THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. COLLEEN MCEDWARDS, CNN ANCHOR: We're taking you live to West Palm Beach, Florida. Continuing testimony now in the sentencing hearing of 14-year-old Nathaniel Brazill who shot 35-year-old Barry Grunow, his teacher, on the last day of classes last year. Mr. Grunow's mother is testifying now. Let's listen in.
(JOINED IN PROGRESS)
PHYLLIS GRUNOW, VICTIM'S MOTHER: I don't think good people deliberately steal a gun, aim at someone between the eyes and kill them. This was not an accident. I feel Nathaniel should be punished to the fullest extent of the law so he cannot do this to anyone else. No family should have to go through this.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Thank you ma'am.
MCEDWARDS: All right, this testimony continuing all morning has been quite emotional as members of the victim's family have taken the stand one by one to express their feelings about sentencing. This being the issue here, 14-year-old Nathaniel Brazill facing a minimum 25-year mandatory prison term.
