WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: Let's update you on Hurricane Lili. All morning we've been seeing a lot of wind and rain from the hurricane. If you've been watching CNN, as we hope you've been watching, you've seen our own Jeff Flock trying to weather the elements in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Looks like it's still pretty windy where you are -- Jeff.
JEFF FLOCK, CNN CORRESPONDENT: It doesn't want to quit, Wolf. We know this isn't that tremendously large a storm. And we're not really getting so much backside right now; we're more getting side side I think as the storm moves on past us.
One of the key questions is power. You see this man over here, he is the man who is in charge of power transition for the city of Morgan City. And the young lady standing next to him runs the Holiday Inn. What they're trying to work out a plan to get power restored to the hotel because they feel like a lot of people that will come back into town, perhaps early today, they want to be in a position to have somewhere to stay if they don't have power at their own home. At least they get it somewhere.
So all in all, this town weathered it out pretty well. They were really concerned about how this is retirement rest home is under construction here. They really thought since it was under construction -- there a lot of boards that are sort of hanging loose -- that with the heavy winds, that they'd probably turn that thing into kindling. Fortunately, it didn't happen. It's still a pretty good blow, but nothing as serious as it could have been.
We'll, of course, continue to stand out in it and watch it. Back to you.
