NATALIE ALLEN, CNN ANCHOR: The parents of Chandra Levy are speaking.
SUSAN LEVY, CHANDRA'S MOTHER: You got a -- guys got to be sensitive people...
(CROSSTALK)
S. LEVY: ... we're very highly stressed.
ROBERT LEVY, CHANDRA'S FATHER: (OFF-MIKE)
S. LEVY: And we still want to keep our faith. It's very hard at this time. And I want you to be sensitive when you ask questions or if you find news because, as you know, there's been other things that have come up, and the timing has been very poor. And it has destructively -- been very hard on all of us and this family.
R. LEVY: We miss our daughter.
S. LEVY: We miss our daughter terribly; we want her back home alive. We appreciate all the help we can getting, including from Mr. Congressman, who said to me that he would help me, he would do anything to help me, at the Jefferson Hotel. And that's all I can say.
Thank you very much.
QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE) Condit, correct?
R. LEVY: Yes.
S. LEVY: Mr. Congressman; you know who I'm talking about. OK, I just want my daughter. Anyone who can help.
QUESTION: Do you guys have any comments on minister Thomas...
S. LEVY: I have no comments to be made. No comments.
OK, so you guys, there's an X-Fest (ph) here this weekend -- rock 'n' roll thing. You guys can find something to do here in Modesto.
QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE) Saturday or Sunday? ALLEN: All right, the parents of Chandra Levy speaking, as they do often from the end of their driveway, appealing for help in finding their daughter on a day that the police chief from Washington made a statement that said the Chandra Levy case may not ever be solved. We'll continue to follow it, of course.
