBIZ Countdown" of today`s brand-new "True Confessions." It`s Leah Remini`s shocking confession about how her split from the Church of Scientology is actually affecting her performance on "Dancing with the Stars."
You`ll remember Leah left the church this summer after more than 30 years. And she claimed on "Dancing with the Stars" last night that the church is not only messing with her confidence but that they`re actually keeping an eye on how she`s doing on the show, not to applaud, however.

LEAH REMINI, ACTRESS: I was always so scared to be myself or used to everything that happens to us is our fault. You`re used to taking a lot of negativity on yourself. The church is looking for me to fail so they can say to their parishioners, "You see what happens when you leave the church?" That they`re waiting for me to fail.

HAMMER: I was so looking forward to sitting at home, watching this show last night, "Dancing with the Stars." And I was so surprised to see that Leah would be talking about the Church of Scientology so openly on the show.
Well, I am thrilled to have by my side here in New York, the amazing Sheryl Lee Ralph. Love you, Sheryl Lee Ralph.
SHERYL LEE RALPH, ACTRESS: Thank you.
HAMMER: Of course, you just starred on an amazing season of the Showtime hit "Ray Donovan." Great on that.
RALPH: Thank you.
HAMMER: And your new show, "Instant Mom," debuts Sunday night on Nick Jr. and Nick at Nite. Sheryl is also the founder of the Diva Foundation. The "Divas Simply Singing" show to benefit HIV/AIDS awareness is going down in L.A. on October 12.
So Leah seemed to hint that she went on "Dancing with the Stars" to kind of stick it to the Church of Scientology. I like her a lot, but I have to believe it`s kind of a bad idea to prolong this feud and bring more attention to it.
RALPH: I don`t like feuds, because any time you`re carrying on a feud with somebody, it means that you have not gotten over it. And I don`t know how they do things in the Church of Scientology. Had she been a Baptist or any other thing, I`m sure one of those bishops might have been placing a call saying, "Now, you know, church business is church business."
HAMMER: Doesn`t belong on ABC prime time.
RALPH: Thank you.
HAMMER: All right. Well, also with us, to judge the dispute tonight is the judge herself. Lauren Lake is with us from Hollywood, the new judge on the syndicated program, "Paternity Court."
Lauren, I`ve got what do you think of Leah bringing her beef with Scientology to a dancing show on network TV?
LAUREN LAKE, JUDGE, "PATERNITY COURT": You know, what surprised me, A.J., is that she said the church wanted her to fail. I mean, that strikes me as just so odd. I`ve never heard of a church that would wish anyone to fail.
If you choose to leave the church, it should be voluntarily, if that`s your wish. So be it. We wish you well. But that concerned me.
And I think people who are practicing scientologists -- I don`t know much about that particular faith -- but I am hoping that they aren`t wishing anybody to fail at anything. I don`t think that`s appropriate.
HAMMER: Well, they`re talking about it, Lauren. And here`s what the Church of Scientology told ABC today in response to what Leah was saying on their show. You know, that they wanted her to fail.
They said, "We know this may come as surprise to someone as self-absorbed as Ms. Remini, but we could care less if she wins or loses on `Dancing with the Stars`."
We also reached out to her today and did not hear back as of show time.
We are down to our No. 1 true confession of the day. Sheryl, Lauren, I need you to stay where you are, because the big reveal in just a moment.
And here`s something that`s even more revealing than Leah Remini`s bold confession. You remember that famous "SNL" digital short with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg, right?

HAMMER: This is wild to see. He was part of the squeaky clean Backstreet Boys, and now former boy band star Nick Carter is confessing to Dr. Phil the horrifying and tragic story of his addiction to drugs.
Nick Carter is No. 1 in our "SHOWBIZ Countdown" of today`s top tree brand- new confessions. He was brutally honest with Dr. Phil about his drug addiction and all the partying he did during and after his boy band days. And he tells stories that are just the kind that make your hair stand on end. You`ve got to watch what he told Dr. Phil about his drug habit when he was a teenager and how it all exploded after he took up with a certain hard-partying socialite.

CARTER: It`s definitely easy to fall into drugs, especially when you come from a family without drugs and alcohol.
I was probably 15 or 16 when I started smoking weed. Then I moved to Ecstasy and tried Vicodins and Oxycodones. I got addicted to those. And in 2004 I was really hard into drinking and drugs, and that`s when I met Paris, and being around the socialite atmosphere is a dangerous world.

HAMMER: Yes, imagine that. Nick, of course, referring to Paris Hilton there.
TV and radio host Michael Billy, who has fought his own battles with addiction, is right here with me in New York.
It`s good to see you, Michael.
And you know, we`ve always heard stories of children or kids who become stars and then are exposed to everything and because of that get all involved with drugs and partying.
But Nick is saying -- and this is what`s really different about him -- he started doing drugs before the Backstreet Boys even existed. So I have to imagine with that predisposition, it was sort of inevitable with everything that comes with the fame, all the money and everything, that it was going to go down this road.
BILLY: Well, I think it speaks to addiction. And generally with addiction, there`s a lot of factors.
I think people run into a problem when you oversimplify what addiction or alcoholism really is. There`s so many factors. They the relationships you have with your family, your friends, your growing up experience.
And the -- I can remember -- I`ve been in entertainment for a long time.
Remember my first drink was maybe 13 years old, and I threw up on my living room floor. And I remember that that early. And it was a problem from back then.
Now, back in the day I used to blame entertainment, but the problem existed for a very, very long time.
HAMMER: Yes, yes. And you add in everything else that comes along with it.
BILLY: Absolutely. The money and everybody says yes.
HAMMER: And "Here you go. Would you like some of this?"
Let`s get to Lauren Lake. She`s back with us from Hollywood tonight, and she is the judge on the great new syndicated show, "Paternity Court."
So Lauren, we have Nick here telling all not only to Dr. Phil but also in his new memoir, the name of it is "Facing the Music and Living to Tell About It." It seems to me like he is lucky that he did live to tell about it.
LAKE: He most certainly is. And what I think is so important to note is that this is family cycle. This is something -- I see this every day in my courtroom, A.J.
You see people walk in and you think that their parents would have given them one set of values, something they can understand, a foundation. And yet, they`re missing that foundation.
And as I listen to his story, he tells something I read in an article about drinking when he was, like, two or three years old; taking a drink and everybody laughed.
HAMMER: Yes. As a toddler.
LAKE: What in the world?
HAMMER: And it`s amazing...
LAKE: It started so early, and there was no foundation in his family to even set him up to succeed.
HAMMER: Well...
LAKE: And he`s hopefully breaking that cycle right now.
HAMMER: And what`s gone on...
BILLY: And hopefully people are learning from this.
HAMMER: And what`s gone on with his family is also pretty incredible. He did speak very openly with Dr. Phil about the death of his sister, Leslie. She died of a prescription drug overdose last year. Look at this.

DR. PHIL MCGRAW, TALK SHOW HOST: Did you blame yourself in any way for your sister`s death?
CARTER: There is definitely a part of me that did blame myself. I think that`s -- because of the responsibility that I sort of took on as the oldest member in my family, probably should not have been taken on.

HAMMER: And Nick says that his family still blames him in part for Leslie`s death. He admits the relationship with them is not great, but that says to me the guy has still got a lot of pressure in his life, and perhaps we should be worried about him getting back into that stuff.
BILLY: Bottom line: When you have an addiction problem, therapy and speaking about your issues is an ongoing thing. Because it`s inherent that you don`t know how to necessarily deal healthy with these issues.
HAMMER: And that`s why there`s a program. There you go. All right, Michael Billy. Lauren Lake, great to have you both here. Thank you.

HAMMER: All right. Let`s get right to it. Our first "SHOWBIZ Hot Flash" tonight is Kanye`s heartfelt confession about Kim Kardashian.
Now, Kanye got very candid in a new interview with BBC Radio. He was asked about Kim and their baby girl, North. And here`s what he said. "Family time, it`s what Kim gave me. She gave me everything. She gave me a family. She gave me a support system. She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money..."
RALPH: Wow.
HAMMER: "... which is really hard for me to find."
Sheryl, I think Kanye West met his match.
RALPH: Yes. I was a little bit disturbed when he said "She could love me without asking me for money."
HAMMER: Well, he was saying that he`s not used to that.
MOWRY: I was fine up till there.
RALPH: Yes, it all sounded great. It was like, "Oh, Kanye."
MOWRY: That`s so beautiful.
RALPH: Maybe that`s a good thing that`s happening for him. But you know, he also lost his mother.
HAMMER: Right.
RALPH: And he lost her in a tragic way. So now to have this woman who has come into his life, and he feels so bonded with her and having a daughter, maybe that just balanced all of his hormones when it comes to missing that mom image. Now he`s got to get down to really loving her.
HAMMER: Yes. Well, it`s neat for me to hear him gushing about her like that. Isn`t it? I think fatherhood has softened him.
MOWRY: No, no. I do agree with you, but if he wouldn`t have said what he just said at the end of that comment I would have, you know, definitely...
HAMMER: But again, can I reel it back in for a second? Because he was saying, "That`s hard for me to find." Because I guess he`s used to usually the women he would meet wanting something from him.
MOWRY: But why put it in that context? That`s my -- that`s my whole thing. Why put it in that context?
RALPH: Maybe that`s what he -- like A.J. is trying to say...
HAMMER: He`s used to that.
RALPH: He`s used to that.
MOWRY: I see what you`re saying.
HAMMER: Certainly what he`s saying.
RALPH: Yes. I`m not calling her a gold digger but...
MOWRY: I mean, he is a rapper. You know what I mean? And it`s nice to see a man like Kanye...
RALPH: Settle down and...
HAMMER: With a healthy ego.
MOWRY: With a healthy ego.
HAMMER: Or unhealthy.
MOWRY: Perfectly said.
HAMMER: Let`s get to our next "Hot Flash." I think you`re going to like this. It is "Instant Mom." We`re about to see you play mom to Tia`s character in this new "Nick at Nite" show, "Instant Mom." And we must watch this one.

HAMMER: I cannot wait until this debuts. That is -- step moms have a tough enough time. It`s a pretty tough world to walk into sometimes. So what`s kind of the biggest piece of advice you would have for a step mom, based on what you`re learning, doing this?
RALPH: Oh, my goodness, I can tell you as a step mom, keep your mouth shut. Do not give anybody any advice unless they ask for it. Because anything you tell them will be used against you.
HAMMER: Tia.
MOWRY: I -- what I love especially about Stephanie Philips, even though these kids are her step-children, she treats them as if they really are her kids.
RALPH: Yes.
MOWRY: And I think that`s -- that`s what`s so special. You know, even though they are step kids, and said you don`t even like that word.
RALPH: I don`t like it.
MOWRY: What`s the word that you use?
RALPH: I like "bonus children."
MOWRY: Bonus children.
HAMMER: Bonus children.
MOWRY: Isn`t that beautiful?
HAMMER: Well, we can`t wait to see it all play out on the show, "Instant Mom."

Let me explain how the show is going to work. Committed couples are going to pop into the soundproof box on a British TV studio, they do the deed and then they come out and they talk to a panel of experts about how they are feeling. Producers say they are trying to reclaim sex from pornography.

HAMMER: So, I don`t know if that is actually going to work. But I must ask you if you`re loving the idea, Sheryl, of this TV loving. What does mama say?
SHERYL LEE RALPH: Mama says, now look .

RALPH: I know that if you are lucky, if you are one of those who has a great partner, I want you to have some sex. I want you to have some good sex. But mama doesn`t want to see it! Don`t put in a box, then open it for me to look at. Keep some things, what? Private. That`s what mama says.
HAMMER: All right, so, listen, mama. May I call you mama .
RALPH: Go ahead, my son.
HAMMER: for the sake of this segment.
RALPH: Yes, mama.
HAMMER: It doesn`t feel right at all.

RALPH: I still don`t want it. I still don`t like it. Keep some things private.
HAMMER: All right, well, while we are talking about pushing the limits, let`s move on to a former co-star of yours, the lovely Miley Cyrus. You worked side by side with her on "Hannah Montana."
RALPH: yes.
HAMMER: And now, of course, after a few headline making performances, she`s got everybody talking about the new grown up Miley including Cher. Now, Cher is out promoting new albums called "Closer to the Truth." "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just went one on one with Cher. We had to ask her about Miley`s racy BMA performance, of course, and here is what Cher had to say.

CHER: I don`t like it because I didn`t think it was very good. You know, if she had come out - and I said this, you know, a million times. If she had come out naked and done that, and pulled it off I would have said, you know, you stretched it, you pulled it off, it was great. You know, I`m not so sure that I -- you know, that I`m loving it. But as an art piece, as an art form -- but I didn`t love it as an art form. That`s my problem. I didn`t love it as a piece of art. I thought it was sloppy and I didn`t think it was professional enough for her. I think it`s got to go back to the drawing board. And yet everyone is talking about it. But I certainly don`t think she deserved all the, you know, all the flak that she got for it.
HAMMER: OK. Let me break down for you what Cher was trying to make out over those last 44 seconds you heard. She is basically saying, I don`t have such a problem with the twerking, but I just thought the performance sucked. Do you get what Cher is coming from?
RALPH: OK, now this is what mama thinks. You see, I may be little mama, but Cher is big mama. Now big mama, you know what you did back in your day and you have had a lot less than pasties on. Ha. There were some times when all you had was your laced front wig and you were fabulous. Let these young divas make their own mistakes. We have all had ours. It is now lipstick and lashes under the bridge. Mother, let`s move on.

HAMMER: That`s fantastic.
Have you seen the new "Rolling Stone" magazine, by the way?
RALPH: No.
HAMMER: Oh, Charles, let`s show mama. Look at that. There is Miley right there on the cover posing nude, of course. That`s what we would have expected.
RALPH: It`s the thing.
HAMMER: She seems to be doing everything she can for attention these days. So, what would mama say to Miley?
RALPH: Mama would say to Miley, slow your role just a little bit, baby. Fame is not necessarily a good, good friend. She is beautiful. She`s fabulous and she knows you want it. But she will stab you in your back. Be careful, young diva in training. You`ve got everything to win and everything to lose.
HAMMER: You ever run into trouble with that?
RALPH: Oh, baby, maybe one or two little naked pictures, but anyway.
(LAUGHTER)
HAMMER: OK. You having a good time?
RALPH: And I`m having a great time.
HAMMER: All right.
(LAUGHTER)
HAMMER: All right, let`s keep this train rolling. Because we have to hear what mama has to say about our own president who`s in the hot seat tonight.
RALPH: Oh, mine.
HAMMER: Listen to this. President Obama was just caught on a live open mic at the U.N. assembly, it`s happening right here in the New York City and he accidentally revealed one of his big fears. Watch this with me.

RALPH: I love it. Mama says that she can hear her sister Michelle saying, Obama, if I tell you one more time about that smoking, the girls and I, we love you, cut it out! Obama, Obama, I`m not going to tell you one more time, put the cigarette out. Oh, yes, I can see it. I love it. Michelle and Obama, you know that`s a real story right there. Mama says that big mama is handling what - her business presidentially. I love it.
HAMMER: Mama says knock you out.
RALPH: Hey.
HAMMER: I have been wanting to say that all night.

HAMMER: So, from one mama to another, we have got to talk about Kate Gosselin, because she is back in the news. Here`s the latest with her. Of course, the mother of eight is now caught up in a big legal battle with her ex-husband John. She is claiming that he leaked private information about her and she talked about the law suit this morning on the "Today" show. Here`s what she said.

KATE GOSSELIN: When we started out investigating the source of what was happening, I made the decision back then to push this. It`s a lot of Internet bullying and it`s actually -- I`ve lost a lot of employment opportunities over rumor mills circulating false stuff. The most unexpected and disappointing thing is who is at the center of it. It`s - it, you know, it has to be done for the safety and the future of my kids.

HAMMER: For the safety and the future of her kids. So Sheryl, mama, we had talked a lot about this couple over the years .
RALPH: Yeah.
HAMMER: And we always end up coming down to whatever is best for the kids is what they should be doing. She is now saying that she is suing the father of her children because it is for the good of the kids. What does mama say about that? Because I feel a contradiction. I see where she is coming from but it`s kind of hard to swallow.
RALPH: Mama says that this can be very often a contradiction. Because this is serious, because kids are involved. Eight of them. So mama, sometimes you must be bigger than your ex-husband. Think about how your actions are going to have an effect on your children, all eight of them. And you know what, you need to get over what you feel about him because you can handle it. Sometimes a mama`s got to do what a mama`s got to do without her ex. That`s why they call them exs. Axe him out of your life. Move on, mama, move on.
HAMMER: Yeah, and maybe you don`t talk about it on TV any more.
RALPH: And don`t talk about it on TV, your kids get upset. It`s just a mess, and I know.
HAMMER: Sheryl Lee, Mama Ralph, how much fun was that?

I`m sorry it`s to talk about such a sad, sad story. And I imagine, perhaps you went through a lot of what 16-year old Cassidy Lynn Campbell is going through. Born a boy, transitioning - now transitioning in her case and in this video she reveals what life has been like for her since all of the haters came out online. HAMMER: It is so sad. And she cried, Laverne, for eight minutes in that video. I`m sitting here watching your reaction and you look at it like you are getting choked up. I imagine this is something you`re relating to.
LAVERNE COX: Absolutely. When I was made aware of this on Sunday I immediately sent her a message on YouTube and I tweeted her. I just want to say to you, Cassidy, that you are loved. That I love you. That you`re a beautiful young woman and that you are so strong and brave and courageous and you`ve inspired me and so many people around this country. And we need you. We need your light. We need your bravery and we need your courage. So as my dear friend Cocuma (ph) says we don`t need you just to survive, we need you to thrive.
HAMMER: Did she respond to you?
COX: No, she didn`t. And I`m not sure - I know she favorited a tweet that I tweeted, and I have not gotten a response on YouTube yet. I just hope she`s OK.
HAMMER: What? One of the things that I wanted you to take on that I saw on this video was her questioning if she should return to being a boy. Let`s look at this.

CAMPBELL: Sometimes I wonder if it`s even worth it? If I should just going back to being miserable. And just be a boy and hate myself.

HAMMER: I mean, I hear that and I don`t know if you can answer this, it seems to me, that`s not the answer. Everybody has to do what they need to do.
COX: I think the answer is - I think for everybody out there who says that they care about the safety of our children in this country that we need to begin to create space in our society where we do not stigmatize, ridicule and demean transgender people. Cassidy`s story is a microcosm of what happens to so many transgender people all over this country on a daily basis. It`s basically socially sanctioned to make fun of us, to treat our identities as a bare joke, and that`s what she`s experiencing, I know we talk about the Internet bullies, whatever, but this happens in transgendered people`s lives every day. We, if the parents need to begin to have conversations with their kids, teachers and the school administrators need to begin to have to implement policies to protect students from this. And we need to like send messages in every part of life that this is not OK, this is not acceptable.
HAMMER: Well, let`s hope you and I sitting here, having this conversation, sparks some of those conversations. Laverne, so great to have you here and congratulations on the next season of "Orange Is the New Black". Thank you so much.

NISCHELLE TURNER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Justin Timberlake`s new thriller "Runner Runner" is a cautionary tale about the desire for wealth and what we`ll do to keep it once we get it.
TIMBERLAKE: The first thing you hear in this movie is, you know, it could be the stock market, it could be real estate, it could be online - it could be dating, you know, you`re gambling.
TURNER (on camera): Are you a gambler at all or are you risk taker at all?
TIMBERLAKE: Probably more methodical, a little more thought out. I like to rehearse, I like to know where every spot on the stage is going to be. So, I would say I`m a well calculated risk taker.
TURNER: I love that.
TIMBERLAKE: You know what I mean?
TURNER: Yes.

I don`t know - I grew up an only child and I`ve always kind of like - you know, when you grow up that way it`s like you get all the perks, but you also get all the responsibility. Like there is no one else to blame the vase getting broken on.
TURNER (voice over): Even though he was raised in a small town he had big dreams of stardom from an early age.
TIMBERLAKE (singing): Is down at the end of lonely street at heart break hotel.
TURNER: At some point, a lot of kids like him growing up in Memphis wants to mirror Elvis, but not everyone is able to break out of what Justin sees as somewhat of a small town mentality.
TIMBERLAKE: There is a lot of pride, but there is also -- and don`t, you know, don`t take this the wrong way, Memphis, but, you know, there`s also a little bit of a defeatist attitude like you feel like you`re not good enough for the big lights .
TURNER (on camera): Right.
TIMBERLAKE: Per se.
TURNER: That is changing there now, too, because you`ve got - I mean .
TIMBERLAKE: Oh, absolutely well, the world is becoming .
TURNER: Yeah.
TIMBERLAKE: The world is becoming more connected now.
TURNER (voice over): And he connected to the entertainment world through the Mickey Mouse Club. Then `N Sync. And now a standout solo career.
TIMBERLAKE: I think if there is anything that I`ve learned in my experience, it`s to try to, like, stop and enjoy those moments. Because you know, they`re over before you know it. They really are. So I think that`s another thing that -- that I`ve always just tried to do is share all of this with my family and my friends.
TURNER: Like the highly anticipated `N Sync reunion at the MTV video music awards which for Justin was about paying homage to the era that took him from teen idol to music mogul.
TIMBERLAKE: I just thought it was a nice tribute, you know. We are not - we`re not going to go on tour. I mean I`m glad people are excited about it, but funny enough, it was more for us - it was more for us to enjoy that moment, because I felt like I really in my heart share that award with those guys.

HAMMER: I`m glad they enjoyed that moment. But Justin might want to watch his back. Because there is a four-year-old girl who is becoming an Internet sensation with an amazingly heartwarming duet with her dad. "SHOWBIZ Awesomeness is next."
