JOIE CHEN, CNN ANCHOR: Mark, we are listening and watching as Nathaniel Brazill is back on the stand; he had testified some earlier, and the court had taken a break. Let's listen now to what he is saying.

(JOINED IN PROGRESS)

BRAZILL: Just the handle part -- the handle part of it.

UDELL: That you showed her?

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: What did she say, anything?

BRAZILL: That she wanted to see the bullets.

UDELL: And?

BRAZILL: And then I took out the clip out of the gun, while it was sill in my pocket and showed her the bullet.

UDELL: Let me ask you about that. The gun stayed in your pocket?

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: You showed her the handle.

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: And the bottom part that has the clip in it?

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: OK, and you just pulled the clip out?

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: Was that in response -- did she say anything to cause you to do that?

BRAZILL: She said that she wanted to see the bullets.

UDELL: OK. And did you take the clip out.

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: Did you take the clip out?

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: Show it to her?

BRAZILL: Yes.

UDELL: And any discussion?

BRAZILL: A little.

UDELL: What was the discussion about, if you remember?

BRAZILL: She was asked -- she asked me, where did I keep the gun? I answered, and I think that she asked me another question.

UDELL: OK. You don't remember?

BRAZILL: No.

UDELL: OK. And how long was, would you guess, the gun was being shown to her -- visible to her?

BRAZILL: A few seconds.

UDELL: OK.

CHEN: Nathaniel Brazill testifying in his own defense down in West Palm Beach, Florida today. Again, this a continuation of his testimony from earlier. He is the first witness in his own defense. CNN Correspondent Mark Potter is on the scene now in West Palm Beach, listening to all of this. And we'll hear from him, if there are other developments that warrant from down in West Palm.
