HAMED ABDI, IRIB CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Tehran, who's T in this poster stands as a conductor, orchestrating for the (UNINTELLIGIBLE) music festival, as part of the ceremonies held annually in Iran to commemorate the triumph anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
To follow the beat of the festivities, music lovers make a b-line for the performances of their own taste. This year's event, the 16th of its kind, hosted some 70 groups and bands from nine countries, performed in seven halls around the capital.
Tuning the instruments, getting ready to play, the conductor gestures and the audience, all ears.
A diverse array of music, ranging from classical and tradition, to folk and country music. Orchestras, ensembles, and duets.
(on camera): Written by heart and emotions, music crosses the conventional frontiers, and can play a pivotal part in fulfilling the concept of dialect among civilizations.
Just like any other music festival, notes speak louder than words.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE (through translator): The Iranian audience are very warm and eager, and I'm so glad to be here.
ABDI: Here, are art and dialect among artists.
