Finally tonight, predator politics. In the last 24 hours there's been a lot of analysis about Arnold Schwarzenegger a lot of questions about where his political ambitions were born. It's overlooked however is the fact that Schwarzenegger is a member of a little known political dynasty. I'm not talking about the Kennedy clan. I'm talking about the cast of "Predator."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

COOPER (voice-over): It turns out the movie is not just an important work of cinema. For its actors it's been an entry of sorts into the rough and tumble world of politics. First it was Blaine, Jesse Ventura as a tough talking commando. Later he would become the governor of Minnesota. Now it's Major Dutch, Arnold Schwarzenegger has placed his pumped up pecks into the race hoping Californian are hungry for a leader who knows thou take charge.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA: You're one ugly mother...

COOPER: "Predator" is no the a gubernatorial guarantee. Just ask Billy, played by Sonny Landham. If you're not familiar with him he starred in "Billy Lone Bear," the most erotic action/adventure film you'll ever see. Perhaps you didn't see it. Despite considerable experience with government having spent 31 months incarcerated in a federal institution, he lost his bid for Kentucky governor 2002. If Schwarzenegger wins perhaps it will only be a matter of time before Carl Weathers tries for something, Dillon in "Predator." Come to think of it he also played Apollo Creed, maybe he could be appointed to run NASA. Just an idea. That wraps up the show for tonight. Paula Zahn is next.
