FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: An Irish castle may be forced to use its ancient fortifications to fend off members of the media who have now surrounded it. And guess what those members of the media are just now beginning to see? They are seeing Paul McCartney himself and his bride Heather who apparently have just arrived at the castle. And in the middle of it all is our own CNN's Richard Quest.

RICHARD QUEST, CNN CORRESPONDENT (on camera): With facts few and far between, it's been left to speculation and gossip in this small Irish town, to come up with what's happening at Castle Leslie. Pretty much now everyone now says it will be the wedding of Sir Paul McCartney to Heather Mills, and there likely date is Tuesday morning. The organizers and anyone from within Castle Leslie are still continuing with the pretense that there is a product launch under way. If it is a product launch, it's a very big one. The amount of fuel, food, gravel and technology that's been shunted through those gates would make for a very major event indeed.
Now, the truth is it's going to be a wedding ceremony and it will be early next week. We believe 300 guests have been told to arrive at Heathrow Airport in London, and the only promise is bring your passport and you'll be returned the next day.
Otherwise, it's back to rumor and speculation, and the gossip here is that the former U.S. president, Bill Clinton, may also turn up. But as I say, it's rumor and speculation.
Richard Quest, CNN, Glaslough, Ireland.

WHITFIELD: And guess what? This is not a rumor, this has now been confirmed by a McCartney spokesperson that Paul McCartney and Heather will be marrying right there on Tuesday. They are now telling CNN that, so you have heard it first; it's official. Tuesday is the big wedding day.
