JASON CARROLL, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, you heard Heidi talking about it. If you've been searching for Mr. Right, there is a new book that just might help you. It's called "Mr. Right, Right Now!" Its author is E. Jean Carroll. She says her strategy can bring results in just six weeks.
And of course, she is here with us now with all the details.

Jean, I got to tell you, I've scanned through some of this. I have my doubts, Jean. I'm going to let you have your say, but I have my doubts. Here is the book.

E. JEAN CARROLL, AUTHOR, "MR. RIGHT, RIGHT NOW!": I could see why you would doubt it, because six weeks seems way too long.

CARROLL: Yes.

E. JEAN CARROLL: If you meet the right person, and everybody out there knows this, when you meet the right person, you feel that rush, rush, that gush, gush, of, I really like this person.

CARROLL: Yes, but how do you know that's the right person? That could just be, you know, infatuation just that quick, you know?

E. JEAN CARROLL: Mother Nature knows it's the right person. OK? She gives you that feeling, that -- we call it clicking. You just want to see that person again. Mother Nature has created this over the last three billion years. She wants people to come together. Boom! And she wants you to be happy.

CARROLL: No, I know people call it clicking, other people would call it lust. But (UNINTELLIGIBLE)...

E. JEAN CARROLL: Lust is good.

CARROLL: Lust is good.

E. JEAN CARROLL: Lust is good.

CARROLL: OK.

E. JEAN CARROLL: All I'm saying is, when you meet -- I am telling women how to meet such high numbers of elite and eligible men, it becomes a mathematical certainty that they're going to meet Mr. Right. CARROLL: I don't know, Jean. I don't know. But let's go over -- there are the -- what are the quick steps that people can do?

E. JEAN CARROLL: OK, first week, we're going to get the right attitude, and that is, basically, you just cannot care what the male beast thinks.

CARROLL: What?

E. JEAN CARROLL: You cannot take men seriously, because the minute...

CARROLL: Wait a minute!

E. JEAN CARROLL: Now, wait. The minute you start -- if I was sitting here saying...

CARROLL: Oh, come on.

E. JEAN CARROLL: ... Oh, Jason, what do you think? Oh, Jason, do you like me? Oh, Jason, do you like my shirt? Jason, Jason! You know, you would think I was pathetic.

CARROLL: No. I would think you were just asking me for an opinion. It's OK.

E. JEAN CARROLL: No, no. I would be pathetic.

CARROLL: OK.

E. JEAN CARROLL: So just do not care what men think.

CARROLL: All right.

E. JEAN CARROLL: The second week, you got to look good. And I'm saying, if you -- you have to work out anyway, so why don't you go to the batting cages and whittle your waist?

CARROLL: Because that's where you're going to meet the guys.

E. JEAN CARROLL: That's where -- We in New York, we took two women to Chelsea Piers. There were two women there, and 400 men.

CARROLL: Did they just get a date, or did they just meet Mr. Right?

E. JEAN CARROLL: They exchanged numbers, many numbers.

CARROLL: OK.

E. JEAN CARROLL: And so a couple of the girls will be dating a couple of guys they met there.

CARROLL: Well, what is your track record on this? I mean, how, I mean, where, tell me about some of your success stories. E. JEAN CARROLL: It's not my track record. It's Mother Nature's. (UNINTELLIGIBLE), well, we know for the last 3 billion years it works. Mother Nature throws people together, she makes sure they're attract -- she doesn't care if they stay together.

CARROLL: Right.

E. JEAN CARROLL: She just wants you together. That is a good enough foundation on which to build something. And my track record has been tested for 10 years.

CARROLL: Right.

E. JEAN CARROLL: Because I'm the advice column columnist for "Elle." And so for 10 years, women are saying, E. Jean, you imbecile, help me find a man. And so after, you know, (UNINTELLIGIBLE) 10 years (UNINTELLIGIBLE)...

CARROLL: Have you found Mr. Right, Jean? Have you found...

E. JEAN CARROLL: Many times.

CARROLL: Well, see, E. Jean, but...

E. JEAN CARROLL: Many times.

CARROLL: See, this is what I mean. How can you say that you found Mr. Right? I thought Mr. Right meant, he's it forever. So am I misreading that?

E. JEAN CARROLL: No, no, I am a symbol of -- I am -- Right now, I don't want a man. I don't need a man. I know how to get one after 10 years...

CARROLL: So is it about those who can't do, teach? It's not that.

E. JEAN CARROLL: No. It's -- here -- you know, may -- A lot of women don't want a man forever, for God's sakes. They just want a boyfriend or a fling. But if a woman is serious, wants a husband, I promise, I guarantee you, if you do what's...

CARROLL: Guarantee.

E. JEAN CARROLL: ... book, no matter where you are, no matter how old you are, in six weeks, if you do what this book says, you will have a good guy, without ripping yourself to shreds.

CARROLL: All right. So for the women out there who go out and buy your book, and in six weeks, they don't get Mr. Right, what then? Can they call you?

E. JEAN CARROLL: They can personally -- No, they can...

CARROLL: Because don't call us.

E. JEAN CARROLL: ... personally call you, call you, Jason.

CARROLL: Don't call us.

E. JEAN CARROLL: No, it will work. They just have to do it. They have to leave the house and do -- they have to get -- they have to meet five new men every week.

CARROLL: All right.

E. JEAN CARROLL: So it's not easy.

CARROLL: OK. E. Jean Carroll. The book is called "Mr. Right, Right Now!" Thank you very much for joining us. You're a good sport.

E. JEAN CARROLL: You are the best, Jason. I'm a big fan.

CARROLL: See, that's how you get Mr. Right, you compliment, compliment.

E. JEAN CARROLL: Well, who's not going to compliment you? You're the handsomest man on TV, (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

CARROLL: Yeah, right.
