HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: A winter storm warning is in effect for parts of the Rockies, with as much as two feet of snow in the forecast. My buddy Tyler Lopez of affiliate KWGN in Denver reports on the state's wintry wonder.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
TYLER LOPEZ, KWGN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Breckenridge, where this storm has dumped well over a foot of the fresh stuff.
For shop keepers that depend on tourists, the timing just before Thanksgiving is perfect.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Last year, we got nearly nothing, you know? And this one is a good start. I have a rather happy face. If we don't have a happy face, stay home, you know.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Two is enough.
LOPEZ: They're all smiles at Greta's, where this couple left Denver two weeks ago to take a shot at the coffee business.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It's wonderful.
LOPEZ: The profits are sweet, and some even believe Colorado's drought problem is getting buried.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) in Denver, so we need plenty of snow up here and keep coming.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We have a foot on the table over there and another foot coming.
LOPEZ: Ready or not...
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We weren't prepared, but it's still great.
LOPEZ: The Rockies are all white.
