MARTIN SAVIDGE, CNN ANCHOR: Turning to weather, how about this -- a storm churning in the Gulf of Mexico could be kicking up a lot of wind and water in the next 36 hours.
Meteorologist Rob Marciano has an update on Bill's movements.

ROB MARCIANO, CNN METEOROLOGIST: We now have our second official tropical storm of the season and we're only into the month of June. June, by the way, prime target for the Gulf of Mexico. Main reason really, the water's here extremely warm. Some of buoy reports this morning and some of the ship reports bringing the water temperatures in the Gulf of Mexico to up and over 85 degrees, that is prime fuel for the development of tropical storms and hurricanes.
You can see the little wave as it develops into the Gulf of Mexico and then the thunderstorms just flare up around it. And the National Hurricane Center is got its eye on this, no doubt about it. We are expecting this to continue to development possibly strengthen -- well, possibly up to hurricane status, but the official track or forecast does not bring it to that strength over the next 24 to 48 hours. But it does bring it to landfall as soon as tomorrow night.
Storm threat? You bet. Tropical storm watch out from San Luis Pass, Texas, over to Morgan City, Louisiana. So southwest Louisiana and southeast Texas. And again, it could make landfall as soon as tomorrow night with some heavy rain and possible some wind, as well.
I'm Rob Marciano from the CNN Weather Center. That's the very latest on Tropical Storm Bill.
