VINCE CELLINI, CNN ANCHOR: Today, three months after a former government intern disappeared, the nation is still asking the question "Where is Chandra Levy"? Washington police are still on the case.
CNN's Patty Davis joins us live with the very latest on the investigation. Patty.
PATTY DAVIS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, Vince, Washington D.C. Police Chief Charles Ramsey said this morning that the Chandra Levy case remains a priority. Now, police have interviewed and in some cases are re-interviewing people who live in Chandra Levy's building, just trying to find out what they know about the former intern who was last heard from on May 1st.
Police Chief Ramsey says the main theories are that Levy either left on her own, met with foul play and that suicide is a very remote possibility. They have also talked with California Congressman Gary Condit for a fourth time. That took place on Thursday. Police are not revealing much from that interview, but law enforcement sources tell CNN that he did give them useful information about Levy's state of mind. They say they can't rule him or anyone else out since they don't have many clues to what might have happened to Ms. Levy.
Now, during the third interview is when police sources tell CNN that Condit admitted that he had had an intimate relationship with the lady.
Police recruits combed through Washington D.C. parks last week looking for any traces of the missing intern. They came up with absolutely nothing. They've also searched abandoned buildings in weeks back, but have come up empty handed. Very little to go on in this case. Those searches of D.C. parks resume once again on Monday and police say that those searches will end at the end of the week if they don't come up with anything once again.
Levy's parents, meanwhile, say that they are still holding out hope, Vince.
CELLINI: Thank you very much, Patty Davis.
