CATHERINE CALLAWAY, CNN ANCHOR: Here's something to keep in mind while you're out shopping for gifts. Imagine going to the store, you try on a pair of blue jeans and you find some money in the pockets. Would you turn in the money?

KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Well, one woman did and as Noelle Walker from our CNN affiliate WCCO in Minneapolis explains, her honesty has netted her a sweet reward of at least $10,000.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NOELLE WALKER, WCCO REPORTER (voice-over): Remember Forrest Gump, who thought life was like a box of chocolates? Well if it is, this box of chocolates can teach us a lot about how we should live.

KATHY HEALY, GOOD SAMARITAN: I went into the dressing room to try these on.

WALKER: Kathy Healy was shopping for jeans at Marshall Field's in Roseville. In the dressing room, it wasn't the blue denim that caught her eye, it was a flash of green.

HEALY: I could see a $50 bill on top. There was a $100 bill underneath and several more bills.

WALKER: Kathy didn't think twice. She brought the cash to a Fields sales clerk and the woman who had misplaced her money got it back.

HEALY: She was almost in tears, and she asked me "what can I do to repay you? Thank you so much." I told her nothing. It's nothing that anyone else wouldn't have done. I said the next time you get a chance, do a good deed for someone, just make sure you do it.

WALKER: That's when karma came in a box of chocolates.

HEALY: The sales associate said, "well at least let Marshall Fields give you a box of Frango mints.

WALKER: The green box sat on the counter all night.

HEALY: I had no intention of opening it, none.

WALKER: In fact, Kathy planned to re-gift her gift, but her daughter was craving chocolate. And a good thing she was, because, this is what Kathy found inside: a ticket worth at least $10,000.

HEALY: Immediately my daughter Kennan (ph) goes "mom, you won. You won."

WALKER: Kathy will join four other winners yet to score their lucky tickets in Chicago for a drawing to win $100,000.

HEALY: It makes me hope that people will be more willing to help people out.

WALKER: And that is how Kathy Healy's life is, like a box of chocolates: It's oh, so sweet.
