DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: We want to take you to Modesto, California, where Dr. Levy, the father of Chandra Levy has some words.
(JOINED IN PROGRESS)
DR. ROBERT LEVY, CHANDRA'S FATHER: ... not particularly. Just learned about that now, so...
QUESTION: So you say that you and your wife have not asked the department to look into anything involving Darrell Condit?
LEVY: We just want them to look at everything they know of. You know, be aware of everything.
QUESTION: But you specifically asked about Darrell Condit?
LEVY: Not specific about anything, just about anything that might help.
QUESTION: Is there anything new that you have learned in the last -- since we spoke last night about the case?
LEVY: No, just what we read in the newspaper. More coming out; you know, we hope it will help us.
QUESTION: What are you learning about the FBI's involvement in the case?
LEVY: Well, they -- I think they've changed some things, but I can't say specifically.
QUESTION: Were you surprised by that? Were you disappointed by that?
LEVY: No. You know, it's just what's going on.
QUESTION: They have been critical of the Washington, D.C. police department. Did that surprise you at all?
LEVY: Well, I hadn't heard that. I hadn't heard that before, so...
QUESTION: Can you tell us about what it's like for you to go to work every day and try to get back to your normal routine?0 LEVY: Yes. I just have to be there for the patients and office people and friends. And, you know, you have to keep functioning. Just don't -- don't really feel very, you know, happy; but you've still got to be there and function.
Thank you. Thank you.
KAGAN: An obviously very tired and worn-down Dr. Levy making comments outside his Modesto home. He, obviously, the father of Chandra Levy, making some comments on some small developments in the case. Also talking about the necessity of getting back to everyday life. Dr. Levy is an oncologist in the Modesto area. And as he said, his patients and his staff and the people he work with need him there. Not an easy job to go on with so many questions still floating on the whereabouts of his daughter.
