A look at todays Weather; Chaos in Haiti's Capital City

MARTIN SAVIDGE, CNN ANCHOR: I'm Martin Savidge.
In Haiti, a capital city in chaos, and U.S. Marines may be sent to stand by off the coast. Shops have closed in Port-au-Prince, while armed gangs roam the streets looting and killing. Rebels claim to have the capital surrounded. The U.S. embassy blames the violence on supporters of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide. The U.S. State Department issues a travel warning telling 20,000 Americans there to find a save haven.
In China, talks designed to end North Korea's nuclear weapons program come to a close with no major progress. North Korea denied again that it has a program for enriching uranium nuclear weapons, for nuclear weapons. The U.S. claims the North Koreans privately admitted two years ago that they have such a program.
Former chief U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix says the -- he suspects that the U.S. spied on him in the United States in the runup to the Iraq war. Blix's comments follow a claim that British intelligence bugged the office of U.N. chief Kofi Annan.
Former chief weapons inspector Richard Butler says that he had to make confidential discussions outside because his U.N. office phones were bugged.
Rob Marciano takes a look at the weather right now this weekend. Rob?
ROB MARCIANO, CNN METEOROLOGIST: Hey, Marty.
(UNINTELLIGIBLE) the snows across Carolina today will be slowly melting, although it's around freezing right now. High pressure will be in control across the Eastern seaboard. We're looking at a lot of sunshine.
Return flow bringing a lot of mild air up towards the north. This storm system, which was across California last couple days, now moving into the Rocky Mountains and the Wasatch of Utah, Salt Lake City and the surrounding mountains could easily see a couple of feet of snow, or at least the mountains.
Fifty-two in Denver today, it'll e 59 in Dallas. Look at the mild air here. Fifty-seven in Washington, D.C., and 52 degrees in Chicago, 48 degrees, beginning to feel like spring up in Minneapolis. And tomorrow, at least the Eastern seaboard a good five or so degrees warmer, 63 degrees in D.C., 66 here in Atlanta, and 72 degrees expected in New Orleans.
Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio could see some strong to severe thunderstorms, Marty, tomorrow, but the Eastern seaboard once again feeling awfully like spring.
