JONATHAN MANN, CNN ANCHOR: A moment ago we heard from Britain. All 15 countries, though, of the European Union have pledged their support for the United States at an emergency meeting in Brussels. And in a separate meeting, NATO has declared the hijack attacks an assault against all NATO member states.

Diana Muriel joins us now from Brussels with the latest there -- Diana.

DIANA MURIEL, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes, Jonathan, here in Brussels today NATO will continue their meetings today, no press conferences are planned, but Lord Robertson, the Secretary General of NATO, is still in Brussels and we hope to be speaking to him on CNN later in the day.
