CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: Right now, we want to show you some amazing pictures that are coming out of Canberra, Australia, where a bush fire has now destroyed nearly 400 suburban homes and killing four people and forcing thousands to evacuate right now. We're going to get the very latest from Marguerite McKinnon, who is in Canberra. Marguerite, what is the situation with that bush fire?
MARGUERITE MCKINNON, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes, hello, Carol, from Canberra. I'm standing in Canberra in Duffy, one of the worst place -- one of the worst hit areas. Everywhere behind me, it's a typical story, houses have been destroyed. At the moment, though, now, the cleanup is continuing. We have insurers coming in to assess the damage. Of course, the fire brigade, police are making sure that no one is still left in the building, which have been remained -- which remains. And the power lines are being restored.
Yesterday, a quarter of the city was without power. Now it's less than 5 percent. But at the moment, it's very slow, arduous progress. And people are just wandering around, basically, in a daze.
LIN: Marguerite, we can certainly understand that, just looking at the devastation there. Thank you very much. Marguerite McKinnon, reporting live in Canberra, from the scene of that devastating bush fire. No sign of it ending anytime soon.
