ROGER COSSACK, CNN LEGAL ANALYST: We're going to -- we're going to interrupt this show to go to Dr. Robert Levy in Modesto, the father of Chandra Levy, who has stepped outside his home.

QUESTION: Doctor (OFF-MIKE) is there anything new this morning in the investigation of your daughter's disappearance?

DR. ROBERT LEVY, FATHER OF CHANDRA LEVY: We're going to be talking with some investigators and, you know, see what's going on. It's our main goal still.

QUESTION: Which investigators are those?

LEVY: It's different ones, our private investigators and the FBI and...

QUESTION: Dr. Levy, Congressman Condit, in a written statement, said he will speak with his constituents soon. What would you like to hear from him?

LEVY: Well, I just -- I don't know. Soon. When's soon, you know, when is that? Now or, you know, a month from now or who knows -- who knows?

QUESTION: Mike Lynch, his chief of staff, said last night in a televised interview that his boss, Mr. Condit, will seek re-election. What are your thoughts about that?

LEVY: Well, it's up to him. You know we just want to know the truth about Chandra. That's what we're out to find, and you know, just really interested in that right now. So I can't really -- can't really comment anymore on that. It's whatever he wants to do he does, I guess.

QUESTION: The "New York Post" is reporting that you have signaled to the Republicans that you'll appear in ads this season.

LEVY: I don't know anything about that. Don't know anything about that, no.

QUESTION: So have you not signaled to the Republicans (OFF-MIKE)

LEVY: Well, we don't want to be involved with politics. It was really not about that. You know it's really trying to find our daughter and get to the truth of it and, you know, it's not really politics. Though there have been a lot of, you know, courageous politicians and lawmakers coming out making statements, so, you know, that's -- we appreciate that.

QUESTION: Doctor, I've asked you this question before in the past, let me ask you this question today: If Mr. Condit were to be watching you right now, what would you want to say to him?

LEVY: Well, just the same thing we've said before just -- but, you know, we don't know if he can tell us anything, if he would, if he's able to.

QUESTION: Are you frustrated that he has not spoken to your family or to his constituents? He's been back in this area since a week ago Friday, is that frustrating for you and your wife?

LEVY: Yes, sure it is, but you know, that's the way he is.

So thank you.

COSSACK: We've been listening to Dr. Robert Levy, of course, the father of Chandra Levy, discussing his feelings about the case and what he feels about, of course, Congressman Gary Condit.
