JOHN VAUSE, CNN ANCHOR: There's word of yet another explosion in Iraq today, this time a military vehicle has been hit.
Let's go straight to CNN's Rym Brahimi in Baghdad for the latest on this.

Rym, what can you tell us?

RYM BRAHIMI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: John, we were just being briefed by the spokesman of the Kurdish and authority. And they're saying that again still to this day, there are still about 12 attacks daily against U.S. military convoys.

Now as this case, a convoy was using this bridge on the western highway, basically the road that's known as Arman in neighboring Jordan. Eyewitnesses say that they heard a bang, and then they saw their Humvee, which was the last vehicle in the convoy, apparently. They saw that Humvee on fire. U.S. military ran to the scene, cordoned off the area and then evacuated the vehicle. And some people who seem to be slightly injured in that vehicle according to eyewitnesses.

Meanwhile, in the north, John, there have been ethnic clashes between the Turkamen and Kurds, clashes that actually turned very violent and led to the deaths of two Turkamens and the wounding of two others. And then that's not all. Basically after those ethnic clashes in the north that have been going on for two days, in the south as you know, British military officials are still investigating an incident in which three British military servicemen were killed when their vehicle was ambushed. So a very - another very stable picture for the time being, although coalition authorities insist that there are also a lot of good projects going on. They made a list of all the projects involving water irrigation that have been continuing despite these attacks.

Now at the United Nations, meanwhile, the investigation continues over there as well, John. But relatives of the families of the victims, the local victims that died in that tragic bombing, increasingly worried and angry because they haven't been able to get access to the bodies of their loved ones. And they're very concerned about that. It's been six days. And as you know, local tradition here has it that their bodies should be buried as soon as possible after the death - John?
