Jonas Brothers Tour Canceled Over Family Feud; Britney Duets with Miley; Robin Thicke Speaks Out about VMA Performance

A Jonas Brothers shocker. Their tour is cancelled over a big family feud. But what`s really going on?

HAMMER: Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears team up for a headline-making duet. Well, tonight, the man behind Miley is telling all about the song and the star that has everybody buzzing.

But what will be today`s top must-see, must-share story?

Hello. Thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer along with my guest co-host tonight, Natasha Curry, who is the anchor of "WEEKEND EXPRESS" every weekend right here on HLN. We`re kicking off our "Top Ten Countdown" of today`s must-see, must-share stories with the Jonas Brothers shocker.

Natasha, I don`t think anybody saw this coming.

NATASHA CURRY, CO-HOST: I certainly didn`t, A.J. It seems like one of the biggest boy bands ever, who brought us hits like "Burning Up," appears to be burning up.

CURRY: The Jonas Brothers were about to kick off a 19-show tour tomorrow, but then came the shocking news that the brothers, who always seemed to be the picture of harmony, were out of harmony with each other.

Apparently, they had such a huge fight over what`s being called a creative direction of their music that they cancelled the tour right before it was about to start, A.J.

HAMMER: Those creative differences. What really could have gone so wrong so fast?

With me tonight is a guy who certainly knows plenty about how all this stuff works. This is producer Sean Garrett. Now, Sean wrote and produced a good chunk of Miley Cyrus`s new hit album, "Bangers." He`s worked with everybody from Beyonce to Usher to Justin Bieber. And this is his own hit long. It`s called "Anytime."

So great having you here, Sean.

SEAN GARRETT, MUSIC PRODUCER: Nice to be here.

HAMMER: So let`s talk about this Jonas Brothers thing, because it seems so out of left field. Are you buying the creative differences story or does it seem to you there has to be more going on? Cancelling a tour like this just as it`s about to begin is not only a huge deal, but it`s very expensive.

GARRETT: Wow, yes. I mean, you know, who knows? They could definitely be a lot of different things or it could must be the truth. The could just have creative differences. They`re a huge group, great artists. They`ve grown together. They`ve been together for a long time. So a lot of times differences can definitely happen creativity as we all grow, as artists. You know, especially as brothers.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: As brothers they can`t really break up, can they?

GARRETT: No. You know what? That would be off today and on again tomorrow.

HAMMER: The thing that really struck so many people is how quickly it happened and the fact that this tour was about to launch. You would think, oh, let`s get through the tour and then deal with our differences.

They had taken a big three-year hiatus when they were really still on top, having sold some 20 million albums. And they took that time off so they could refocus. They returned. They did their album "Tom Toms." That was a huge success. And just before its release I sat down with Joe Jonas, and I asked him how that time out worked out. Here`s what he told me.

JOE JONAS, MUSICIAN: All the different experiences we`ve had for the last two years of doing our solo projects and movie project and Kevin doing his TV show has really inspired us to create different sounds. And I know the fans are impatient -- patiently waiting.

HAMMER: Yes. The fans waited. Then they bought the album.

All right. Sheryl Lee Ralph is with us from Hollywood tonight. Sheryl has a terrific HIV/AIDS benefit concert that`s going to be held this Saturday night at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.

I`m so sorry I can`t be there, Sheryl. But we are loving you also on your amazing performances on TV right now. We remember you from Broadway in "Dreamgirls" and just from being right here with on SBT.

So here`s the thing, Sheryl. First, they take this break. It works out well for them.

SHERYL LEE RALPH, ACTRESS/SINGER: Yes.

HAMMER: The album that followed the break went to number 1. A second break, though, especially so soon, to me can`t be a really good sign.

RALPH: It`s not a good sign, but listen. I have three brothers. And when they fall out, trust me, the whole show stops. I get it. And I don`t feel too bad for them, because they will work it out.

Who I feel bad for is the crew and everybody who has taken all this time out of their date books, cell phones, iPads, whatever, and blocked that time out. Oh, my God. They`re the ones I feel sorry for.

But look, guys. Get your style together. Get your music together. Call your mother and work it out, because we need this tour.

HAMMER: You got to feel bad for the fans, too. Of course, they`re going to be getting their money back if they bought tickets, and there are certain fans in Minneapolis that have to be psyched that they saw, perhaps, one of the last Jonas Brothers shows.

Right before their show in Minneapolis on Tuesday, they spoke with fans at radio station KDWB. Again, this before they announced that they were cancelling their tour. And they talked about their first break. Watch this.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We decided to take a break because in this crazy world that looks a lot of fun, it`s also really kind of stressful and crazy at times. And for us we were like let`s not implode. Let`s just take some time off and really be able to focus on what it us we want to do. We had so many individual -- individual ideas, whether personal or business-wise to venture out in. And having that time to do it was really refreshing. So, you know, we always have a heart for the band, but it`s always important for us, as well, to be able to take time when it`s needed.

HAMMER: They`re taking that time again pretty darn quickly. And we`re moving onto number 9 in our "Top Ten Countdown."

Sean, this is about what you just helped pull off. Some amazing success with Miley Cyrus`s new album "Bangers" that of course, just dropped. And as we mentioned, Sean helped write and produce much of "Bangers."

Today we learned something amazing about the album. It is number 1 on iTunes in 70 countries around the world. That is astonishing. Congratulations on that, Sean.

GARRETT: Thank you. I want to say a big congratulations to Miley Cyrus.

HAMMER: Yes.

GARRETT: I mean, she definitely -- she had it all in her mind of what she wanted to do. And I was just really, really happy to be a part of it. So my hat is off to you, Miley.

She said it was going to happen. She said she was going to do her thing. And we were just there to, you know, support her. She`s -- she`s definitely a ring leader.

HAMMER: Yes.

GARRETT: She knows what she wants.

HAMMER: But she couldn`t have done it without you. By the way, you`re just so chill, man. You`re just sitting there like, "Yes, it`s number 1. I`m psyched for you, Miley." You have to be exploding inside.

But one of the songs I know you`re responsible for is "SMS." that`s Miley with Britney Spears teamed up. Let`s listen to some of that.

HAMMER: Nice. Well done. And how in the world did you get Miley to team up with Britney?

GARRETT: Oh, man. It was -- it was a great idea by -- with me and my man, Mike Will. We were in the studio and just talking about how big we could make this record. We went through a couple of different people.

When me, Miley and Mike was in the studio, we was just like who should we put on this record. And the first person that we was thinking about we said, "Nah, that could work." And then we said why not Britney, because you know, that`s Miley`s -- that`s her idol.

So, you know, we love Britney. I got an opportunity to work with Britney before doing "Toy Soldier." And, you know, who else better than -- to supersede, you know -- who else better to put on a record? And we knew already a pop princess and looking at, you know, trying to top that.

HAMMER: Yes, I`ve got to say, it`s one of those genius collaborations. And you don`t think those things can necessarily come together so easily. So I was happy for you guys to see that it did.

And we all got to see you working in -- on the studio on Miley`s MTV documentary, "The Movement."

GARRETT: Yes.

HAMMER: Let`s watch how that went down.

CYRUS: I would say I only want one bitch on my record, and that`s Britney, bitch. That`s it.

HAMMER: Sean, what was it like in that studio? Because the cameras only capture so much. Was it intense? Was it festive? Was it just a lot of really grueling, tiring days?

GARRETT: No. I mean, you know what? It was a two-part, three-part, you know, situation. You know, when you`re working with people like Miley and Britney, you know, t`s all broken down in schedules. One day, Britney`s in. The next day, you know, Miley`s in. It starts in part. One day, you know, it started with the idea of doing the record. Then we did the record. We talked to Miley. Miley talked to Britney, you know, getting Britney`s crazy schedule together, trying to all get in at the same time.

And this is the beautiful part: when it all comes together and everyone can hear the record and feel very, very excited about it. And I mean, I`m just -- I`m not trying be too modest. I`m just happy.

HAMMER: Look, it`s a great success even if it didn`t go to number 1, because you`re happy with the way it came out.

But listen, you may have heard a thing or two about all the grief that Miley has gotten lately for her big over-the-top sexual way that she`s been promoting the album. You`ve been spending a lot of time with her. Is it an act or is what you see what you get with her?

GARRETT: I mean, to me, man, it`s always what you see is what you get with Miley. I mean, when I first met her, she was very real, very up front about what she liked and what she wanted to do. She stayed true to it. I`ve been saying that the whole time. She`s very true to herself. And that`s what inspired me to want to work with her.

Because a lot of times, you know, when you get a chance to work with somebody you don`t always vibe well with them. You know what I`m saying?

HAMMER: Yes.

GARRET: And so I`m more -- I`m like her, too. You know, I`m very real and up front about how I feel about a situation. So if I didn`t like it, I probably wouldn`t participate.

But, you know, she turned me on with her charm. She`s bouncing off the walls. She`s very unpredictable, which I like that. I like it. She got a lot of spunk.

HAMMER: Well, that makes for a great creative collaboration. It sounds like a great experience. Sean Garrett, thank you for sharing with us. I appreciate it.

GARRETT: Thank you all so much.

HAMMER: Well, there is one new pop star that`s even topping Miley mania tonight.

HAMMER: It`s a "Royals" controversy. So Lorde is just 16 years old. Her song, "Royals," is at the top of the charts, and it`s at the center of a heated controversy. Are her lyrics really racist? Come on.

Kardashian chaos. New revelations tonight on the Kris and Bruce Jenner split. Their reality TV world is upside down, so what should their next move be?

HAMMER: Welcome back to our "Top Ten Countdown."

CURRY: Yes. We`re at now number 8. Robin Thicke is talking all about twerkgate.

HAMMER: Robert finally setting the record straight on his role in his controversial duet with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards. The performance, of course, set off Miley`s twerkgate. And now in a brand-new interview with Oprah Winfrey, Robin is revealing his side of the story.

ROBIN THICKE, SINGER: I was on stage and I didn`t see it. You know, so to me I`m walking out towards Miley. I`m not thinking sex. I`m thinking fun.

OPRAH WINFREY, MEDIA MOGUL: Yes.

THICKE: You know?

WINFREY: Yes.

THICKE: And I mean, her and I don`t have that kind of...

WINFREY: But she`s twerking up against your...

THICKE: Just remember, I was singing. I`m singing my butt off. So I`m sitting there, I`m looking up at the sky and singing. I`m not really paying attention to all that. That`s on her. I`m like, if you ask me, "Do you twerk?" I go, "Listen, I`m the twerkee. I`m twerked upon. I don`t twerk myself." OK?

HAMMER: Yes. He`s twerked upon. Robin may be igniting a whole new firestorm with that explanation, I have a feeling. I cannot wait to hear the full Robin Thicke interview. It`s going to be on Oprah`s next chapter Sunday night on OWN.

CURRY: I think he was just blocking it out.

Oh, Lorde. Someone that knocked Miley out of the top spot on iTunes in number 7 on our countdown. Lorde, of course, is a 16-year-old singer from New Zealand who`s breaking all kinds of records, including making history as the youngest artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 26 years for her hit song "Royals."

But now there`s a big old controversy over some of the lyrics in the song. Could some of the lyrics be racist? Listen for yourself.

LORDE, SINGER (singing): But every song`s like gold teeth, Grey Goose, trippin` in the bathroom, blood stains, ball gowns, trashin` the hotel room. We don`t care, we`re driving Cadillacs in our dreams. But everybody`s like Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece. Jet planes, islands, tigers on a gold leash. We don`t care, we aren`t caught up in your love affair. And we`ll never be royals.

CURRY: She`s singing about rappers who sing about their wealth.

A blogger is calling Lorde`s song, though, deeply racist, writing this on FeministThing.com: "We all know who she`s thinking when we`re talking gold teeth, Cristal and Mayback. So why beep on black folks? Why beep on rappers? Why aren`t we critiquing wealth by taking hits at golf or polo or Central Park East?"

Singer and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph is back with us from Hollywood. Sheryl`s foundation, HIV/AIDS benefit concert is taking place this Saturday in Los Angeles. Excited about that. Sheryl is also co-starring in Nickelodeon`s hit TV, "Instant Mom."

So Sheryl, do you think Lorde`s lyrics are racist?

RALPH (singing): Baby, I don`t think that people really get what the kid is trying to say.

(speaking) I think if you really listen to what she`s talking about, she`s talking from a -- in a different kind of way. She`s not saying it the way that we might say it here in America. She is adding herself in the whole dream of what the singers are aspiring to. She`s including herself in it. She`s not talking about them. She`s saying, "Look, come on, this is what we`re doing, and we don`t care." So she`s not separating herself...

CURRY: Yes.

RALPH: ... from the rappers and black folks. She`s including herself as one of the performers and a person of color, which she is not. But you know.

CURRY: I felt that way, too. Yes.

RALPH: Yes.

CURRY: And here`s what Lorde told "Interview" magazine. "Around the middle of last year I started listening to a lot of rap like Nicki Minaj and Drake. And they all sing about such opulence, stuff that I just didn`t relate to. Me or anyone that I knew. I began thinking, `How are we listening to this. It`s completely irrelevant.` I basically just wrote what we were all thinking."

So to me, it doesn`t seem like Lorde was talking about rappers and their race either. I mean, her message is that she can`t relate to their lyrics about fancy champagne, I`m sure that tastes great, and expensive cars, Sheryl.

RALPH: Exactly. And at some point now, the folks who want to put out of that sort of music have got to stop and think, because the whole world is now saying, "But wait a minute, I don`t get it."

CURRY: Yes.

RALPH: "What are you really talking about?"

CURRY: Yes, definitely.

RALPH: She`s saying, as a young person, "I don`t get it."

CURRY: I`m with you, Sheryl. Sheryl Lee Ralph, thank you so much.

A.J., how did it strike you?

HAMMER: I think it`s a huge stretch to suggest that this is racist, you know.

CURRY: Right.

HAMMER: It`s not like she was going after these particular hip-hop stars. You know, if Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones and the Black Keys also sang about these things, she`d be talking about them. It`s her -- it`s her context. It`s her frame of reference. And it`s...

CURRY: Maybe the blogger needed something to write about today. I don`t know.

HAMMER: And you know why it got a lot of traction? Because a lot of Lorde fans were defending Lorde.

All right. As we move on tonight, I couldn`t turn away from this. The Kanye-Kimmel showdown. Kanye went one-on-one with Jimmy to address their massive feud.

KANYE WEST, HIP-HOP STAR: You know, that -- that elevates sometimes. You take a guy. You know -- you know, Jimmy, he does his thing and everything. I do my thing. And at a certain point, you know, these egos can flare up and everything. And then, you know, we kind of just took it back to high school for a little bit. And that`s -- you know that`s what happened.

JIMMY KIMMEL, LATE NIGHT TV HOST: Yes.

HAMMER: Sounds like he`s ready to mend fences. Doesn`t it?

But did Jimmy really call Kanye a jerk right to his face? This has got to be the most entertaining star showdown I`ve seen in a long time.

The life of Siri. She, of course, is the voice of the iPhone. Now, she`s talking to SBT about life after her identity was revealed.

HAMMER: That, of course, is Tom Hanks in his headline-making new film, "Captain Phillips." It hits theaters tomorrow.

Our "Top Ten Countdown" continues now at number 6. Calling Captain Hanks.

CURRY: Yes, Tom Hanks produced and stars in the new film, "Captain Phillips," which is based on the real story of Somali pirates taking over an American cargo ship and holding the captain hostage.

Now the film itself and Hanks` performance are getting rave reviews, but the real-life crew says that the movie falsely portrays Captain Phillips as a hero. They say that the real captain put the crew at risk by bringing them into pirate-infested waters.

CNN`s Christiane Amanpour sat down with Hanks and got his take on the real man behind the made-for-Hollywood story.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR, CNN CORRESPONDENT: You talked, obviously, a lot to the real Captain Phillips.

HANKS: Yes.

AMANPOUR: What sort of struck you about what he had done? I mean, he saved his ship. He saved his crew. He allowed himself to be hostage.

HANKS: You know, the name of his book is "A Captain`s Duty." And I think the word "duty" there is what mattered (ph). There is one guy who is responsible for that entire ship, and that`s him, whether for good or for bad. He was the captain, and he`s the guy who has to solve every problem that comes that way.

And in this case, there was -- the primary motive was to get these guys off the ship. But he would never -- he would never use the word "hero" in regard to the job. He said, "I was waiting for the heroes to show up."

CURRY: And A.J., I was watching the trailer. It looks fantastic. I can`t wait to see it.

HAMMER: I can`t wait either. Regardless of what the truth is behind the entire story and what actually comes out on the screen, everybody is saying this is Hanks at his absolute best. So I think people are going to be flocking to the theaters...

CURRY: Yes.

HAMMER: ... to check out "Captain Phillips."

All right. They are stars of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." But before they were housewives, Kyle and Kim Richards were child stars. How did they manage to survive the risky road to fame?

CURRY: A.J., we`re now at number 5. The Kardashian chaos. Brand new revelations about Bruce and Kris Jenner`s split and the message is there`s no talk of divorce, AJ.

HAMMER: That`s right, Bruce is telling "People" magazine, I`m doing great. Kris is happy. I`m happy. Nobody is filing for divorce. Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There`s no animosity. Everything is good. When asked about dating after the split, here is what he said. "No, we`re not going there. I have my family. I have my kids. All my time is filled." Two of TV`s biggest reality show stars are joining us tonight from Hollywood. Kim and Kyle Richards are here from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The new show season will kick off on November 4th on Bravo. Great to have you here.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Thank you.

HAMMER: Let`s get into this, because Bruce is saying he`s not looking to be a ladies man. There`s no talk of divorce, but let`s face it, they haven`t been living together for a while, and they don`t plan to live together. Kim, let me start with you. Do you really think they can go on like that forever and that`s what they`re going to do?

KIM RICHARDS, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK: I think maybe just right now, they`re taking their time and starting to live their lives and taking some time to soul search.

(CROSSTALK)

HAMMER: Everybody is entitled to do whatever they want to do to figure things out, but Kyle, you know, again, they`ve been living together, some reports say, for like a year. Living apart. Do you see them getting back together and not actually getting divorced?

KYLE RICHARDS, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK: As someone who knows them, I`ve always seen them to be a couple that cares about each other. Of course I`ve seen them without the cameras around. But I know they do care about each other and their children. So you never know. Never say never.

HAMMER: One thing we know about the both of them is family is really important to them, and obviously it`s a stressful time when you make an announcement like this. And we`re seeing it take its toll on the family. Bruce got very defensive, even got angry when paparazzo stuck his camera in his face and was firing off a bunch of questions at Bruce. But, Kim, can Bruce really have it both ways when his entire family put their life on camera for everyone to see? That`s something you know well about.

KIM RICHARDS: I think it`s hard when the cameras are in your face, especially when it`s such a personal situation. Your family is on the line. Your marriage is on the line. I think it really is a time when like you said, he just want to live at his home and spend time with his family right now. I think it`s hard when the cameras come at you all the time and people are staring at you. And even though you have a wonderful fan base and a lot of people that love you, it`s really time to just step back and take some real closure time.

(CROSSTALK)

KYLE RICHARDS: -- problem with reality television is you can`t pick and choose when you want to be private and when you want to be public, is what we have learned.

HAMMER: And that`s what people are saying. Can you really have it both ways? Do you think you can have it both ways? I understand you want to be able to have your privacy, but a lot of people say, well, you know, this is how you`re putting yourselves out there to us, so when we`re there, we`re going to be there.

KYLE RICHARDS: Maybe this is part of it. Maybe this is why he`s stepped away. I don`t know. It seems to me from what I am seeing, like you all are seeing it, maybe he wants to step away from that and needs that little break.

HAMMER: I`ve always gotten the impression about him that that whole life that the Kardashians have lived is not really the life he wants to live.

Before they were housewives, Kim and Kyle Richards began their big careers as child stars. They are number 4 on our countdown before they were housewives. Kim was affectionately referred to as the Disney girl at the young age of 11. She starred in "Little House on the Prairie," "The Love Boat" and "The Dukes of Hazzard." Some of my favorite shows and one of my favorite movies. The Disney movie "Escape to Witch Mountain" where she played Tia, the 9-year-old orphan with psychic powers. I would like to revisit some of that movie right now.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tony, why did you do that? You don`t think you`re going to get away with it, do you?

HAMMER: Kim, you were so awesome in this thing. I so totally remember seeing this when it first came out. Did you have any sense at that time how famous you were becoming as a result of that role?

KIM RICHARDS: No. I didn`t. My mom always kept us very guarded and kept us very humble. I still like to think we still are. But you know, my mom, I don`t think I did. I don`t think we ever really realized how huge the film would be. And -- yes. It was a great film to make. It was absolutely fun. We worked in great locations and with wonderful people that we got to work with. Animals. A lot of fun, animals. It was an amazing film to make. Still one of my favorite movies.

HAMMER: It has to be a great memory for you. I love the fact you didn`t get caught up in everything going on around you. You were having fun making a cool movie and being shielded from all of the nonsense. But, Kyle, let`s watch you now, because you did this 1980 movie, "The Watcher in the Woods," and you got to work with the legendary Bette Davis. How cool is that? Let`s take a look.

HAMMER: Look at you with Bette Davis. How amazing is that? Did you guys at least realize this was something special going on in your lives that girls your age were not making movies as you guys were? Did you think everybody must do this?

KYLE RICHARDS: For us, we really started so young, we didn`t know the difference. And my mom, like Kim said, really did keep us down to earth. It was never made to be a big deal. To us it was like kids went to school. This is what we did. I craved wanting us to be the normal kids who went to camp and school. I thought they were the cool kids.

KIM RICHARDS: I just wanted to say that. I think they wanted to be like us, and we wanted to be like them. We wanted to be at school and they wanted to be in the movies. You always want what you can`t have. The grass is always greener on the other side. That kind of thing. And I think today I can look at it like we`re all very fortunate.

HAMMER: And you guys are fortunate to have come out all of this on the other side. Because as we`ve seen throughout so many decades, child stars don`t always do so well, whether we are talking about Lindsay Lohan or the trouble that Britney had or even Macaulay Caulking. Tatum O`Neal right there, all these stars who have had issues. Why did you guys not get affected the way they did? And have these temptations when you were child stars?

KIM RICHARDS: I`ve had my share of issues, AJ, I`ve had my problems.

HAMMER: But when you were that young. You talked publicly and been candid about some of the battles you have had lately, but it seems back then they weren`t issues.

KIM RICHARDS: I think because my mom kept us all very close. And we were a very close knit family. We did everything as a unit. We relied on each other.

KYLE RICHARDS: That was my mom`s strength, and my mom was very, very strict with us. And I also think a lot of that is a personality thing. There`s so much focus on these young stars that have issues. But I also think it is a personality thing. Kim said she`s had her issues. We`re like -- Kim is the type of person there will be a squirrel and she wants to go pick it up and I`m running for the hills because I think I`m going to get rabies. I think it`s a personality thing, too, but my mom was always so strict and had her eyes on us 24/7 when we were younger.

KIM RICHARDs: And not giving us too much too young. My mom was very strict in not allowing us to have too much.

HAMMER: And again, to your point, if there are issues there to begin with, obviously all the attention could put a magnifying glass on it.

Kyle and Kim, I appreciate you being with us and sharing these stories. I want to bring in Natasha Curry. I think they make a great point, and this is where we`ve seen some of these child stars go wrong, is when the family is not right there for them. They talk about how great their mom was.

CURRY: Even on their show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, they seem like they are all tightly knit and they all talk to each other so much. They obviously have that support going. I think it`s great. I can`t wait for the show in November.

HAMMER: Family first. Now I have to move on to the massive showdown tonight between Kanye West and Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel facing off with Kanye after their celebrity battle over a comedy sketch.

KANYE WEST, RAPPER: That elevates sometimes. You take a guy. You know, Jimmy, he does his thing and everything, I do my thing. And at a certain point, these egos can flare up and everything, and you know, we kind of just took it back to high school for a bit. And that is what happened.

HAMMER: Welcome back to our top ten countdown tonight, and we`re now at number 3. A sad night for "Glee." Natasha, tonight was a big and really sad night for the show. The episode saying goodbye to Cory Monteith just aired, a special tribute to him, and now Lea Michelle is speaking out for the first time since her boyfriend and her co-star`s tragic death from a drug overdose. Lea is revealing it feels like she lost two people, both Cory and his character Finn. And that devastating double loss was seen in that special "Glee" tribute tonight. Let`s take a look at it.

CURRY: Definitely a sad night. "Glee" will take a break and return in a few weeks.

Let`s get back to this top 10 countdown. We`re now at number 2. It`s the life of Siri. Now that she has revealed her true identity, the woman behind the Apple iPhone voice is now a bona fide rock star. People just cannot get enough of that famous voice. Siri, aka Susan Bennett, is with us now from Hollywood. Susan, so much has happened since a CNN reporter revealed just last week you`re the voice of Siri. How crazy has it been for you?

SUSAN BENNETT, SIRI VOICE: It`s been crazy to the max. I can`t begin to tell you. It`s been the complete opposite of my life up to that point.

CURRY: It was an amazing moment. Let`s take a look back at some of what happened here just in the past week here. New job offers for you. More than 400 interview requests. You appeared on David Letterman, and then just this morning, you were on the Queen Latifah show.

QUEEN LATIFAH, TALK SHOW HOST: I have a question for Siri. Where is Brad Pitt?

BENNETT: In your dreams, Queen.

CURRY: That was adorable. OK, so Susan, you can dream, and this whole thing must really seem kind of like a dream to you. What`s the craziest thing that`s happened?

BENNETT: It`s hard to pinpoint one of the crazy things, because they`ve all been crazy. It`s just been a whirlwind. I`ve hardly had any time to sit down and compose myself. It`s just been absolutely insane.

CURRY: Riding the wild wave here. I`ve got to let everyone in on your wild trip to New York. You flew there and you revealed yourself to CNN. Here on the way home, I can`t believe it, you seriously lost your iPhone, are you kidding?

BENNETT: It was like the greatest irony of ironies. I am on my way to New York, and I`ve never lost a phone in my life. I proceeded to lose my iPhone on the way to New York. That was not good. Not fun.

CURRY: There`s an app for that, as you probably know.

CURRY: Is everybody asking you questions for you to ask them in Siri`s voice? I imagine all kinds of crazy stuff.

BENNETT: Some of that is happening now that people know I`m the voice of Siri. But previously, people never really recognized it. It`s not -- it`s a contextual thing. You wouldn`t just recognize it in someone just walking around and doing their day-to-day things.

HAMMER: Yes, exceptionally cool. And I love the fact she was living this life with this great career but rather anonymously. And we hear her voice all the time, we hear it in airport terminals. She`s the voice of Delta around the country in the airport, and now she`s become this bona fide rock star. I actually am going to start referring to Siri on my phone as Susan.

CURRY: I love it, that`s cute.

HAMMER: I am going to say, Susan, what is the temperature outside? Susan, would you please remind me that I better get in to do the show before it`s too late.

CURRY: Yeah, and here is what is number one. The Kanye-Kimmel showdown. After their massive Twitter feud. Kanye West finally accepted Jimmy Kimmel`s offer to come on his show. Now, their beef was over the whole sketch that Jimmy did that made Kanye`s sometimes inflated ego.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I reached the point in my life where my show boat has hit be painting. I`m not trying to regurgitate myself. I`m a private person. Not just closing, but water bottles designing. Architecture, everything you can think about.

HAMMER: This, of course, our lines that came from an actual interview that Kanye did. And I can tell you things got seriously real before the two of them finally made nice. Your always amazing Sheryl Lee Ralph who starts at (inaudible) is back with us. So, Sheryl, Jimmy didn`t pull any punches in his interview last night. I was really happy to see that. It actually got pretty uncomfortable at certain points throughout the interview. Watch now as Jimmy tells Kanye, a lot of people think that he`s got a huge ego and he can`t take a joke.

JIMMY KIMMEL: A lot of times I think you bring it on yourself this kind of misunderstanding about you. I personally found it kind of odd to be in the position that I was in because as you said, I often, I don`t know if a lot of people think you are a jerk, and I often in my own personal conversations say, I know this guy. He`s not a jerk. I`m telling you he`s not a jerk.

HAMMER: So, Jimmy saying he really does like Kanye, but he`s also not letting him off the hook, Sheryl. And I think Kanye really needed to hear that from someone like Jimmy.

SHERYL LEE RALPH: I don`t know if he needed to hear it from anybody because I don`t think he`s going to hear it. He is his own being. I mean if you, baby, did you see the look he gave him when he said some people think you`re a jerk. He looks at him as if to say, I was like come on now. But it was great. It was one fabulous line. And that line was, I would be - I would not be telling the truth if I were to sit here and tell you that I`m not a genius because I would be lying to you and to myself.

He believes his own hype, and he is living it, and the two of them just did that for TV, and it was good TV, because I had to DVR it. So, I could play it again. I was like, "Oh, my god. Is somebody going to get a beatdown right now?"

HAMMER: It was definitely intended to be in good fun, but it was quite serious, as I said. And to your point, Kanye is always going to be Kanye. You know he`s not doing it interview without launching into some kind of a rant about his own talent. Even if he`s on his show to prove that he`s not a jerk for all he`s talking about his own talent. So, let`s watch Kanye call himself a genius. Can we roll that clip?

WEST: I`m not running for office. You know what I`m saying, I`m just here to like make good music, make people feel good when they hear my music, and, you know, when I did that interview I was fairly vocal about a lot of things that I`ve been dealing with over the past ten years. When I was put in the classification of, you know, just a celebrity. Because, you know, for me, you know, I`m a creative genius. And there`s no other way to word it. I know you`re not supposed to say that about yourself and I say things the wrong way a lot of times, but my intention is always positive.

Loves his girl, as he said, and his daughter. So I think we need to see more Kanye interviews. He should open up a little bit to show us that genius side.

HAMMER: I agree, but I would like to see it mellowed a bit. Maybe (inaudible).

HAMMER: Now from a super star known for singing his own praises to one who`s all about bringing attention to regular people that are doing good things. Beyonce bringing her amazing Be Good campaign on tour with her to Latin America.
