(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I love this song. Grammy nominee Mary Lambert is breaking records of her own. We all know her impeccable voice from the song "Sing Love" with Macklemore. Now Mary is right here, talking music, fame and finding a new normal after getting two Grammy nominations.
SBT starts right now.
Hello and thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.
We are kicking off our "Top Ten Countdown" of today`s must-see, must- share stories with No. 10. We`ve got the secrets behind "Beyonce`s Secrets" revealed.
Beyonce really shocked the world over the weekend by pulling off something that seemed impossible: working secretly for a year and a half on an album with no one leaking the news and then just dropping it on iTunes where, of course, it shot straight to No. 1.
The self-titled album includes 13 songs, 17 videos and everybody, of course, from her husband, Jay-Z to Drake and Frank Ocean appear on this thing. Jawn Murray is with us. He is the editor -- editor-in-chief of AlwaysAList.com.
So John, we`re going to reveal some of those secrets in just a moment. But first, we learn that the album broke an iTunes record for most albums sold in a week, and she did it in just three -- three days, Jawn. I mean, this is unbelievable.
JAWN MURRAY, ALWAYSALIST.COM: Absolutely, A.J. I mean, this album had sold more than 60,000 units in, like, two hours. I mean, after two days of being out it was already on track of doing 400,000 units. This album will be almost double platinum by Christmas at the rate that it`s selling. It is a digital phenomenon.
HAMMER: I just can`t figure out how she did it. And that`s why we have SHOWBIZ TONIGHT producer Jenny Di Tomo (ph) with us today, who`s been working on this all day long.
Jenny, I know you were at your computer all day. You didn`t leave it for a moment. You were making phone calls.
JENNY DI TOMO (ph), SHOWBIZ TONIGHT PRODUCER: Yes.
HAMMER: You were checking with the authorities. What have you learned about how she was able to pull this thing off?
DI TOMO: Hey, A.J., thanks.
It`s now been revealed the code name Beyonce used for the album was Lily. Now, according to "The Hollywood Reporter," Beyonce worked until Thanksgiving week narrowing down the songs and only then did she bring it to her record company, her management company, and iTunes into the mix. She also made everybody sign confidentially agreements, from the extras to her dancers, even her directors. It`s pretty amazing, A.J.
HAMMER: I still don`t get it, quite frankly. I`ve worked enough in and around the music business to know that it is hard to keep any kind of a secret. Jawn, there has to be even more to the secret story than what we`re hearing about how she was able to maintain such secrecy.
MURRAY: Right. And it`s no secret that Beyonce has been in the studio recording over the last year and a half. And she`s been frustrated with her record label. One of the songs on the CD actually speaks to her frustration with the record label. This was all her idea. She wanted to do this. She keeps a close-knit camp. And the people around her respect her and trust her. And so the digital release of this isn`t the phenomenon, because artists do it all the time. We usually call that an EP or a mix tape. It`s the response to her digital release that has been groundbreaking for the entertainment business.
HAMMER: Yes, and quite a savings on promotional budget. You know? They didn`t have to spend a dime getting the word that this thing was coming out.
And Beyonce did spill a bit of a secret about the album on her Facebook page. She revealed how Michael Jackson`s "Thriller" album actually influenced her to drop the album as a big surprise. Listen to this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BEYONCE, SINGER: I remember seeing "Thriller" on TV with my family. It was an event. We all sat around the TV, and I`m now looking back. I`m so lucky I was born around that time. I miss that immersive experience.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Jawn, does this cement it or what? She`s clearly the most powerful woman in all of music.
MURRAY: Absolutely. I mean, A.J., this release should have come with a warning. Kids, don`t try this at home. And that`s for all the other artists that may try to duplicate this. Unless you have Beyonce`s audience, her following, her ability to tour for a whole year off a 3-year- old album, you cannot duplicate this. This is a once in a lifetime occurrence.
HAMMER: All right, Jawn. Thank you so much.
I have another artist here who is on her way to having that level of power. I`m sure of it, because she is my new favorite person. I`ve decided that tonight.
No. 9 on our countdown, singer/songwriter Mary Lambert, who of course shot to the top along with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on one of the year`s biggest hits, "Same Love." It just got a Grammy nomination for song of the year. Her new EP out this week. It`s called "Welcome to the Age of my Body."
Mary -- Mary, I just -- I see your smile and I want to hug you.
MARY LAMBERT, SINGER: I know. You can.
HAMMER: It`s so great to be with you here. And by the way, just talking about Beyonce for a second. You`re sitting here saying wow. Wow, look what she pulled off. She`s pretty much the only person that could have done that.
LAMBERT: It`s crazy. I think it`s commendable. Not just, like, the fact that it`s, like, sold like crazy and like to work that hard but also to keep it a secret. I`m an over sharer. I tell everybody everything that I`m not supposed to.
HAMMER: So you would be your worst problem?
LAMBERT: Yes. I`m terrible.
HAMMER: Well, let`s talk about you and the fact that "Same Love" has just become such an enormous song this year. Congratulations on the Grammy nomination.
LAMBERT: Thank you.
HAMMER: I know you`ve gotten a lot of response to the song in terms of accolades and awards. But this has to be a particularly big deal. Through the entire experience, what has been the most gratifying part of the whole thing for you?
LAMBERT: I think it`s like the actual personal human connection, like when you meet people. They`re talking to you. They want to tell you they`re story. Like just the fact that people have been able to say, "I came out to my family once the song came out. It gave me the courage to do that."
Or I got an e-mail from someone that had just been gay bashed, and he`s like this song has given me so much strength right now. And I think to provide an impact with that and to be successful artistically and to be proud of it musically is like you can`t get -- it`s too good.
HAMMER: Yes. I can`t imagine. There are no words for it. Listen, it`s great to make people smile with your music, but to actually have such an impact and to empower people as you have done with this song, I can`t even imagine that.
Well, I like the song so much I can`t get enough. Do you mind if I play a little more?
LAMBERT: Yes.
HAMMER: All right. Let`s roll it, Charles. Come on.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(MUSIC)
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: You have such a beautiful voice. People have been telling you that your whole life. What are you doing to say?
You wrote the chorus and the hook in just two hours?
LAMBERT: Yes. They gave me three hours. I freaked out for an entire hour and then I wrote it.
HAMMER: OK. I didn`t realize there was a time limit on it. How did it come to you?
LAMBERT: We had a mutual friend. Her name`s Hollis Wongwere (ph) and she was -- she sings on the "White Wall" and she -- on the "White Wall" song and she also wrote the chorus to "Wings." She was a good friend of theirs, and you know, she was sort of a sounding board for Ben on the record. And she was sort of like my poet mentor. I do spoken word and was very supportive of my work and suggested me and then called me that day. She`s like, "Do you want to go in tonight?"
I was like, "Sure. Let`s do it." And it was the first time I met them.
HAMMER: Wow.
LAMBERT: And recorded it there.
HAMMER: So a couple of hours...
LAMBERT: Yes.
HAMMER: ... you cranked it out. You`re obviously passionate, passionate about music, but you`re also passionate about talking about body image. I read your terrific blog, specifically about fat shaming.
LAMBERT: Yes.
HAMMER: And I was wondering if you wouldn`t mind reading some of it for us right now, because I think it`s so powerful.
LAMBERT: Yes, sure. I was so -- I`m so flattered.
So I said, "When you shame another`s weight, be it thin or fat, and when you claim to call out someone`s body size because you `care` about their health, it is not a beneficial statement. What right do you have to talk about someone else`s body or health? You`re hammering a distorted ideology that they are not normal, that they are not worthy, and convincing them that they are going to die early."
HAMMER: I hope people are paying attention. I do know that this comes from having a very painful past. What made you decide to blog about it?
LAMBERT: I actually -- I had some status update that I was just sort of -- it was a stream-of-consciousness, just sort of about how I was feeling about self-care. It was like I work out when I want to. I eat salads a lot and I, like, when I have a gin martini, I`m going to have a gin martini. Like it`s self-care.
And -- and having post -- put it up, and then I read a bunch of comments. And that`s -- Don`t do that. Don`t read comments about your own stuff.
HAMMER: Yes.
LAMBERT: Lesson learned. But I cried for about an hour, like reading all of these comments. They were so hurtful. And so it just -- it shook me in way that I was like this is so screwed up. I want to -- there`s something that has to be done. I`m not the only person that has to deal with this.
HAMMER: No, and clearly, you have a voice that can be heard now. And I`m glad you`re putting it out there. And maybe after the show, if it`s OK with Nischelle, we`ll go grab a gin martini. Is that all right? Thank you for being here.
LAMBERT: Yes. Thank you.
HAMMER: Congratulations on "Welcome to the Age of My Body," the new EP out this week.
LAMBERT: Thank you. I`m so excited.
HAMMER: And please don`t go on tour, because I want you to come back and co-host the show with me.
All right. We`ve got to move on with our "Top Ten Countdown." It`s going legendary tonight.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SYLVESTER STALLONE, ACTOR: Yes, I really wanted to clock him and vice versa. He wanted to clock me. That`s what makes it so good.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: A lot of us have waited a very long time to see this. What happens when Rocky and Raging Bull face off on the big screen? We`re talking to Stallone and De Niro about their epic showdown.
Also this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You will have enough gold to rebuild (UNINTELLIGIBLE) ten times over!
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: The new "Hobbit" unmasked. "The Desolation of Smaug" is taking over the box office. And now, one of its stars is taking the spotlight right here on SBT. Can`t wait for this. Richard Armitage didn`t come suited up. But don`t let that fool you. He`s right here and ready to spill the secrets behind "The Desolation of Smaug."
What will be No. 1?
This is SBT on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: If you awaken that beast, it will destroy us all.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You can listen to this naysayer, but I promise you this: if we succeed, all will share in the wealth of the mountain.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: It`s a "Hobbit" habit. And that is No. 8 on our countdown: Peter Jackson`s second "Hobbit" movie, "The Desolation of Smaug," opened at No. 1 over the weekend. Listen to this: It made more than $73 million. That is the fourth best December opening ever. And with me a guy who has his own "Hobbit" habit, and I bet he couldn`t be happier about it.
Richard Armitage stars once again as Thoren Oakenshield, the kind of the dwarves.
It is great to have you here. Congratulations. Wow, what an opening.
RICHARD ARMITAGE, ACTOR: Thanks for having me. It`s always a bit of a shock when you see the feet (ph) to see how little we are on the screen.
HAMMER: And that`s the amazing thing. What, you`re 6`3".
ARMITAGE: I am, yes.
HAMMER: And you play this hairy dwarf.
ARMITAGE: Yes.
HAMMER: And you`ve also played Macbeth, Hamlet. I`ve got to know: Is being a dwarf a lot tougher for a guy like you?
ARMITAGE: In this instance, yes, definitely. I think the weight of the costume was -- was extremely difficult to work with. But I don`t know. He wanted us to look like warriors. So they made us bigger version of ourselves so when the computer makes us smaller, don`t look like children.
HAMMER: It`s great fun to watch, though. It`s been amazing to watch the ride with this film and the last. And in "Desolation of Smaug," you and your band of dwarves continue to Middle Earth. You want to reclaim your kingdom from a dragon. Shall we watch some with the audience?
ARMITAGE: Yes.
HAMMER: Let`s roll it out.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You will have enough gold to rebuild (UNINTELLIGIBLE) ten times over!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All of you, listen to me. You must listen. Have you forgotten what happened to Dale? Have you forgotten those who died in the fire storm? And for what purpose? The blind ambition of a mountain king so driven by greed he could not see beyond his own desire.
You have no right. No right to enter that mountain.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I have the only right.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: OK. I`m watching it sitting here with you and I am blown away by, of course, the digital effects but the prosthetics are pretty incredible, too. This nose that they did for you actually helped save your real nose in a battle scene from your own sword, I read?
ARMITAGE: Yes. It`s actually a nose, a forehead and a whole kind of latex head. But yes, during the first film, I managed to smite myself in the face with a shield. On the second film, it was awkward. I caught myself between the eyes. So it was the silicone that saved me.
HAMMER: So it weren`t for this mask-like thing you had on your face, you`d look much different right now.
ARMITAGE: Thanks. The doctor came over and was like, "We really need to stitch this." Because it was a huge kind of split in the head but he didn`t realize I was wearing a prosthetic, which was -- which was good.
HAMMER: I think your fans are all very happy that everything worked out.
So you are a de facto Hobbit expert. It just -- it comes with the territory of being in these films. So I`ve got to bring you in on something.
ARMITAGE: OK.
HAMMER: You may not have seen this. There was just a "South Park" episode where Kanye West appears on this thing, proclaiming that his wife, Kim Kardashian -- or his wife-to-be, Kim Kardashian, is not a hobbit, as has been speculated. Can we watch this together, and I get your opinion of it?
ARMITAGE: Yes.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There have been malicious rumors started at this elementary school that my beautiful fiancee is a hobbit. That is not funny, and it is not true. All right?
Yes, Kim is heavier than most of her pictures show her to be. Yes, she gets her hair lasered off her body. Yes, she has a friend named Gandalf who happens to be a wizard.
I`m sorry. Excuse me a minute. Bitch, how you not the hobbit again?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I mean, you know, he ran down some pretty good qualifications. Right?
ARMITAGE: Right. You`d have to check out her feet to determine whether she was really a hobbit.
HAMMER: It`s all...
ARMITAGE: It`s all in the feet.
HAMMER: It`s all in the feet.
ARMITAGE: Yes.
HAMMER: All right. Great to have you here, Richard. Thank you very much. And congratulations again on a huge opening weekend. I wish you continued success with the franchise. I`m sure it`s fun to be part of.
ARMITAGE: Thank you so much.
HAMMER: All right. And you can check out "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" in theaters and No. 1 everywhere right now.
That brings us to No. 7 on our countdown. It`s Bruno`s Billboard bonanza.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(MUSIC: BRUNO MARS, "LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN")
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: This is pretty incredible. Bruno Mars was just named Billboard`s Artist of the Year. His album, "Unorthodox Jukebox," debuted at No. 2, eventually hitting No. 1. He sold nearly two million copies, and he spun three top 10 hits.
So what does Bruno think about his latest honor? Well, Bruno is also honored and nominated for four Grammys, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Locked Out of Heaven." And don`t forget: We`re all going to get to see him in action performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in February. I would say he`s very excited about all this.
Bruno definitely knows how to put on a show. So do the stars of "Anchorman 2."
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STEVE CARELL, ACTOR: Let`s take a look at the big map. Where`s the map?
WILL FERRELL, ACTOR: Look at the monitor.
CARELL: Ron, where`s my legs? I don`t have any legs, Ron.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I haven`t seen it yet. I can`t wait, though. The "Top Ten Countdown" is taking you behind the scenes with Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and all the stars of "Anchorman 2." Will and the gang reveal the hilarious secrets behind the comedy sequel. Everybody is buzzing about this.
Also, stars without makeup. I love when they do this. Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz all glammed up all the time. Right? But now they`re sparking some big buzz because they`ve gone au naturale. You`ve got to see the pictures that they`ve just shared.
The big question is: what will be No. 1? This is SBT on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Now our "Top Ten Countdown" continues now with No. 6, "Batman" director Christopher Nolan`s newest film, "Interstellar" has us all whipped into a frenzy. We cannot wait to see this thing. It`s all about humans making a breakthrough in space travel. It`s got an amazing cast. We`re talking about Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, and Matthew McConaughey, who happens to narrate the trailer. So here now is your "SBT First Look."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY, ACTOR: We`ve always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. We count these moments.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The first ever to fly faster than the speed of sound.
MCCONAUGHEY: These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Seventy-six, you are go.
MCCONAUGHEY: To make the unknown known.
NEIL ARMSTRONG, ASTRONAUT: One giant leap for mankind.
MCCONAUGHEY: I count these moments as our proudest achievements.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Having fired the imagination of a generation...
MCCONAUGHEY: But we lost all that.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... pulls into port for the last time.
MCCONAUGHEY: Perhaps we`ve just forgotten that we are still pioneers, and we`ve barely begun and that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: Looks super cool. We just have to wait until next November. That`s when "Interstellar" is set to hit theaters.
All right. We are amped up for a "Grudge Match" that`s been decades in the making now.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STALLONE: Yes, I really wanted to clock him and vice versa. He wanted to clock me. That`s what makes it so good.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Rocky versus Raging Bull. What is really it like when Rocky and Raging Bull meet on screen? Well, SBT is talking with Sly Stallone and Robert De Niro, because we want to get the real story behind their epic showdown.
Talk about epic. "Anchorman 2" secrets revealed as we take you behind the scenes for one of the most anticipated sequels of the year with Will Ferrell himself. This is SBT on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STALLONE: I really wanted to clock him and vice versa. He wanted to clock me. That`s what makes it so good.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Right now the "Top Ten Countdown." Rocky versus Raging Bull. We are one-on-one with Sly Stallone and Robert De Niro, talking about the "Grudge Match" that`s been decades in the making.
Kardashian ex- files. Khloe officially files to end her four-year marriage to Lamar, but is Khloe really the big winner of this heartbreaking battle? The SBT countdown continues right now.
Welcome back. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer. We are down to number five on our countdown of today`s top ten must see, must share stories. And we`ve got Rocky versus Raging Bull. You ever wait 30 years to punch someone. Well, Sly Stallone and Robert De Niro tell us about their long awaited grudge match.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STALLONE: I see (inaudible) going without a bra.
ROBERT DE NIRO: I took a dump on your porch.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: "Grudge Match" is their new movie, which is opening up on Christmas day. These guys play two 60 something ex-boxers preparing to face each other one more time, but let`s face facts here. The real reason that people will see this movie is to see two of the most iconic movie boxers ever finally go a few rounds. Sly Stallone, of course, played Rocky Balboa in six Rocky movies, and Robert De Niro won an Oscar in 1981 for playing Jack La Motta in "Raging Bull." Well, my good friend and "SBT" producer Sid Lipsey just said down with Stallone and De Niro and he had to ask them about their return to the big ring.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SID LIPSEY: 30 years after their second fight Kid McDonnen and Razor Sharp get ready to go at it again.
(on camera): You guys in the ring. Jack La Motta, Rocky Balboa. I mean I know that`s something that people have tried to get on screen for years. What was it about this movie that finally made you guys say, OK, now`s the time?
SYLVESTER STALLONE: I had been so nervous about it, because to get the last Rocky Balboa done, it took years and years. It was like oh, it`s done. I`m not embarrassed anymore. Put it to rest. And then I thought we just had - I`ll goof on this and like a parody, like hot shots. Hot shots two. Finally, I was - don`t be an idiot. This is - enjoy the fruits of your labors here. We did this and why not just let another generation see it. LIPSEY: I actually did the research and compiled your climatic boxing battle records. Now, throughout six "Rocky" movies you`re four and two, with four knockouts.
Can we count "Rocky V", even though that was a street fight?
STALLONE: Of course.
LIPSEY: You did "Raging Bull." And is it OK to give a spoiler for a movie that`s 30 years old?
ROBERT DE NIRO: Sure.
STALLONE: You`re 0-1.
DE NIRO: You`re 0-1.
(LAUGHTER)
LIPSEY: Is it part of you that said OK, in this movie battle, I want to be the winner in this one to kind of keep my win-loss record OK?
STALLONE: Yeah, I really wanted to clock him and vice versa, he really wanted to clock me. That`s what makes it so good. There was a kind of real antagonism. Yeah, you know, - you`re in the ring. You`re sitting there basically in your underwear and you have got 500 people watching you. You don`t be embarrassed. You know, you really dig down.
(LAUGHTER)
LIPSEY: Did it bring back "Raging Bull" memories?
DE NIRO: Yeah, I mean I - it did. I mean though that was so long ago at the same time. And - but Sylvester was great. Because he choreographed everything. He took charge of the whole thing and it made it easier for me.
LIPSEY: You`ve done a lot of physical roles lately. But you`re training for a movie. At this stage in this career, did you expect to have to be so physical and do the training thing like you did in this one?
DE NIRO: Yeah, but it gave - I always train. But I - not boxing, but I work out. But this just gave me an excuse to get back in.
STALLONE: He just hit it. In my career, it`s - you work out so much? Are you vain? I said no, it`s a matter of economics. If I don`t, I starve. You get it? And there`s a motivation to it. Whereas this - it`s thrilling to know that you have to work out but you`re actually doing it for a reason that`s going to be on a film forever, so you`re highly motivated.
LIPSEY: One thing that your character says that`s probably one of my favorite lines in a movie when you`re outside of Sly`s house.
DE NIRO: We`re not dead. We`re not dead. In fact, this whole thing has made me feel more alive than ever.
LIPSEY: You just turned 70.
DE NIRO: Yes, I did.
LIPSEY: There`s a message in this movie, you think, for people who might have regrets like the characters in this movie, who think they might be too old to do something about it?
DE NIRO: Yeah, I mean there is a message. I don`t think of myself - and to hear these are people who are older. I don`t think of myself as being older. I mean and I - if I look at myself, I realize, yeah, you know, but I don`t feel that way. I mean there are things that slow you down a little bit, you know, in the training, but basically, I felt OK. So, I feel good.
STALLONE: I feel good except I keep inner pin on my life alert necklace.
(LAUGHTER)
STALLONE: That bothers me.
(LAUGHTER)
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yeah, but you look at them they`re both in such good shape. "SBT" producer, Sid Lipsey, great having you. Very nice job there.
LIPSEY: Thank you. Thank you.
HAMMER: Rocky and Raging Bull in the ring together. And you get the sense that they were both actually very excited to do this.
LIPSEY: These guys were stoked. They really, really were. And talking to them, I got the sense that look, everyone is looking at this movie as Rocky versus Raging Bull, even though they play completely different characters.
HAMMER: Right.
LIPSEY: But the thing is, they are too. They have been waiting to do this for a long time. So, when they got the chance to step back into the ring, and do the training thing, all that, they really got into it. And one thing, I went into this thinking that hey, we`re going to see a CGI fest, you know, there are going to be stunned guys. No, in the final boxing scene that`s Robert De Niro, that`s Sly Stallone dancing around, fighting, punching, everything.
HAMMER: So, the short flying of their face. That`s ...
LIPSEY: All 1000 percent real. 1000 percent real. They did the training and everything. De Niro, actually, told me he lost 20 pounds training for this movie. He just turned 70.
HAMMER: Well, look at him right there. You can see how great the shape he remains in. So, after De Niro and Stallone were hanging out with you they had a little business to take care of a little show called "SNL." "Saturday Night Live" is where they made their surprise appearance. They joined the guest host on "Saturday Night" John Goodman. They did this Christmas sketch. They played the three other travelers visiting the baby Jesus. The three wise guys.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DE NIRO: I`m telling you this, this kid`s going to be big.
(LAUGHTER)
STALLONE: Yeah, you know what, his father is in construction.
(LAUGHTER)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yeah, a little Joe from Nazareth. The Joe grown up.
STALLONE: Yeah.
DE NIRO: Yeah, but I heard the kid might not be his.
DE NIRO, STALLONE AND UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh!
STALLONE: Where did you hear that?
DE NIRO: I know a couple of angels. I hear things. OK, you know, relax.
(LAUGHTER)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What are you guys bringing this kid?
DE NIRO: I got him some Frankensense (ph).
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Frankensense. What the hell is Frankensense?
DE NIRO: It`s Frankensense. That`s what it is. It`s nice. It`s like a hair gel.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And where did you get it?
DE NIRO: Let`s just say it fell off the back of a donkey.
(LAUGHTER)
DE NIRO: What did you bring?
STALLONE: Meat. I got him a meat ball pong ...
(LAUGHTER)
STALLONE: And a Yankee`s onesies.
(LAUGHTER)
STALLONE: How about you?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I just brought an envelope full of cash.
STALLONE: Oh, that`s good.
DE NIRO: Always good.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That`s always good.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: There you go. When De Niro and Stallone showed up on stage the crowd at SNL went nuts. But great, here`s these guys, you all getting up together.
LIPSEY: He really is, but I don`t know about you, A.J. But it`s so weird for me to see Robert De Niro doing comedy. I mean.
HAMMER: I totally agree.
LIPSEY: Yeah, yeah, I mean I`m of the age, I remember "Taxi Driver," "Goodfellas," "Godfather." But there`s a whole generation out there that knows him from "Analyze This."
HAMMER: Yeah.
LIPSEY: That knows him from "The Fockers" ...
HAMMER: Right.
LIPSEY: Right. And now "Grudge Match" and SNL.
HAMMER: Well, now the sketch on SNL - a sketch - I`d like to actually watch a little bit more, Sid. Let`s roll that out, Charles! Do it.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, what kind of camel you guys got? You got one hump or two?
DE NIRO: Me, I got one. I`m a one hump guy.
(LAUGHTER)
DE NIRO: I like a good solid hump.
(LAUGHTER)
STALLONE: I make my camel wear shoes.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Why the hell would you make a camel wear shoes?
STALLONE: So when I look down, I don`t see any camel toe.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: They`ll be here all week. Sid, great job. I`m sure you had a great time hanging out with these guys.
LIPSEY: Yes, I did. Thank you. Thank you.
HAMMER: I appreciate it.
Well, as we move on, nobody knows if there will be a grudge after this latest star break up. Khloe Kardashian filing for divorce from her troubled NBA star hubbie. The great debate, is she really coming out of this break up a big winner?
Also, anchorman secrets.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Let`s take a look at the big map. Where`s the map?
WILL FERRELL, ACTOR: Look at the monitor. Oh, God. Ron, where`s my legs? I don`t have any legs, Ron.
HAMMER: We`re going to take you to the set of "Anchorman 2". Will Ferrell himself spilling secrets about the sequel that everybody`s buzzing about. What will be number one on our countdown? This is "SBT" on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: All right. We`re cruising right along making our way to number one on our top ten countdown of today`s must see, must share stories. And now number four, stars without makeup. I`m talking no blush, no eye powder or eye liner. Just on naturel. Take a look at Jessica Simpson. She just posted this makeup free tweet pick with the tell all caption Aquaphor from the diaper bag and a filter. Day and night. Now, Aquafor is a cleansing cream that a lot of the moms use for the babies, and the date, of course, that she`s about with her fiance, Eric Johnson. They`re away from their two kids. I`d give them credit from being able to do this. VH1 foreign correspondent Janell Snowden is with me right now. We`ve seen this before, Janell, with Demi Lovato. And with Rihanna, Heidi Klum bearing all, so to speak, are you giving this a thumbs up or a thumbs down? I think she looks terrific.
JANELL SNOWDEN, VH1 CORRESPONDENT: I think she does look terrific. But you have to know your strengths and your weaknesses. There`s some stars who know good and well that they should never be photographed without makeup. I mean I`m not eve famous, and I don`t even leave the house, don`t go to the drug store without make up.
HAMMER: I know that a lot of women I speak to, who say not a chance.
SNOWDEN: No.
HAMMER: It won`t happen.
SNOWDEN: No, absolutely not. So, I applaud the women who do. I mean we cannot be Gisele (ph), right? Do you see that picture of her with - with all the help with a glam squad? I mean it costs a lot of money to have a glam squad. So, I guess if you are a new mom, you don`t have the time for it. But when you look like Jessica Simpson, I think it`s OK.
HAMMER: There are also filters, you know, on the Instagram that can ...
(CROSSTALK)
HAMMER: Jawn Murray is with us from Washington. Jawn is the editor-in- chief of AlwaysAList.com. What do you think, Jawn? Is there any down side to stars like Jessica shown off her makeup - her face like this without makeup?
JAWN MURRAY, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, ALWAYSALIST.COM: No. Because, you know, tabloids have made tons of money over the years, A.J., doing the whole stars without makeup covers. So, I agree with Janell. If you have the ability, if you have the facial features to pull this off, if you`re as fine as Janell then maybe you can leave the house with no makeup. But some of these others stars, you`d better get all speckled up.
HAMMER: Yeah, people love seeing these pictures, by the way. And that`s why we have another one for you. There is more. Cameron Diaz. We have - Charles put it up - this is a selfie that Cameron did holding up her new health and fitness book. So, get an intellectual promotion there. There`s something about seeing stars like Cameron and Jessica without makeup that kind of makes them seem like every girl`s best friend, I would imagine.
SNOWDEN: Yeah, it does definitely up their likeability factor. And I`ve got to say, Cameron looks amazing. And she`s over 40. So, you know, for an over 40 woman to expose herself like that, I can`t even imagine. Like Kudos to her, I won`t do it now at less than 40. And I`m telling you, I won`t even go so far as to the corner of my block.
MURRAY: I don`t know what you are talking about ...
(LAUGHTER)
MURRAY: You`re crazy.
SNOWDEN: But I`m telling - I mean we don`t walk around with Instagram filters. So, you know, we`ve got to do what we can.
HAMMER: All right, thank you. All are terrific, and I think it`s inspiring when they do this, to be sure. There`s no making up for Khloe and Lamar. That brings us to number three on our top ten countdown. Khloe Kardashian and Odom, calling it quits and getting rid of the Odom. She`s leaving Lamar Odom, filing for divorce. Once and for all, it`s official. "SBT" brings you the official divorce filing with Khloe citing those irreconcilable differences. And we`ve heard so much about Lamar`s reported drug use, cheating. But we haven`t heard a negative word from Khloe. And you know, I give her a lot of credit for keeping it classy. I hope it continues in this direction. Looking at this divorce filing I`ve been going through the pages, the (inaudible) is very simple, very clean.
SNOWDEN: Yeah.
HAMMER: After this break.
SNOWDEN: I mean she`s been a class act throughout it all. And she`s proven that she`s definitely a ride or die chick. You`ve got to give it to her. Because, you know, for most people when their husbands first started showing signs of being a drug addict, they probably would have bailed. But not only did she stick with him, she kept the ring on, she tried to get him help. But she`s been going through this for two years. She kept it a secret for a very long time now. So ...
HAMMER: Half her marriage.
SNOWDEN: I know.
HAMMER: They were married for four years. That`s really said. And Lamar, apparently, is reportedly saddened because he felt like he gave it his all to try and save the marriage, Jawn. There`re a lot of fans out there, actually, feeling sorry for Lamar now. Who comes out on top in all this in your mind, not that somebody needs to?
MURRAY: You know, I don`t know that either one of them will come out on top. I think people are happy, though, that they are handling this in such a respectable way. You know, Khloe`s always been considered the unconventional Kardashian. She`s never exploited all aspects of her life for fame.
HAMMER: Right.
MURRAY: She always appears to be the more likeable one. And so, people are ruling for her and Lamar, both as individuals and hopefully, they`ll go on to do great things apart.
HAMMER: Yeah, I think this is going to be a good thing for both of them. There are these new reports float around out there that Khloe reportedly is already on the rebound dating another big sports star. Matthew Kemp. He plays baseball for the L.A. Dodgers. And Matt just posted a photo of the Kardashian/Jenner Christmas Tree on his Instagram, account with the caption "best time of the year." So, obviously, that`s feeding into it, Janell. Who knows? It`s just a rumor right now, but if it`s true, good match?
SNOWDEN: Oh, my god. Matthew is beautiful. Who cares if it`s a good match?
(LAUGHTER)
SNOWDEN: That`s all you`d know, is that he`s gorgeous, he makes a ton of money. And we know those Kardashians like they are athletes.
HAMMER: Yeah. And Khloe has proven that before.
SNOWDEN: Absolutely.
HAMMER: This will go better, if that`s the case. Just because, though, they have been seen together and they are, you know, going after dinner, hanging out, it doesn`t mean they`re dating. I`m trying to tell people over and over.
SNOWDEN: Well, but I think that she had to play it smart because she hadn`t filed the divorce papers yet.
HAMMER: Right.
SNOWDEN: So, maybe now we`ll see them walking hand in hand.
HAMMER: Simply a confirmation.
SNOWDEN: Exactly.
HAMMER: Thank you, Jawn, thank you as always.
Well, an incredible countdown it`s been, the big reveal is still to come. I mean we`ve had reality star breakups. One-on-ones with Grammy nominees. And even an astrowinner? What could be number one? This is "SBT" on HLN.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: We are now down to the final two on our countdown. You want to guess what the most liked Instagram photo was this year. Well, we just learned it`s a photo that Justin Bieber put out there of himself with Will Smith. Instagram says that out of the 55 million photos that were shared every day, this specific photo of the fresh prince and the prince of pop got 1.5 million likes. Bieber alone has 12 million followers so, really, it`s not that hard to believe that one of his was one of most liked photos of the year. And in fact, up one. I`m just surprised that he`s wearing a shirt in this photo.
And it`s time now for the big reveal, what is number one on our top ten countdown. Well, here it is. "Anchorman 2" secret reveals. "The Anchorman" sequel finally opens this week. Finally. Now "SBT" is taking you onset with rare access to the stars of the movie including incomparable and hilarious Will Ferrell who was willing to tell all.

But Ron collects the team and they go back to New York City to begin the launch of GNN.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We`re starting a 24-hour news channel, the first of its kind. GNN.
(LAUGHTER)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That`s without a doubt, the dumbest thing I`ve ever heard.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And everybody is betting against it. No one thinks that this concept is going to work. And I think we`re the news team to prove them wrong.
FERRELL: This just feels right. The news team is back.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They end up kind of mistakenly and through their own resourcefulness and bad journalistic impulses to create a new type of news form that leads the network to great heights.
FERRELL: Let`s take a look at the big map.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where`s the map?
FERRELL: Look at the monitor.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, God. Ron, where`s my legs? I don`t have any legs, Ron.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We find a way to light it up. That`s all I can say.
Tonight`s top story is crack. It`s just refreshing.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, chief? What`s feeding time for that mustache of yours?
(LAUGHTER)
FERRELL: You.
