CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: You want to talk about separated at birth? We're going to go out to Los Angeles to the Golden Globe Awards. Our Daryn Kagan with Jamie Lee Curtis, you guys look like twins tonight.
DARYN KAGAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes. They're saying that we look like twins.

JAMIE LEE CURTIS, ACTRESS: Well, we are twins.

KAGAN: How about that? It is so nice to finally meet you in person.

CURTIS: Separated at birth.

KAGAN: Absolutely. That's what you husband says, right?

CURTIS: I know. He tells me my sister is on television.

KAGAN: And mine is in the movies and on television. Now you're presenting tonight.

CURTIS: I am. I'm presenting the Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series and/or Made for Movie.

KAGAN: Did you practice that?

CURTIS: No. I get to do it with Paul Walker who all of my daughter's friends and my daughter agreed was not a bad television date.

KAGAN: Very good. Now why don't you introduce your daughter to the world.

CURTIS: My daughter (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

KAGAN: Yes, I know. It gets to be old hat when you're a child of a star.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A little bit. (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

CURTIS: My husband was so pleased when we had a daughter because I think he knew that that meant that I would have somebody to go with to awards, who would enjoy it with me rather than him who hates it.

KAGAN: Now you've been to this one. How many times have you been to the Golden Globes?

CURTIS: I wouldn't even know. I'm an old...

KAGAN: Don't say old.

CURTIS: You know what I mean. I mean I've done this a long time.

KAGAN: You have. Explain to people who aren't as (UNINTELLIGIBLE) Golden Globes about the kind of party that takes place in there, how things get a little wacky and crazy.

CURTIS: Well, I'm not sure it's so wacky.

KAGAN: You don't think so?

CURTIS: But I mean the energy zipping around here is all, you know, very palpable. You can feel it. It's changed. It's become a bit of a spectator sport. You know there are people are up in the stands kind of screaming and you always know when a big, big star shows up.

KAGAN: Right, yes you do. Now you crossed back and forth between television and movies but a lot of people are kind of television or movies, and that's something that's special about tonight.

CURTIS: Absolutely and comedy and drama.

KAGAN: Right.

CURTIS: I won a Golden Globe when I did the movie "True Lies," and I mean I knew that that work would never be recognized in any of the (UNINTELLIGIBLE). I mean it's that weird thing of comedy is somewhat illegitimate and therefore it's much harder to make a mark. Now, occasionally people do. Kevin Kline won an Oscar for "A Fish Called Wanda."

KAGAN: Which you were also in by the way.

CURTIS: I was in but I mean but comedy is not often recognized and so it's nice that there is a party that recognizes good comedy.

KAGAN: Well, we wish both of you to have a great time tonight, a pleasure to meet you.

CURTIS: (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Do you want to do a closeup?

KAGAN: OK.

CURTIS: My sister.

KAGAN: There you go.

CURTIS: Separated at birth.

KAGAN: Next time you're in Atlanta, you'll stop by. OK, good luck. You wonder why I love this assignment. It's a lot of fun.
