Roy Horn Remains Hospitalized

MARTIN SAVIDGE, CNN ANCHOR: And now to Las Vegas, and the star's fight to survive. The future of the Siegfried and Roy show is in limbo, and one of the duo, Roy Horn, remains hospitalized following a harrowing attack on stage that took place Friday night.
CNN's Miguel Marquez joins us now live from Las Vegas with the latest on his condition -- Miguel.
MIGUEL MARQUEZ, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning there, Marty. We have a slight uptick in hope overnight. Allen Feldman (ph) with the MGM Mirage, saying that Roy is communicating, though it's not entirely clear what he means by that. The Associated Press is reporting now that Roy is on life support and heavily medicated. We also know that yesterday there were many visitors to the hospital, but only two people got in to see him.
His longtime manager, Bernie Yuman, is saying that this is a second-by-second, minute-by-minute battle that Roy is fighting. We also know that all of their shows have been canceled through Christmas. And we have also understood that all 200 or over 200 employees of the show have been told by MGM Mirage to consider other career options.
His official status here is still critical, but stable. And there's a lot of well-wishers who have started to come by, hoping that Roy Horn survives this -- Marty.
