A Blank of Snow From New Jersy to New England

HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: A blanket of snow is unfurling from New Jersey to New England, and some areas could see two feet of snow before the Nor'easter plays out.
CNN's Jason Carroll is right in the middle of it all in Stratton, Vermont, where skiers are celebrating the wonderful gift from the heavens, right?

JASON CARROLL, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning to you there, Heidi. A foot and a half, about a foot and a half of snow, has fallen already. As you can see, the snow is still falling. We're up here in Stratton at the Stratton Mountain Resort, where the life is all about skiing.

If you're out on the roads, it's treacherous. But if you're out on the slopes, this is the place to be, just ask the Drucker (ph) family. They're in from Boston. How's it been going so far?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It's been going great, and we're really looking forward to today with all the new powder and no more ice, and we should have a great day skiing.

CARROLL: I know a lot of people are cursing the snow, but you guys are actually praising it, right?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, yes, we haven't had snow like this in years. My kids learned to ski on ice, and this is a big treat for them.

CARROLL: Very quickly, kids, what do you think of the snow so far?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It's just great. Just what we've been waiting for. Finally a good winter.

CARROLL: You're loving it, right? All right, thanks very much.

I'm going to move over very quickly here. It's a good winter up here at this resort for a number of reasons, mainly because it's great for the economy.

This is Sky Foulkes, manager up here at the resort. Tell me, how's this been for business?

SKY FOULKES, GENERAL MANAGER, STRATTON MOUNTAIN RESORT: It's been an awesome year. We've had great snow since the start, one of our best holiday periods ever, and it's been an awesome year. CARROLL: Also, looking ahead to the summer, I know it seems unlikely, but with all this pack that you've got right now, by the time the summer rolls around, that means you're going to -- your reservoirs are going to be full, and...

FOULKES: All the waterways for us will be full, streams will be up. But right now, we just want to ski on it.

CARROLL: Any safety advice you want to give to people out there, or...

FOULKES: Just take your time, know what you're doing, and have fun.

CARROLL: All right, Sky, appreciate it very much. Like that name, by the way.

FOULKES: Thank you.

CARROLL: Thanks a lot, really appreciate it.

Once again, snow still coming down. The worst of the storm is actually behind us. The worst of the storm came in on Friday. The storm is supposed to taper off today, it's supposed to move out to sea by later on today. But once again, if you talk to some of these folks up here, they don't want the storm to move on. They like it falling, the snow falling just the way it is, Heidi.
